Taqueria 2 Potrillos

Yummy food, nice service. It's a cafeteria-style ordering (or like Subway sandwich shops). I got a beef and a grilled fish taco. Both had great flavor. Not tiny tacos, but not taco bell size either. My friend got one of their giant flour tortilla quesadillas with meat and that was deelish. Everyone pays for their own food at the end of the ordering line so it's a good place to go with groups and not have to worry about splitting the check. They also have a good looking, self-help dessert case (cake slices and strawberries) before you get to the cash register to pay. I didn't see any flan though! Clean interior, including the bathroom. 2 stalls in the women's bathroom with fun music playing. Plenty of easy parking in the center's parking lot.

Food quality is great when they decide to do things properly but that's hit or miss, same with the service. One of the best Mexican spots in the area on the days they decide to put in some effort.For example, today the rice was undercooked and hard. One of the ladies gave attitude for not having our order ready for pickup.

The service was wonderful and the staff very nice. The entire order process wasn't easy since the glass wall with the stove and overhead vents so loud, the person behind the glass can't hear over the music loud, the chopping of meat, steam, so she had to come around out the door just to hear without getting her poor face burnt off. SUGGESTION: MOVE the "Order Here" sign to where the trays of meet are, or begin at the other end where you end up paying.Also, love the biodegradable containers, but they are too flimsy for the weight of the food. Steak was very much overcooked, rubbery, dry and had to be moistened eith sauce to bite. Because of order process, line backed up quickly.The ambiance and interior is spacious, furniture top quality and well spaced apart. Just need to get a fountain machine.Changes are needed to make even better!

Secluded location in Ontario still great food. Customer service was amazing. New location very upgraded in modern decor. The customer service was amazing.

Ambiance is nice and clean. Very spacious. Nice decor.It is in the new Stater Bros shopping center.Ordered:*Carne Asada Taco - Mmm! They have salad bar to put your own toppings on the tacos. It was delicious and flavorful. *Shrimp Taco - I didn't realize I ordered fried Shrimp instead of Grilled Shrimps. It was okay but liked the toppings.*Pineapple Orange - Mmm! They have many drinks to choose from. If you are not sure, ask for samples.Friendly staff and great customer service.I actually loved the hot and freshly made tortillas.Definitely will be back to try the burrito next time.

Tacos are delicious. The fresh hand made tortillas are so good. Stopped by for tacos on Valentine's Day and they had special pink tacos!

Been looking forward to having a Taqueria 2 Portrillos in Rancho. I used to live in Corona and would go to that location all the time. Food is always fresh and they don't go cheap on the meat and always provide enough that you don't feel cheated. Agua Frescas are bomb and food is bomb. Only thing they need to work on is the Salsa. It's pretty lackluster, red isn't spicy, green is salty, and avocado salsa is lacking flavor as well. If they can figure out their salsa game they would be AMAZING. Regardless, I'll be back maybe with my own salsas tho lol

I went the day after they just opened at 10am and ordered tripas. I asked for it crispy and noticed how flabby and pale they looked coming out of the hotel pan. They were on the grill for maybe a couple minutes max. They still looked too soft and just crisped on some parts. I tried eating it and unfortunately I couldn't. It was too hard to chew through because of how soft and rubbery it was and the inside part that got pushed out from me trying to chew was not pleasant because of how long the pieces were. I decided to go later that night for dinner around 9:30 pm and thought to myself if I see it like that again I'm going to ask for it to be on the grill longer. That second time, it was already cooked way more coming out of the hotel pan. They were browned and the pieces were smaller. I still asked for it extra crispy just in case and he cooked it on the grill in less time than in the morning. I tasted a piece by itself and it was exactly what I wanted. Crispy and delicious. So I guess that's just something to look out for if you order the tripas unless you prefer it soft. Besides that, their tacos and plates are reasonably priced for this area. The tortillas are tasty and mulitas with them are amazing. I'm a big fan of Taqueria 2 potrillos since I grew up in MoVal. Actually, the one in MoVal is the first time I ever tried a lot of the other meats like tripas, cabeza, buche, and lengua and why it's normally my go to meat choices now. I was super excited to have one open up near me now since there aren't many places that specialize in tacos on this side of Rancho/Ontario. This location is very nice inside and the decor is cute.

This taco shop is new to the area but has very delicious tacos and aguas frescas also the tortillas are handmade.I had 4 al pastor tacos and 2 asada tacos which were very delicious!!! They also have a big variety of different aguas frescas and I ended up trying the pineapple with guava which was really good!Service is quick and easy to order. This restaurant has a lot of seating inside and also has seating outside. The restaurant is also very clean and has great music! Al pastor tacos are very good!!!!! The guacamole and chips are also delicious!!
