Taqueria Taco Chiro

After trying a few different spots for pupusas here in Moval, these are by far the best I've had. They are a good size and only $3.50 each. I definitely recommend this spot for pupusas, I haven't ordered anything else but if these are so good I imagine the rest can't be bad. The only down side is that it's cash only, so come prepared.

It was a good place to eat and very tasTy, BUT now it was disgusting. Cicerones in Yucca deep fried. The oil they use must of been old. Maybe because they don't have enough business to keep everything fresh.I will not eat here anymore.

The pupusas are made to order. It takes about 15-20 minutes but that's a GOOD thing! They come out stuffed wide and fried to perfection. I highly suggest this place, cash only so be prepared but you get charged after so you have about 15 to 20 minutes to get to an atm if you forget haha

Came here for some pupusas and was greatly disappointed. They are disgusting and not up to par with what a pupusa should taste like. Do not go here for pupusas. I would give 0 stars if possible.

Yayyyy, I saw a video of a guy making pupusas on Facebook with his grandma and I had to have these! It was my very first time trying pupusas :-) I took the advice of other Yelpers and ordered over the phone. The girl taking orders warned me that they had a lot of other orders ahead of me and gave me an extended pick-up time of about 25 minutes. I gave them an extra 15 minutes & when I arrived, my order was ready, packaged and still warm when I got back home.I didn't even get to take a pic, because I was STARVING! Ordered 2 of the revueltas (with pork, cheese & beans.) It wasn't over-stuffed and the perfect amount of filling for me. I love pickled veggies, so the curtido/cabbage slaw it came with was OK, but it lacked flavor, I expected it to have seasoning or more of a vinegar kick. (This is the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars.) Oh yeah, I also tried their regular chicken taco & the meat was very tender, it was good. I'll be back.

I was quite disappointed. Authentic older lady cooking up a storm in the back and food took 25 minutes to prepare. I thought it was going to come out so good! Got home and was less enthusiastic. Curtido was awesome. Beans were creamy and yummy. The pupusas were dry and the mesa was too thick with a little layer of cheese and loroco. There wasn't enough hot sauce and curtido to fix it. Also the platinos didn't have the caramelization like they are supposed to taste like. They may have been old.? Sad to say I wont be back.

Second time trying this place now it's the last. Not worthy of being called Salvadoran restaurant. The pupusas are nothing like what they are supposed to be and the salsa was super salty. No customer service.

This place is a hole in the wall, there is nothing wrong with that sometimes that's where you find the best food. The food gets two stars, it's ok. The reason I gave this place one star is because 1- they take way too long, I called in my order and the lady said it would take 45mins, it took one hour and a half. 2-The service gets no stars, there is no customer service whatsoever, you have to ask the lady questions about your order or else she will just ignore you, its like they are doing you a favor. 3-The smell of Raid is really strong, you do not smell food, all you smell is the Raid. I was looking for a pupuseria in moval on Yelp and decided to try this place, for sure I will keep looking.

I love this place! The owner is very serious but after a while you get used to it. I come here at least once a week. I love their pupusas. The best I've tired so far!!

Been customer for 15+ years and this place has always been 100% in all the aspects (customer service, food quality etc.). I highly recommend Taqueria Taco Chiro.
