Tacos Puro Jalisco

Goat has always been a particular favorite of mine. If it comes to slow simmer or slow cooker stuff, I prefer it in chilis, stews, pasta sauces, and even in more esoteric stuff like breakfast hash. I might even like it better than plain beef.Goat has this gaminess that gives it great flavor as well as a very pleasant mouthfeel to it, like smooth, silky, and playful. A good goat dish is like a French kiss with your best girl who's feeling just a bit like being a brat that night.Combine that, with the sheer amount Tacos Puro Jalisco puts in its birria burrito made this entree an outstanding example of the craft. This was a perfect burrito to me with the perfect meat and with enough else going on in the beans, rice, and salsa to make every bite outstanding. And yet it was not such a monster burrito to outstay its welcome. I was full at the end of the meal, but not stuffed.The environment was spacious, clean, and the right kind of relaxing. The counter worker was nice and very helpful. I don't have a single aspect I can point to as being the worst part of my meal.But I can definitely point out the best part of meal for sure.The goat.The goat kicked ass, left, and then came back to kick some more ass.

Food - Everything we tried- Chicken,Chorizo, Birreria, Rice & beans, Salsa bar everything was delicious.Price point extremely reasonable.Service - Friendly and helpful Ambiance - Trendy mexican vibeGreat addition to Pomona. Definitely coming back.

My boyfriend and I, came by today to try the menu for the first time! The asada tacos were were delicious! 5 stars for Tacos de asada .I also had a bean & cheese not much beans And cheese wasn't fully melted, flavor was bland 2 stars, My boyfriend had Birria Tacos! He gave it 4 stars. We will definitely be coming here again! The environment was nice and decor was cute. Good prices too!

I came here for my lunch break. I like coming here because of the service. They are fast, ensuring you don't have to wait a long time. Today, I decided to get some birria tacos. The birria was tender and juicy. Plus, the delicious consomé in which you dip the tacos is the greatest combo. Two birria tacos cost $7.00. I also got a taco de buche and a taco de campechana. The tacos were $1.95 each. Those meats were also flavorful and well-cooked. I recommend this place.

Food was AMAZING!Took my son who has never tried birria and he loved it. Drank the consome down to the last drop. We had some quesabirria tacos, asada tacos and some consome.All the food was fresh & delicious. Service was great as well. Definitely worth a visit!(Was so hungry i didnt think to take photos till i had eaten everything)

Lots of meat on the tacos served without onions or cilantro. Which is great! More room for meat. Burritos were good size as well I got a Regular size Asada. Personally I'm not a fan of the beans, they have a different taste then im used to. NOTE: This is my 2nd visit, the first was a disappointment I ordered a chorizo burrito which I assumed would be with egg, my mistake. So I thought beans taste came from chorizo, not so.

I'm giving you guys a 4 1/2 stars. This is for just my dish. Although, I also ordered chicken, chorizo , pastor, quesobirria tacos. I ordered birria combo with no bone. All the sauces at the salsa bar good but wished the purple onion and habanero wash pickled. I will be back because I really like the real goat birria when made well

My husband and I went here early on a Thursday. I saw it was open and new, so we decided to check it out. The restaurant had just opened but the staff were quick to welcome us and ask what we were looking to order. The restaurant was clean and you can see into the kitchen where they were cooking our food. My husband and I both ordered carne asada burritos and they were DELICIOUS. The meat is so flavorful. We tried the green and red salsas. The red has a spicy kick to it and the green one doesn't, so you can choose what you like. I plan on coming back and trying other meats. The prices are great, too!

Very delicious place that doesn't disappoint alway fast service I 1000% recommend it

I came here based on the reviews. I've never been a big fan of goat birria due to it's gamey taste. This birria was good and not really gamey. I also had an al pastor taco and a carne asada burrito. The taco had good flavor. The burrito was a bit dissapointing. It was smaller than most places and loaded with more rice than anything. We went back a second time. This time I had a carne asada torta and it was huge and tasty. The chicken has the best taste so far from the different meats I've tried. Looking forward to trying their chorizo. I will update once I've had it.The service was great. Fast & friendly. We went around dinner time both times so the line was a little long. By the time we got our salsa, condiments and sat down my number was called to pick up our food.
