Spirit Of Texas Craft BBQ

The whole staff was friendly and patient. They gave small samples of the meats they serve and that helped narrow down choices. Everything was delicious, even the dessert.It looks like a small restaurant but they have plenty of room and what looks like a bigger party room. The ambience of the place was cozy.They have multiple locations and I chose the San Bernardino one since that is closer to me.

Oh man great BBQ here. I did a platter of brisket, beef sausages and ribs with green beans with turkey meat and BBQ beans. Everything simply delicious. I came on a friday evening around 4pm and a couple of families inside. They have a nice size parking in the back area and you can enter through the back door which i didn't know. This was some of the best BBQ i had in the california and there is not many from LA where i'm at. The brisket was moist and the ribs were very flavorful and the sausage was super good and my favorite of the bunch! The green beans and BBQ beans tasted good also! A overall great experience and they're bbq sauce is really good. My platter was half pound of each meat items for $50 bucks total. You want good BBQ in riverside this is the place! Moving back from LA (land of the foodies lol)I was sad to say goodbye to all my favorite food spots. Finding Spirit of Texas bbq has been nothing short of delightful. Service is excellent and knowledgeable on all meat types . And the food is literally better than my favorite bbq place in Los Angeles. The meat is TENDER & JUICY!!!! A little pricy but worth every dollar. Meat 10/10 (Brisket was my favorite)Macaroni 7/10 Banana pudding 10/10Sweet Potatoes 10/10 (almost as good as my granny's)Personally I think it's better than Grams & Hotlanta

Wow!! I had jury duty and was looking for something close by and this popped up! The flavor of the bbq sauce is sweet and Smokey and just delicious. I wish they had more plate options to make ordering a little easier. I got the rib tips plate and there was a lot of meat. I got baked beans for my side and they were the best I've ever had. Big chunks of meat and the beans have a sweet and spicy flavor (not too hot), they were perfect. I also got the banana pudding and it was so good, big pieces of fresh banana and soft cookie on top. Highly recommend this place!

Very good barbecue. The hot bbq sauce had the rite amount of bite. Service was quick and upbeat. It's not crowded like the SB location but I believe that will change in time

My first time here loved it !!! Very good and homemade taste trip tip was my favorite and the potatoe wedges corn bread everything is so yummy . Great costumer service the girls are so friendly and helpful

That rib-tip sandwich!! Very tender and the barbeque was perfect!! The slaw with it was perfect‍

I've driven by Spirit of Texas down town IE location and have wanted to give them a try. A couple of days ago I decided to try it. For my first visit I wanted to go with the rib tips plate and peach cobbler. I found out that peach cobbler is only served on weekends and I came on a week day. Darn, but reason for me to come back right? As for the rib tips plate it was cooked well and at least I can say for the portion I got it was plentiful. I'm not sure if it was because it was closing time or not. BBQ sauce was on point and so was the cook of the ribs. Perfectly cooked with a little taste of the smoky taste to it. Mac & Cheese was on point also. I do like that they have stubborn sodas which is a natural soda made with real sugar. I feel like in the great IE bbq is hit and miss. To this day there has been only one bbq place that I recommend outside of commercial chains and that is Badlands BBQ. Overall I feel like Spirit of Texas is just about on that level with some of the best bbq spots. Though it's not my favorite spot, it's still worth coming back to again and again.

Amazing meats ! The sides were tasty but I was a little disappointed because they were at best lukewarm

My family and I have been to this location a few times and it's some of the best BBQ we've ever had. Even the sides are delicious.They are always kind to our kids too. Give them a shot!
