Never in 1 million years did I think that I would be at a sushi place this far from home with a name like sushi Miguel's style. And I will tell you what a wonderful surprise it was. I don't know that I've ever been to Moreno Valley in my life. Being an LA girl definitely stay within the confines of my LA food scene but I'm glad I visited this place while I was visiting for a marathon race out at Lake Perris. Food: the sushi was very fresh. We sat at the bar and was assisted by a wonderful sushi chef of Latin descent. He was not only personable, and friendly. He was a wonderful sushi, chef and recommended all kinds of new things that I've never tried and it was fantastic. The place is located in a strip mall and very unassuming so don't be turned off by that. There's lots of room at the bar and also lots of tables. It's very modest. The servers were all very, very friendly and so welcoming. It gets pretty busy, but we were lucky to be able to walk in and get a seat at the bar, but there were lots of people waiting for tables. If you're ever in the area, you gotta check this place out .

I haven't been to this location since my last experience nearly two year prior. However I was in the mood for sushi and decided to give this place another shot. I learned from my last mistake so I ordered to go and did not sit in and eat. When I arrived it seemed like there was only one waitress on duty. Between splitting her time in dinner it took around 5 minuets to be greeted. And another 5 to 10 minuets to bring out my order from the back. The food portions have gone down, however pricing has stayed relatively the same as a few years back. The miso soup tasted more authentic than its prior version which was appreciated. Much less salty which was appreciated. However the cut of beef and overcooked texture was a a bit off putting. The tempura wasn't bad overall However there was very little diversity. I got maybe 2 or 3 broccoli, an onion, and a shrimp. Typically you get a lot more variety which make tempura a nice option when getting a bento box. They also mixed up my dish and and my wife's while packing. I just assumed they didn't give us the correct food until layer we noticed what really happened. The rolls were okay, however, it they were under filled. Most of the roll was deep fried rice. Overall my meal was better this time than last, but still not as good as my initial experiences.

I know it's sushi, but it was too fishy. We left halfway through the first round as a precaution. We were seated immediately upon entering. It is mainly booth seating lining the walls. Service was great of and attention which is why I gave them an extra star. Sushi grade was questionable. It did not taste fresh and tasted and smelt too fishy. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

Miguel's Sushi is a small sushi restaurant in Moreno Valley offering lunch all you can eat (AYCE) for 29.99.Atmosphere Old, dingy, and almost "why would I eat here dirty." Booths were not just worn, but torn apart disgusting with little to no padding. Soy dispensers were dirty, and you are asked if you want ginger and fake wasabi. Food Appetizers were severely limited, with no classic options like salad or even miso soup. You can get miso soup but you have to ask for it. Nigiri Sushi Sushi itself was not bad with a subtitle flavor. The the rice to fish relationship was fine, with plenty of fish for the rice given. Rolls Spider Roll had a very unusual flavor. The soft shell crab was prepared in an unusual way, with some dark brown crust, almost looking burned. The roll itself had an almost sour taste, and did not have the tempera outside list most rainbow rolls. The dragon roll was tasty, but tasted like a more traditional California roll with avocado vs the traditional eel flavor. The baked salmon roll was trying to imitate the traditional philli roll but the cream cheese was way too almost sour, and very little avocado was in the roll. Overall this restaurant had about 1/4 the options of most sushi places. The food was subpar and not worthy of the 29.99 price tag. Will not return. Gross restaurant atmosphere, food left my more wanting to find the nearest restroom than positive sushi memories.Edit:Food Poisoning after meal... I knew something tasted off In the spider roll. Got extremely sick within 3 hours of eating, had to go to urgent care after 3 repeat bouts of losing stomach contents + poor waste removal process, and extensive sweat production. This was the only meal I ate for over 12 hoursWill be reporting restaurant to health department

Upon entering you're immediately greeted by the sushi chefs. The hostess are friendly and accommodating and the food is fresh and delicious. This time I tried their "sushi tostadas" miguel style. Boy have I been missing out!!! I got one tuna and one salmon tostada that was loaded with fresh sashimi, pickled red onions, avocado and chili oil. My taste buds were going crazy! The tostadas were amazing and the other food as well! Great experience and highly recommended!
