10/10!! This place was very much needed in grand terrace!! Out of all the tacos spots ive been to (which are a lot), this place gets it right every time!! The dorados are a must, the salsas are delicious and they're always so nice and friendly! My husband and I go almost every Friday or Saturday!

Food trucks in the Highgrove / Grand Terrace area are far and few in between. Mostly few. Really few. Really rare. For the past couple of months, tacos ELSY has been parked on the side, serving up a variety meats besides the usual asada, pollo, chorizo, and al pastor, but lengua, tripa, suadero, buche, and cabeza as well. These meats are served up in various ways : tacos, burritos, mulitas, quesadillas, vampiros, taco dorados, alambre, and tortas. There's even papa rellena. They even have aqua frescas available and cold drinks in the ice chest. The service is always friendly, the food come out quickly, and you can have the food to eat there or to go. And on Tuesdays, there's a taco special. They take cash, card or Zelle. They may take other payment plans, but I usually carry cash.

I've seen this taco truck by Sunrise/Vista Chino for a while now. I've seen how busy they get, figured it had to be good. Then, this past Friday night a buddy of mine was bragging about heir food so we headed over! First impressions: this truck and the kitchen are spotless! I can see why they proudly hang their A grade sign. By the time we parked, walked over the people before us left. They quickly cleaned the table. Ordering was fast and easy. I had the el pastor burrito. Probably one of the biggest and best I've ever had. I was stuffed 3/4 of the way into the burrito but kept eating it because it was so flavorful and full of meat! Check them out!

The tacos are tasty and good salsas. The horchata is great. Beware that at night you may encounter bugs from the vacant lot.. The taquero always caters to your request. I always get my pastor tacos well done.

Cheap tacos mid food beans we're horrible not worth the money maybe we went on a bad day

Hands down the best taco spot you will find anywhere and I'm not even being dramatic, go see for yourself. Their salsas are freshly made and have more flavor to them than I thought was even possible. I have had their tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and dorados. I can say personally that they have perfected the flavor in every plate they offer. Their food looks, tastes, and feels authentic and fresh as if all of the ingredients have been acquired that very same day. The overall service is very fast, you won't be waiting long at all to experience such delicious food. They have always been so nice to me whenever I stop by to order. Beware, try it once and you'll be hooked!

Here visiting family stopped on my way back home around 9pm on a Wednesday. They were so nice, talked to me about the menu and what a taco Vampiros is and chatted while I waited only a few minutes for my order. These were delicious! If I lived here I would come back often.
