Went here as soon as it opened for lunch! I was in the mood for thai food and my man recommended this place to satisfy my thai cravings! So glad we went! The first thing i noticed when i walked in were their cute christmas decor and a cool upstairs area for more customers! The lady taking our order was nice and attentive. The food was so good for the price . Honestly i would have paid more for it! We ordered the boat noodles and I didn't know what to expect. I've never had it before, but the best way I can describe the taste is it being a mix between vietnamese beef stew and pho. When it first came out, it was a little darker than I expected and I wasn't sure it would be good, but wow the flavor! 5/5 would order again. The pad thai I thought was the perfect mix of sweet, tangy and savory. I added some of the chili flakes and chili paste on the side for some extra spice which I feel really elevated it. The noodles were perfectly coated and chewy!! I was so full, but couldn't stop eating . 5/5 would order again. YUM.Lastly we ordered the spicy basil chicken over rice to round it all out and I thought this was also super tasty. 4.5/5. I think this could have had come with a little bit more rice because it got a bit salary at the end since the meat was so flavorful. The overeasy egg was perfectly cooked though! The runny yolk is the besttt.I'd say I'm pretty picky with my food, but this place will definitely book marked if I ever need my thai fix again.

Thaitwist (Chino Hills) sold affordable and fresh food. I purchased the Yellow Curry Chicken Lunch Special ($11.95) and Thai Iced Tea ($5.50).The food's portion is filling; however, the Yellow Curry Chicken Lunch Special tastes unremarkable. Chicken is bland and boiled; curry's potatoes are chewy and dry; and yellow curry is very milky. Thankfully, the yellow curry sauce is well-spiced. Strangely enough, the accompanying salad and pot stickers tasted better than the Yellow Chicken Curry. The salad had crisp, fresh lettuce with a thick, sweet salad dressing. The pot stickers were stuffed and crisp. Yum!Unfortunately, the Thai Iced Tea is extremely generic. Its taste is very similar to canned Thai Tea in a grocery store. The service is business-like. The server is curt and professional. I waited nine minutes and 30 seconds for my orders. I arrived on a weekday (1:40PM). In addition, the Thaitwist (Chino Hills) ambiance is okay. I noticed bits of trash unswept underneath a nearby table; the furniture looked cracked and worn-down; and the location was very quiet. The location was also somewhat clean.[Honorable Mention: Since this review, I had also tasted their Southern Sea Fried Rice ($15.95). It was DELICIOUS. Very fresh and flavorful.]Overall, Thaitwist (Chino Hills) is an okay experience. The food is good-value and filling. If I ever return, I would only order the Southern Sea Fried Rice.3.5/5

Came here for lunch on a Wednesday after being in the area and seeing the raving reviews and I'm glad I stumbled upon it! Inside has a nice interior with ample seating and upstairs seating as well. The prices here are really good especially for their lunch special! I ordered a Tom Kha Noodle Soup with Chicken for about $13 and comes with gyoza as well. The broth was nice and creamy with a hint of spice, but I wouldn't mind more! Mushrooms they chose for the dish I was not too big of a fan of and I think the chicken was a little bland but still enjoyed the soup. The Spicy Basil Fried Rice was amazing. I don't get spicy fried rice often but this one definitely packed some kick. I got it with pork and it felt like a great choice. This one's for sure a staple in the future.

My friends and I were starving and wanted some Thai. The restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. It can get crowded as Costco and other markets are nearby. We were seated quickly, and it was quite nice inside though it can get packed during rush hours. There were family inside, so it was a casual spot for gatherings. For food, we got the pad thai chicken, spicy basil fried rice, and tom kha! When the food arrived, the portions were huge! My favorite was the tom kha as it was creamy and delicious with rice. The spicy basil fried rice was also yummy as the spices elevated the taste and I kept eating more. Pad Thai chicken was delicious and savory as well! I would come back here again to try other dishes.

