Good prices for the amount of food. Many tables. Parking is plentiful. Ambiance is more like a cafeteria but for the price, who really cares? It's clean and you get your food very quickly.

We had a really good time here. Good lemonade, good meatloaf and mashed potatoes. It's very diner style. Even 2.00 desserts. It reminds you of homemade cooking. There's parking and sometimes when it's crowded you have to park across the street. The steak and shrimp was also tasty. They offer a lot of different food ranging from spaghetti to French dip. We will be back to try the rest. Best of all, it's affordable.

Sundowners- family restaurant indeed!This was my first time visiting and it is exactly what you'd expect! It is a family style diner with great items and at awesome price! Most dishes are served with a choice of soup or salad.The service is quick and everyone is super friendly! New owners - there will be a special event on September 16th to celebrate the new ownership!BOGO items that day and other good stuff so go check it out!10/10 will visit again

needs to start to renovate some stuff it's so old and vintage inside! Please make sure the utensils and plates are clean! Every time I go it's dirty and it's not ok! Food is good

Clean no frills family restaurant cafeteria style ordering and pick up reasonable prices by today's prices the steak is flavorful and cooked well great toast and a simple green salad shrimp frozen but fried well and crispy so are steak fries reminds me of steak corral when I was a kid growing up in Whittier area

Super affordable cheap eats! It's a cafeteria style diner where you all line up, order at the counter, get your tray and go down the line with what you want and any extra sides or toppings, and if you want dessert or anything extra.Although there was a decent crowd, the line went by pretty quickly and there was seating available. All the condiments were at the end so you can grab a bottle for your table or use what was already there. We ordered the: 1) Country Fried Steak Lunch Special: -I got this with a side of onion rings, toast, and clam chowder soup. -It also comes with a medium drink. -I'd skip the onion rings since they were just okay and didn't come with a lot. I actually ended up eating the other order's plentiful fries instead. -Toast was good and the country fried steak reminded me of something I'd get back in the cafeteria during elementary school (not that it was bad, but it's not super fancy). Very nostalgic comfort food. -Clam chowder was alright. Mostly soup and not much "clam". Needed a bit of pepper for seasoning. 2) Fish & Chips Lunch Special: -We got this with the clam chowder soup, toast, and beverage. -It's one of the menu items where you can't add extra fries or onions rings to. -Fries are the thick cut steak fries and they were crispy without being too oily. The fried fish filet wasn't bad, but we had to get extra tartar sauce to enjoy it. Overall decent place to get lunch!

Food is usually pretty cheap. Portions are okay. Service is good. Ambiance is family friendly with plenty of tables . Not the best but not the worst food bang for your buck

First visit after the pandemic. Prices gone up for sure. Still ONLY CASH here.Lunch course menu still includes soup or salad and a beverage till 5 pm. Place looks like it's still being renovated. Used to have themed decorations now has walls undecorated. Paint peeling off window sills and walls as well.New upholstery on all the booth dining area and renovated restrooms as well ... but still restrooms' pungent smell lingering in the close by seating area. My family used to celebrate birthdays here before the pandemic. Quality of food not bad at all but not as great as before.Price on the menu board is different from their POS cash register. So confusing especially if you have enough cash for the posted price on their menu.They have an ATM machine for the inconvenience just in case you don't have enough cash.My teriyaki chicken had just an adequate size grilled meat with small scoop rice and a cheese toast slice. I had a bowl of corn chowder and iced tea. $12.99

Refurbished inside, food is good and very reasonable prices, staff are friendly. Buffet style dining.

Been going here for over 30 yrs now. One of the hidden gems in San Bernardino. Great food and a home town feeling when you eat here. Everyone is welcome. Enjoy.
