The restaurant had its struggles during the pandemic with the social distancing and being under expansion construction. It overcame all those issues and is like a butterfly out of its cocoon.The dining room has a 4-star look with a small town feel. When it's not too busy, you can sit wherever you want, booth or table. If you're looking for a job, they have a help wanted sign up which might mean they are under staffed. Although my order of the Rainbow roll and the Albacore spicy roll got to my table in a timely manner.The fish was fresh, rolls made to order and price wasn't too expensive.Tables, chairs, & floors were clean the service was fast and friendly. An overall great sushi (tempura / bento box) restaurant.

I made my sushi rolls order through Yelp (GrubHub). The estimated time to complete my order was inordinately wrong. The order was completed 30 minutes before the estimated time. I received the order at the requested pick-up timed provided by the Sugoi sushi chef. As a result my order was soggy, which is bad for sushi rolls.I think the chef forgot that the customer will eat with their eyes first. My order was sloppy, soggy, and unattractive. This poorly impacted the flavor profile for me. The meal was edible but unappealing. I was expecting a better experience.It is unlikely that I will be a return patron.

Used to be a regular customer, I've been here over 20 times ..... but unfortunately the rolls have gotten so small.The quality went down so sadly I won't be back.

This was the second time I came to the Sugoi Sushi Restaurant in Beaumont, CA. The inside of the Sugoi Sushi is very relaxing as the lights are beautiful,and it has several TV's to watch. The 1st time I came to Sugoi Sushi It took way to long to get my order. This time it was very quick, and the food was delicious and very well made. We had Tiger Roll and Chuncy Roll which was very yummy. I will definitely be going back to Sugoi Sushi again. Check them out !

We came here with some family because it was recommended by friends. We got various appetizers, like gyoza, egg rolls, and the spicy garlic edamame. We got the bento combinations and rolls. Overall, everything was good. The team there was attentive and kind. We spilled a drink and they were gracious about it. We jokingly said someone in our party's birthday it was. They did a lovely birthday dessert for it. We were so appreciative of their kindness. We will be back!

I enjoyed my time at Sugoi sushi. We came in and were sat right away. It's nice and cool in here on a hot day.I felt like the food came out quickly. It did come out weirdly in spurts but it was fine. The sushi rolls were a little different than what I'm used to in terms of how they're made traditionally, they still tasted yummy though. The fish was also fresh.I'm giving four stars because I found it a bit pricey for the kind of sushi it is. I would return though! :)

Friend came down from out of town so we met up half way and was in the mood for sushi and chose this based on what time they close.Just like the rating shows this place is alright. Well at least for our experience.We were both very hungry so everything looked good but wanted to try things we would think were safe bets. Spicy edamame. Wouldn't get again. They put on this paste and the flavor is blah. Still finished it though but thought there would be more compared to other places.Jalapeño poppers, we're good. So really quick I don't know if we took too long to start eating or if it was the fact the restaurant is a cooler temperature and it was cold outside.But both the edamame and jalapeños got cold quick .There were only two servers and both were just quick to take your or just get whatever you need done and quickly. So not much guest service. I understand it's only you two and I use to work in the food industry as a a server so understand when you are short staffed.Either way red dragon roll was pretty good. I tore it up very quickly, granted all three dishes we got we shared . Oh yeah the hot tea we didn't care for, it tasted like it was burnt or had been sitting there. But it was still hot. So they have quite a menu with different options which is a good selection. So it might have been an off night but the experience and food was alright.The inside is nice and spacious. Place seems well kept but the bathroom smelled, when I just went in there to wash my hands.All in all it was alright. We both live in opposite directions, so can't imagine a reason to be in this area, and for whatever reason we happen to be. Probably just go somewhere else.

This restaurant is a sleeper spot off Oak Valley. I found the food very good. Quick service. The restaurant looks dark from the outside but when I stepped inside from the bright sunny parking lot i understood why. Very good and I will be back.

At the time of writing this review the place has gone under new management and they are currently doing a Grand Opening month special. Great service, food was amazing and the vibe was fine. I have been to many sushi places around Redlands, Loma Linda, San Bernardino and Ontario. This place is definitely one of the better ones.The dishes I ordered to get such a review was Popcorn Lobster Roll, Sushi Burritos, Miso Soup and Rainbow Roll. All were fresh and great quality. All of the food items were great and I plan on making this my go to sushi place unless something changes drastically.
