We came in on a Friday night with a group of 8, we got lucky to beat everyone there because there was no wait but the wait sure accumulate as we ordered .The edemame 1/5 - served cold and flavorless - very disappointed Tuna on wonton 5/5- flavorful, fresh , crunchy and spicy! Loved it! Garlic noodles 5/5 good size serving for 1 with great flavor and texture. Veggie gyoza 5/5 cooked to perfection The drinks were AMAZING! Not sure they had alcohol tho! Highly recommend.

Found this place on yelp cause it's the closest to where we were. When we walked in, they didn't ask us if we wanted bbq options. Apparently if you do, you need to tell them so they can sit you at the bar since they only have one table with a grill. The bbq meat for 2 people were a good size for me and my husband. It comes with salads and rice. Pretty filling for $34/pp. My kids ordered tonkotsu ramen and it was a little hit on the salty side. Noodles were good and decent amount. Love their pork belly. It was meaty and lean and chunky. Street corn was cold but had an interesting texture. Like it was covered in rice crispy. If you're hungry, don't come here and expect quick service. It is super slow. Everything was just slow. We were seated for 20 min before they come and took our order. And also that was after we told them we wanted bbq and they had to move us to the bar. If their service improves, I might come back.

LukewarmThe only way to describe my third visit in an attempt to redeem my review for this location. I arrive and since it's seating for only one I get my spot right away. Not me thinking I'll be served immediately. I get to order after letting the waitresses know twice I'm ready until 15-20min after seating. No drink, no appetizers, nothing. I order my miso soup, rice bowl and gyozas with just a water to start. They bring all the items at the same time, but they're practically cold. I don't know how long they've been sitting there but even the spicy soup broth wasn't hot temperature. The gyozas were lukewarm. Cold once dipped in the sauce. The rice bowl was cold and dry. I mean, after a hell of a week I just wanted something to warm my soul. Don't get me wrong. The food has flavor. The place is cute. The vibe gives date night or professional after work dinner. Service has a lot missing. They don't have priorities straight and people end up paying for it. The costumers do. I can't convince myself to return.

I came here one afternoon on the weekend to try something new in the area. The ramen is quite decent, a bit salty, but the portion size is pretty small for its price. Service is quick and the staff are pretty nice. Really nice layout of the restaurant. Overall I would probably return to try other things such as the drinks and the bbq but I wouldn't 100% recommend the ramen.

This was the second time trying out the ramen. Being that it was a cold and drizzly night, we really looked forward to having a steaming hot bowl of noodle soup. The indoor dining was a bit hectic for a Saturday evening at dinner time. Plus, many of the tables were full so we opted to dine outside on the patio seating. We ordered using the QR code sticker on the tables. Super easy. Got the blistered shishito pepper appetizer, one hot green tea w/ honey, a bowl of the creamy tonkatsu ramen, and a bowl of the white miso garlic shrimp ramen with added poached egg. The server came outside with our waters (no ice) and my cup of green tea. They unfortunately didn't have honey so I drank my lukewarm Yamamotoyama green tea as-is. The shishito appetizer had nice flavor to it, enhanced with yuzu or some other citrus and salt flakes. Plenty in the bowl to share between two people. Our arrived after 10-15 minutes from ordering. They looked really, really delicious. Good amount of toppings and soup to noodle ratio. The flavor of the broth was thick and creamy. Good balance of salt and umami too. Surprisingly though, the soup came out warm, rather than steaming hot. I am guessing it may have to do with how the noodles are cooked. If they put too hot of broth then the noodles get overcooked? Regardless, maybe offer the choice of noodle hardness so folks who want hot broth with their noodles can still enjoy it that way too. My husband enjoyed his ramen but also wished it could have been served hotter. I also enjoyed the ramen despite the lukewarm broth and badly poached egg. All in all, if we need a quick ramen fix, this location satisfies the craving for tonkatsu ramen.

I posted on Google review but had forgotten to update Yelp. This is for my visit back some time ago:We've been here several times before with no issue. But, customer service was replaced with their "order and pay with your phone" system. It used to be really personable and the staff were friendly. Now, it's very transactional with little interaction with people. If I wanted to place my own order and pay on my phone, I would've ordered to-go. I tipped out of obligation; it really belongs to the cooking staff.4 stars food1 star service

The restaurant location doesn't have an assigned parking. You might try your luck to get a curb parking but there's the corner plaza parking lot and will be a short walk crossing the railroad track. We were warmly greeted by Kelsey who was also our server."""You get a chashu pork bao free for a yelp checkin. """"We just made it in time for their weekdays Happy Hour from 2 - 5 pm.From the happy hour BITES menu we had the Japanese Corn and Tempura Shrimp. The mini cobs of corn were coated with spicy mayo, eel sauce , togarashi seasoning and topped with tempura flakes that looked like rice krispies. The 3 pieces of Tempura Shrimps were flavorful, crispy battered and with tender shrimp, served with a dipping tangy spicy sauce. We liked the Shaved Ribeye Bao consist of taco like steamed bun which had a generous amount of meat filling and topped chopped green onions and sauce. The Chashu Pork Bao also is a steamed taco bun with generous filling of sliced pieces of pork belly topped with pickled red cabbage and drizzled kewpie!!Hubby and I just shared a ramen bowl of their Tru Black Garlic which consisted of the creamy tonkotsu broth, the noodle, 2 slices of pork chashu, shredded kikurage mushooms, chopped green onion, and a half of soft boiled egg.We were so full that dessert was for the next visit for sure. There's a chance to try their Japanese BBQ next visit. They have Neutral Gender Restrooms which was very clean.

My family and I came for dinner and I just wanna say our server Stephanie provided amazing service! She was so helpful when coming to the menu. One thing that did not sit at ease with me is that while we were waiting for our food, I overheard the chief slamming the small black trays down when placing them on the counter and he said "everything on the side" while shaking his head. Um excuse me, if I am paying for my dinner and I want things on the side that should not be your problem to comment on especially so loud when I can hear you. It just sucks I experienced this since I've never had a bad experience here and I always recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends.

Came here on a Thursday for lunch. Place was decently occupied for middle of the day. There was music, but quiet so we could actually hear each other talking. The ramen was excellent. Surprisingly really good for the face that I did not see a single Japanese person in the kitchen. I also had chicken bao which was also really good. Server was great. She was by herself, but did her best to cater to everyone. Would definitely come back here