Came here for lunch at 1130 on a Friday. Ordered padseeeww, chicken fried rice and garlic noodles with beef. Also ordered veggie egg rolls as an appetizer. Our appetizer can after our food came out. Didn't care for that. Should've come beforehand. Chicken fried rice looked different that most places as it was yellow. Thought that was odd. It was decent. Padseeew was the best to me. Garlic noodles lacked something for me. I think I like it butter and garlic and it just didn't have enough of that for me. Overall cute little spot that is tucked away in a mini shopping center like area. Not bad at all. We will be back

My favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Staff is friendly and quick, this place does get quite packed during dinner times especially on the weekend and I can see why. Can't go wrong with amazing Thai food. Food does come out quicker than expected but it is always hot. Boat Noodle Soup- best I've had yet. If you don't like your broth sweet you may not like this. I love it- deep, rich, sweet, savory broth. Always comes out pipping hot! If it's not burning my mouth I don't want it. The rice noodle that is uses soaks up the broth while you eat it and I love that.Khoa Soi- broth is creamy and rich curry. Comes with deep fried noodles that adds the perfect amount of texture when mixed with the soft noodles.Spicy Catfish- wasn't spicy but flavorful. The sauce is paired well over rice.Roti & Curry- always nice and flaky, be careful it's pipping hot when it comes out. Spicy Basil Fried Rice- isn't really spicy but the basil adds depth to the fried rice. Fried rice had a nice texture not too soft and not too hard or greasy.

Fast, affordable, and has a big menu.We walked in around 630pm on a Saturday and was able to get seated right away. The restaurant was very busy, but the table turn around is quick. The decor is very eclectic and adds character to the ambiance. The air conditioning was a little weak in the back where we were sitting so it got kinda stuffy.Overall, we enjoyed most of the dishes we ordered, but I would not recommend the Thai Twist salad as the flavors clashed and the salad was served warm. I also got the Khao soi which was just okay. I couldn't figure out what was lacking and wished I asked for a lime after the fact.Pad see eww and the fried tofu and shrimp appetizers were good.

Visited the area for a business meeting. Unfortunately, my experience at Thai Twist in Chino Hills was disappointing. I called in my order for drunken noodles and Thai iced tea, and the man I spoke to seemed in a rush to end the call, so I didn't even have a chance to ask about ordering another drink for my friend who I was going to meet up with. When I arrived to pick up my food, I tried to pay with Apple Pay, but their system malfunctioned and failed to process the payment--four times. I had to go back to my car to pay with my credit card, which was both frustrating and time-consuming.Since it was a cold day, I asked if I could eat inside instead of sitting in my car. The woman at the counter told me that takeout orders weren't allowed to dine in, but she made an exception "this time," and loudly announced this to the customers behind her. It was awkward and a bit humiliating, especially since I wasn't dressed in a way that seemed out of place. There were at least 9 tables still open in the restaurant, so I couldn't understand why there was such a big deal about letting me sit. Wouldn't a business want to appear busy and inviting?I was really trying to support this restaurant, especially since the restaurant industry has struggled so much since COVID. But, unfortunately, the experience didn't make me want to return. As for the food, the drunken noodles were bland and lacked flavor--definitely not up to par for a Thai dish. I've had better Thai food elsewhere, and this was one of my least favorite dishes from this restaurant. The Thai iced tea was also disappointing--it wasn't freshly made to order, and there were several sitting under the counter, waiting to be handed off to customers. It didn't taste as fresh as I expected.Overall, my visit didn't meet expectations. Between the underwhelming food, issues with the payment system, and uncomfortable service, I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon. There's definitely room for improvement.Having spent my entire life enjoying food and my taste-tester experience within the restaurant industry, I understand how important it is to hit the right notes when it comes to both food and service.So.... I'm here in my car, trying to balance the food on my lap eating on a cold day with tasteless noodles and a Thai drink that was pre-made- not fresh, (this should be made fresh, its so easy to make this drink in less than a minute!)

One of the better thai spots in the area of Chino Hills, would highly recommend trying it out! LOCATION: Located in a shopping center next to other Asian food spots, hard to not find. Plenty of parking spots and not hard to find. Right off the 71 Highway, convenient location overall. SERVICE: Overall, service was ok. They brought all the necessary things we requested throughout the night such as pepper, water, chopsticks, specific asks, etc. The hospitality and personality of the servers were the only downsides as they didn't seem that happy to be there. FOOD - We ordered Pad See Ew, Tom Kha, and House Fried Rice. Great dishes! HOUSE FRIED RICE - A must-order!! Tons of flavor and is our favorite dish by far. Try it yourself, you won't be disappointed! PAD SEE EW and TOM KHA - Generous portion, delicious flavor for both. No complaints. Tom Kha soup had a lot meat and vegetables inside.

Food is amazing. But the front desk lady's attitude is very bad . I just ask about a few ingredients in my order and she became very annoyed . And after spending $30 for two plates god forbid I ask for extra sauce she wasn't too happy about that either . We spend our hard earn money in your establishment the least you can do is have some patience.
