Omg. I don't know what they do to prepare those steaks, but you haven't had a true steak until you have eaten here. Been a great restaurant and place to go for 20 something years. Love it. Can never go wrong.

The only reason for the 4 stars is the hostess who checked on us and helped the server. Must have: Sampler appetizer is a must. Potato skins are hefty and cheesy, onion rings are crispy and zucchini are delicious. Glad I tried it and/but: Fried cod had a good fish to batter ratio but I wish there were three pieces. The ribs were good for oven ribs.Meh: bacon burger was dryyyyyyy and there should not be a charge for a loaded potato. The worst was our server - he was busy checking on the table next to us that we had to flag him down several times. Napkins? Had to ask for them. The hostess Alexa was the saving grace in clearing dishes and asking how we were doing.

We were here for a going away party for one of our friends, who has worked at March ARB for a long time; hubby used to work him. We were in a big room but still not big enough to accommodate the huge party! My husband and I arrived at 11:11 AM and they were still closed although they list their hours at opening at 11:00 AM. Luckily, a waitress let us in and knew we were there for a reserved party for our friend.They really need to air out the building because it smelled really stale and of bleach.Our food was really tasty & filling. They were only 2 servers for approximately a group of 30-35 people, so we never got refills on our drinks nor did they check up on us.At least their food was an improvement from last time and no sewer smell!Highly doubt we will return unless it's a retirement or going away. If I were retiring this place would not be on the list!

This was probably the worst dinning experience I have ever had in a long time. The place is old and dingy but the bathrooms are clean. The service was horrible the girl only came up to us twice once to take our order the other to drop off the food. We had to get up and find some to help us pay and when we asked where do we pay she had such an attitude and was just not friendly at all. I told our waitress we had never been and she didn't recommend or offer any suggestions. The food did come out fast but it was mediocre at best. We came because the reviews are good and the place was close to us. Definitely not going back.

I do always enjoy their appetizers. This time we got the onion rings are they were great. My steak was medium rare and cooked perfectly. The Cod was also really good. Service was great and on point. Very helpful and attentive.

Service was great, the sampler platter was delicious as well. But unfortunately my stockyard steak seemed to lack seasoning. It tasted as if it was just thrown on the pan with no salt or pepper. I never eat my steak with steak sauce because it takes away from the taste of the steak. But with this steak is was mandatory to mask the odd taste of the steak.

I've been coming here for years! Their food is always hot, fresh, and delicious! Service is great even when it's busy. The ambiance is definitely a steak house with an old western feel to it. If you're looking for the coldest beer in town, you've definitely found the right spot. Try a Stein of beer paired with a Super Stockyard steak, a loaded baked potato, and a house salad with the chipotle ranch dressing. Amazing!

We were in the area and decided to come here for lunch. Our server was cordial but service could have been quicker initially. As this is an old fashioned family steakhouse I went in with somewhat lower expectations and they were exceeded. In fact all of the food was quite good and prices were fair. Ambiance was suitably American/country.

I'd been hearing good things about this restaurant, I finally tried it after a year of trying to make it in and I have to say the food was very tasty and the portions are big. I wish the place was a bit brighter inside but it is very cozy because it's an older steak house with older decor, I also wish they had a host the day I went. I waited to be seated for a while because all the waiters were busy and I did not know if I could just seat myself as I did not see a sign saying so either. This place would do great if they stayed open later, there aren't many great non chain restaurants out here in MoVal.

Me, my wife and family have been coming here for many years. We believe this is one of the best places to have a good meal, a good steak. Of coarse someone will always have a complaint about one thing or another at any restaurant. Things aren't perfect every time we go but it's a good place for us. 90 times out of a hundred we will enjoy being here. Things happen at different times of the year for what ever reason and we know they do their best to help. Sure, they have new hires and they make mistakes but that happens everywhere. We will keep going back there, that's for sure.
