Tacos La Central

This is authentic experience.And top of that. They will fill up the taco with very generous amount of protein.I was pretty happy with the flavor, it reminded me of the street tacos in TJ. It's nice when you are surrounded with Americanized Mexican restaurants, you get to experience an authentic flavor like this.

The service is terrible when it comes to when you need your order correctly. My husband went to tacos central today after picking up my kids then came to see me at arrowhead and when they open the bags.... Let's just say they got more than half order wrong. We never ask for anything to be put in the tacos mainly we ask meat only everything else on the side. So cilantro, onions, guacamole and salsa is suppose to be on the side also when you ask with everything they give you less meat and more than half of the taco is onions, cilantro, guacamole, salsa and that white cream that I have to idea what it is. I tried calling them to let them know well their wireless phone seems to be not available 510-725-9287 so then what do you do. It's frustrating when they get your order wrong let alone when you have to drive back and go through security again because all you wanted is your order corrected. And when I say security I mean hospital security that checks everyone coming in and out. Not to mention if they will find parking coming back. I don't understand why they don't have a valid phone number for this establishment wouldn't that be part of a requirement to have an active permit as a food vendor. Maybe before closing the order or giving it out to the customer they should verify and show the customer that is what they ordered so then we could move forward and everybody is happy. It always happens when you least expect it.Oh yeah and their tortillas keep getting smaller and smaller

Adobada y Chorizo Portion: good portion, not the smallest tortilla, not the bigger tortillas either but tacos are overflowing with meat! Quality: good quality, meat was juicyTaste: DELICIOUS! I have been wanting to try style tacos for a while, so I was excited that Tacos La Central was en route for our trip. The service was fast and easy. They have a simple menu with meat choices of Steak, Adobada (pork), chicken, and chorizo. The tortillas are made fresh and the tacos are loaded. The staff was friendly and efficient. I rate the staff a 4/5. The food was a 3/5 for me. The meat flavor was good on the adobada, the chicken was nothing memorable, and the steak was a bit of a surprise with the smoky flavor. The salsas were ok. The green avocado salsa barely tasted like avocados, and didn't have much of a flavor. The white sauce on the adobado tacos tasted kind of like mayonnaise, or ranch, which was off-putting. They also did not have drinks other than Coke available at the time we went (which was 2 pm on a Sunday). That was also a bummer as I do not drink that soda.I did ask the employee if they had a spicy salsa, and she gave me a container with a tomato sauce which tasted more like the sauce used on pupusas and not at all spicy. The mulita was loaded with cheese which I did like but the chicken was too bland for me. Overall, I would not mind revisiting this spot, I would however stick to the adobada, bring my own spicy salsa or jalapeño asado, and use the salt they have by the pickup window.

By far the best tacos and mulitas in SoCal. I have come here many times and the food is always delicious. They also have homemade drinks that are really good. Outside dining at picnic tables or to go only.

This restaurant serves medium-sized tortillas packed with plenty of meat. The staff is friendly and quick, the food is super affordable (around $3.25 per taco), and the tacos are fire!

I'm always craving adobada tacos and this is the only spot in the area that has them!The tacos are HUGE!! They put so much meat in each taco. The meat is slightly under seasoned but still pretty good. The salsas do need some workService was quick. I was in and out within 10 mins and this was around lunch time

Some of the best tacos I've ever had. Everything is made fresh daily. High quality meats. Super tender and juicy. Asada is my favorite but all meats are good
