Taqueria El Jefe

I've occasionally stopped by this joint for lunch since it's relatively close to my work. They are located in a small plaza with a small parking lot. You wait in line to order and they do take card with a minimum charge. You also have to ask the cashier for plastic salsa cups and small plastic bag for limes. They have a small station for salsa, limes, etc. I ordered three chicken and one al pastor taco. The tacos came out really quickly and was very delicious. It's good bang for your buck. The inside of the restaurant is small and it's definitely a grab and go place, but there are a few tables available for dine in.

Cool little hole in the wall taco spot. I have been coming here for years and the tacos always hit.

Good tacos, we got there late on Sunday so all they had was tacos but man they were bomb, we will go back to try there burritos.

First time here & great overall experience! Got 3 "Burritos El Jefe" and they were HUGE! Great customer services, fast cook & wait time, and an amazing burrito! Can't wait to go back!

Stopped by on what happens to be taco Tuesday (score!)-- Tacos on Tuesdays = 1.19$I was working at Casa Colina hospital nearby and saw that this was on the way to the freeway. Easy parking lot. Hole in the wall Mexican spot (dirty tables, and no napkins on any of the tables)-- but I did not come for the atmosphere. Because of the unassuming hole in the wall type of place it is, I expected the food to be really good.FOOD: And yes, the Al pastor taco was great!-- Do not get the carne asada burrito. It was so hard and chewy with large chunks of bad meat! I'm not sure if it was an off day as I'm not a regular but the true regulars seemed like it was only tacos -- you have to ask for plastic salsa cups (there's a salsa station but it was realllllly dirty and flies around); the green salsa was great but not special OVERALL:-- I would not stop by and go out of my way to come here unless you live nearby.

Extremely affordable, delicious, and fresh. Besides the Mexican options they offer they also have a chicken nugget meal for the kiddos. Hidden Gem, must visit.

Food was good ! I had the bacon breakfast burrito. I would rate it a 7 out of 10 . It was big . The green chili is pretty good. It was freshly made and the ambiance is chill . I'll come again

Went in quick and my order was all wrong I could not eat it because I'm allergic to raw onions specifically. And I did place my order with no onions.

I went there about 2 years ago. Decided to stop by again. Did not remember how the food/ place is. Yeah...Now I know why it has been ove2 years & I will not be going back.I am sorry mi gente. It is not ok for the cook to be on his phone, go make your food without washing his hands and hand you your prepared meal. NOT COOL Not today, tomorrow or ever.The place also needs some upgrading, and the customer service there could use jump of friendliness, professionalism and attentiveness. The food was a 5 out of 10...Sorry but I will not be coming back. More food for you that give great reviews.
