Apparently this place isn't ... this place? Drove down based on ratings and reviews, but it has a new, temporary name and a very limited menu. Tried a chile verde dinner, and it wasn't bad, but ? Temp name appears to be Carnitas La More. I asked but just got a blank stare, although the woman took my order just fine and used plenty of English to tell me how long it would take. Oh well, I'll keep looking.

Not fresh, Not Satisfying, Not Authentic TasteGood service, small business ambiance but disappointed by food. The menudo was extremely salty and I couldn't enjoy it. The carnitas were good at first but then followed by a very salty sour aftertaste. The meat in the menudo was extremely chewy as well. I was lead here because of the old reviews that were good but I guess it's about time someone leaves an up to date review. If you're looking for fresh, authentic taste and actually SATISFYING Menudo, Carnitas DO NOT DINE HERE! Head hurts after eating here..

I had to make the trek out to this side of the neighborhood recently and found myself craving some carnitas tacos. I searched on Yelp (oh how I love all the good things you've led me to), and stumbled upon this gem. If you can't tell by the name, this restaurant specializes in carnitas, but they do also have other items on the menu such as tortas, burritos, chilaquiles, and more. But of course, I came for the carnitas. I ordered a pound of the carnitas, and for about $16 it came with a red and green salsa, onions and cilantro, pickled onions and jalapeños, and tortillas, a steal right? I KNOW. I have to say, I've had my fair share of carnitas tacos and this is definitely up on the list for me. It's so juicy and delicious! I could totally eat more if my heart could permit. I asked the business how long they've been around, and they said they've been open for about twelve years! Really surprising to see that they only had thirty-eight reviews on the site. Definitely a hole in the wall in the IE that shouldn't be missed.

This place has cucarachas and is disgusting There is a lot of flies. You know what they say when there is a lot of flies it usually means that something is rotten. Avoid this place at all cost.To the owner. I didn't get the wrong business. I didn't write the review the same day I visited your disgusting place. But, if this is how you able to sleep at night pretending your place is not disgusting then be my guest.

Carnitas Tacos Were Super Salty And They Take Like Shredded beef. I'm So Sad ,IT Was Not Good

Location is still open, but has a different name. Food is still great. Their chilaquiles are some of the best I've had.

The best carnitas period. I try other spots and they simply don't compare. I have been coming here since 2010 and will continue to do so.
