I keep wanting to like this place. I've gone a handful of times hoping it'll get better but it doesn't. The taste is very inconsistent. Some days taste better than others. Yesterday I got a carne asada burrito and I'm pretty sure it was like 75% beans. Not a good mixture! And it was cold. I was so excited to see they added chips/salsa to the menu but they keep over cooking them. Their service is good. Cashiers are very friendly. Prep is relatively quick. Place is clean.

I'm going straight to what's bad. The chicken street taco I tried was terrible. It tasted like the chicken should have been thrown out, much less sold to customers. The restaurant was dead when I arrived, so it might have been better to show up when it's busy and their chicken is fresher, but that should never happen anyway. That said, the other tacos were delicious. The place looks like a very nice hole in the wall Mexican spot. The young lady that took my order was kind and helpful in recommending me tacos to try, which were all the delicious ones. It was completely dead when I ordered and it didn't take long for the food to be ready. The prices are in the normal range of just under 5 bucks for their fancy tacos, and just under 3 for their street tacos on a weekend. Everything short of the pollo taco is a 5 star, but they can't miss the most important part of a food business and expect high stars, especially if Taco is in your name. Try at your own risk.

Love the spot, I used to come to this location years ago (before it was Taco Spot and the 2 other restaurants before it) and it was broken down very old looking. The new owners did a really good job remodeling it, the inside is clean and also the bathroom are spotless! My kids got an order of fries which are perfectly cooked, they're almost like McDonald's fries but have a crispier outside. The tacos are a good portion and I had also ordered 2 tostadas de ceviche for myself which were also well portioned and seasoned . I was brought on the side some of their marisco salsa, 2 tostadas , a packet of mayo and crackers. There was enough ceviche from what fell off on the tostadas they came on with that I used both of the tostadas that were given on the side (as you can see from my picture). At the moment they have bottled Mexican sodas and can sodas. They also have refreshing agua de pepino con limón which went great with my ceviche.Definitely coming back and will be trying their botanas!

This place was pretty good. It did not blow me away, but the prices were decent and the food was worthwhile. Clearly the inside has been redone since the new ownership came in, and the aesthetic is basic bet neat and clean.

What a great local restaurant! AND here to show support on #smallbusinesssaturday! I've tried several things on their menu now and the quality of their food is soooooo delicious, especially their seafood items! I can't get over the flavor of their tacos made on a flour tortilla! The staff are very welcoming, the outdoor and indoor areas are nice, clean, and comfy, however, it's sometimes too eerily quiet in the indoor dining area when the music isn't playing. So far, I've been coming weekly and spreading the word about this place. The community definitely needs to come give this spot a try!

I'm giving it a 3 not because the food isn't yummy but because they don't honor their operating hours. In fact they are only open when they want to. Operating hours say Monday - Saturday 10am -9pm. Iv come on a Monday and a Tuesday. Both times I came 3 hours after they were supposed to already be open. No one was there. It's frustrating to drive all the way over to their location for them not to be open when it says they are. And if not. At least put a sign or something. Not good business practice at all.
