This is the best brick & mortar steet taco chain in the IE for the price. At $1.80 per taco, it's pretty affordable when considering there's places charging $5 for a slightly bigger taco. My favorite protein is the al pastor, followed by the carne asada.Their horchata is pretty good, it's made from scratch and not from a bottle or syrup. Service is exemplary, the employees are polite and courteous, at least on the two Sunday nights I've gone. Indoor dining area is small but ample, the tables they have aren't too close to the adjacent tables (which is one of my pet peeves) and they do a good job of keeping it clean. Looking forward to trying more things on the menu.

Yes, taco spots might have that niche where flavor becomes to all-powerful, need to come back, how is it this cheap type of place to visit. But that moment when a brick and mortar ACTUALLY still meets that niche too? Sign me up! Opening up to this place introduces a small but simple station but inside provides good amount of seating and even parking outside! Now we all know we don't come for the aesthetic, what do we come here for? TACOS! Thankfully the cashiers and cooks make it not only quick to order but also quick to make the order! And it's one of those places where you won't be met with a hefty bill when you do order! Cheaper end of restaurants within the radius, especially compared to taco stands! Top picks for this place; the tender and meaty Lengua, the flavorful and crisp Tripa, buttery melt in the mouth Cabeza and finally the smokey and savory Al Pastor. Taco lovers beware! Taco stands won't ever be the same again when you can still get it THIS good at your local dine and go!

Tacos de Birria and Consome were amazing! Great flavor! The only downside that I would say is the lack of chili oil ( salsa macha) for Birria and that they have Lemons instead of limes, as a Mexican you know it changes the flavor a lot!Definitely coming back!

$1.80 a taco! Yes it's small, but it's packed with meat!Came on a Sunday mid morning and it was empty and pretty clean. The lady was friendly and very quick with our order. Got 2) Asada and 2) pastor and the Asada so flavorful and the meat wasn't tough. Pastor was flavorful as well, but it wasn't the flavor I was expecting for pastor. So it really threw me off. I'll come back for the Asada if I'm in the area!

My rating is a 4.5 star rating. Not a fiver mostly because the flavors of the meat don't quite compare to my favorite little taqueria just down the street. And, they do not offer carnitas, my fav.You can peer behind the protective glass window into the kitchen and watch them at work. The trompo is a fine spectacle, spinning and searing the al pastor to a crisp brown. Meanwhile, what first impressed me was the chef manhandling a huge meat-filled burrito the size of his forearm. Truly mind boggling. The street tacos are extremely affordable, well under $2 ea, and the meat portions are very generous. It is up to the diner to dress them according to their liking from the community salsa bar that included sliced radishes, cucumbers, and marinated red onion. I personally love extra cilantro, but the only way for me to get cilantro was to choose the chopped white onions with very little cilantro. And both of their salsas, red and green, were a bit too spicy for my taste. A milder version would be appreciated. I know...wimp.Now that I got my minor criticisms out of the way, here is the good part. The meats we tried were very good. The birria is their star. Mr. B ordered two birria tacos with crispy shells, and they were beautiful and stuffed with a large quantity of meat. Crispy tacos run $3.50 ea. a la carte. The shredded meat (beef) is very moist, and the juices/consomme served in a cup are eye rollingly good. His plate included beans and rice, both of which were tasty. The meal runs in the $11-12 range.I ordered three smaller tacos: pastor, asada, and cabeza. A preliminary nibble of each meat before deciding, I decided my least favorite was the cabeza. The asada and al pastor were more flavorful. A squeeze of lemon, a small dousing of onion/cilantro, and a little more salt improved my overall impression.Would we return? Sure. They deserve to be proclaimed one of the better taquerias in town and should not be missed.

Inside is new and nice and spacious. It's very clean inside as well. You can look at the menu on their big tv screen so you can see what you want to get before you order. To the side you get a salsa and condiments bar where you can get what ever you need to enjoy your food. The salsa is pretty good as well. I especially love their green salsa. The service was great they bring your food to you and they are pretty quick at making your order.I saw a lot of good reviews for this place so I decided to try their carne asada burrito. The asada was flavorful and not dried out like some other taco places I have been too. You get a good size burrito for a good price. Inside the burrito you get a lot of rice and meat with some onions and cilantro. I would definitely be coming back here to try their other yummy food.

A very good friend (not from the Corona area) had heard of Taqueria Los Gueros and, after some hard pushing, convinced me to try them. To say I was reticent to do so would be putting it mildly since, having lived in Corona since the early 1970s and never having even heard of this place, was less than excited. He wanted us to enjoy some authentic Mexican food, not the typical Gringo places I typically go to ... REAL Mexican food. They are essentially located in a section of a shopping center, surrounded by a tax preparation place, a couple other small restaurants I also had never been interested in trying, and a vacant unit ... basically a box strip mall. You are greeted by a young lady with a big smile who essentially only speaks Spanish. My Spanish is basic but my buddy is fluent. I had never tried consume on a Taco but went for the Barria Plate Combo while my buddy customized a burrito to his own tastes. "Jose" is the combo Chef and Food Preparer and a guy who has even a bigger smile than the hostess/cashier. In fact, I had engaged in some small talk with him before my buddy arrived and he is the guy that suggested I get the Birria Combo Plate.Other than the Consome (which this Gringo needs to develop his tastes to enjoy) the meal was very authentic and delicious. My buddy said his burrito was wonderful. And while we were eating he pointed out that we were the only Gringos there. Everyone else was definitely of Mexican heritage. My buddy says that when you go to a new place like this to look at who likes to go there and THAT will tell you a lot about the food you are about to enjoy.Other than their beautiful mural, the restaurant is very basic and "sterile" (as it pertains to architecture). So I wouldn't take a date there (f I was still young enough to be dating) to impress her. But it also did not cost as much as the Jules Verne dining room in The Eiffel Tower (and I've eaten there too). So go there for the food, not the ambiance. But for those of you (Gringos like me) that want to expand your dining experience, want to try some authentic food at a good price, and do not want to pay for an outrageously elegant dining room, this may be a great place to try.I especially enjoyed the Al Pastor Tacos .... and the friendliness of the staff (both of them). I have since been back several times and now just get the Tacos to go. A great and tasty price/performer! And the staff is just as warm and friendly as ever.
