This hangout spot features a full bar with an outside seating looking at Snow Summit, and a warm indoor seating that wasn't too difficult to find a table. Now after a few runs down the center routes, this ends up being the meetup spot with my group. Set a time and grab the first table as soon as possible, and organize someone else to start waiting in line for the food. The line wraps to the side and after a decent wait the cooks grilled up my orders at the Big Bear Burger Co. The pieces are huge, the patty fully cooked and served with light veggies, while the $6 hot dog will make you question you could have made this yourself. But if you can wait for one of the corner indoor tables with the gorgeous window view of Big Bear, then this is the best spot to relax for a moment apres-ski as you enjoy the view with water from the bar to keep you hydrated! The view was so much better than the food that I forgot to snap a photo of it, but I'll be sure to stop here next time I'm back at Snow Summit.

Reasonably priced drinks, fast and quick service, and excellent location. I got the chair 2(?) Paloma. fire. Tried my friends Moscow mules and loved how gingery it was. Would def come back here for a few pre-skii drinks again. shoutout to the bartenders!

Definitely a great place to stop at and grab a bite whenever you're at Snow Summit. Now I don't know about you, but after a long day of snowboarding and skiing, your girl is definitely ready for a DRINK! Slopeside Speakeasy is tucked up above a set of the most treacherous stairs (I mean, who wants to continue climbing when they just finished a serious leg workout?!) so if you're ready to brave the heights then it is definitely worth it.Slopeside has an outdoor patio and an indoor dining area. Since it was raining heavily on our visit, we opted to sit indoors and warm ourselves with cocktails. Slopeside is well-known for their extra spicy bloody marys, so if you're into that then even ordering their house vodka is well worth the price of $12.50.I, myself, am a whiskey girl so I ordered a house whiskey ginger for the low price of $8.50 and it was definitely a heavy pour over 2 oz. Since you've probably worked up an appetite, there is also an option for dining here. We ordered the chicken tenders and french fries for $9.50, chili cheese fries for $8, and a slice of pepperoni pizza for $7. The prices aren't terrible and the portions are well within the cost but definitely choose the biggest slice of pizza to justify the purchase! One thing I liked was that they had a self-serve condiment station and fountain machine. Nothing quite like filling up on as many ranch cups and soda drinks to fill 'er up!Overall, would definitely return here if I found myself at Snow Summit again. Hoping that the next time I go, it'll be much more animated since the weather was less than kind to us.(34/100--2019)

What a great place to have lunch and a beer after skiing! There is indoor and outdoor patio seating available. The menu options are limited and not particularly healthy, other than a premade Cesar salad, but the burgers and fries, pizza, hot dogs and chicken tenders should satisfy most. There is a full bar and a decent selection of beers on tap. The outdoor patio is a great spot to kick back in the sun.

Kind of sad when a awesome place like this is ruined by a bartender by the name of "A....". This place would have been a solid 4 star with the great hazy IPA and fantastic servers. It's only when the hazy ipa outside on the patio that cost $9 all morning became $10 inside. Thought it may have been an inside surcharge so I ordered another from the same server from the patio outside....still $9 inside. And of course I asked out of curiosity and the bartender by the name of "A......" felt it was appropriate to throw out a sarcastic comment along the lines of "...$9? Maybe the Coors Light?" It's a dollar and yes, it's sad. Considering I tipped the server $5 per beer on the patio just because she was so awesome, truly great things comes to those who are genuine and honest. Keep the extra $1 Ms. A...bartender. You deserve it.

Big Bear Snow Summit restaurant/bar at the bottom of Chairs 2 and 11. Best part is the big outdoor patio, perfect for resting, people-watching, or having an adult beverage and a bite to eat. Menu is pretty limited - mostly burgers (really good), pizza (not so good - kind of school cafeteria-like), hot dogs, chicken tenders and curly fries. My daughter and I split a double burger, and it really hit the spot. They have an outside burger grill on the side, too.

After spending over $400 in two days at Snow Summit resort, the interaction I had with multiple representatives of this company at the Slopeside Bar and Restaurant have soured me from ever spending another dollar at any Mammoth Resorts property again.Near the end of the day yesterday afternoon (Sunday, January 10th) I was standing at the outdoor bar of Slopeside with a drink I had ordered, watching the Packers vs Redskins NFL wildcard game. 2:45 remained in the second half of a close game. Being the end of the day on a Sunday, there were not very many people left on the deck or at the bar ordering drinks. Nevertheless, one of the bartenders singled me out as being an unwelcome patron. I was asked to move down the bar to allow more room for people to order, regardless of the fact that I was not blocking anyone from ordering, and that there was plenty of room on either side of me for customers to place their orders.Apparently, my change of position at the bar was not good enough for this bartender, because he then told me that I was not allowed to stand at the bar at all and watch the bar television.I'll repeat that to make sure there is no confusion - the bartender told a paying customer that he is not allowed to watch the television at the bar. This is where I had my first verbal interaction with the bartender: I expressed my incredulity at his instructions along with my intent to continue watching the game that now had less than 2 minutes left in the half, at which point I'd be leaving to have one last run down the mountain. His response to this was that I needed to either leave or he would be calling security and have me removed. Even more stunned by this than the original order to stop watching the television, I asked him to please call security because I had done nothing to warrant this harassment.Security of course did not appear immediately, so I continued to watch the NFL game until the Packers scored and the half ended, at which point I left the bar area to grab my gear. Security representatives were now on the deck and confronted me in response to the bartender reports. I explained the situation as I have above, and received apologies from both members of the security staff and a promise that the poor customer service would be addressed.Fast forward 30 minutes to when I rejoin my friends at the same table by the outdoor bar: I'm now told by multiple bartenders that security has ordered me not to be served nor am I allowed to even be by the bar. No explanation is given for why this edict has beenenforced, nor is there anyone from security present to explain, let alone verify that this is actually valid. So I comply, step back 3 feet from the bar and continue to watch the game when the final indignity occurs: the bartender who initially had such a problem with my presence goes to the other side of the bar, grabs the TV remote, and changes the NFL playoff game to women's basketball, all so that I would not be allowed to watch the game.Bravo Mammoth Resorts / Snow Summit customer service! You have alienated a paying customer from ever patronizing your resorts again, and who will also now actively encourage people NOT to spend money on your properties.TL;DR: Harrassed by bartender and barred from watching TV at the Slopside Bar due to the grievous error of standing at a bar with my drink.

Nice outdoor bar at the bottom of Chair 2 and 11. Full bar, but we stuck to beer. Lagunitas IPA and Firestone DBA were about $8 for a 16 oz. cup. Can get busy on holidays, as expected. Indoor and outdoor patio seating available, and there are options inside for pizza, chicken wings and fish and chips inside at the Pine Place Pizzeria.
