Skate Express

Recently visited Skate Express for my aunt's 80th birthday and had an amazing time. It's been ages since we've been here and since we've gone skating so this was a memorable event. The place was rented out for 2 hours of skating with our family and we all had a blast getting back into it and skating around to old school jams. I would HIGHLY recommend this for a fun experience with friends or family. The staff were all very nice and helped us with selecting skates and the DJ was spinning the best tunes to skate to from the 60's, 70's, 80's and some nineties. I definitely want to go back as not only was this a fun experience it was also a great way to exercise! I'm nowhere near as good as I was when I was younger, but I'm willing to go back out and try it again just to get some exercise in that isn't walking, running or the gym. Thank you to Skate Express for a memorable birthday party with family!

People were really fun, the DJ was playing fun music. Looks the same as it did 30 years ago when I was in jr high with is pretty nostalgic.I really wish they'd fix the rink, looks like it's coming apart on the outside where the majority of the people skate. It could be pretty dangerous and it looks bad.

I had a really great time with the family at Skate Express during Friday family time. It was awesome to see all age groups represented, and it brought back fond memories of going to Skate Junction in West Covina as a kid. The place still has that same fun vibe, even though it's a little dated--but honestly, that's part of the charm. One thing I think they could improve is offering a price for people who aren't skating like half price. Also, they really need to keep a better eye on the high school kids who skate very dangerously and knock people over. The skate guards seem to be more focused on having fun and skating themselves rather than keeping things safe. With all that said, I'll definitely be back twice a month and might even try adult night!

The perfect place for beginners and/or people who like a much less crowded rink. I went here with some friends during all ages skate time and we all had a great time even though it's been years since any of us had been skating. The lighting isn't exactly the most cinematic, but maybe that's because we didn't go on adult night lol. I didn't check out the arcade or snack bar too much because I was on the rink the whole night.

I took my grandchildren here and was very disappointed. I drove from Culver City and when we arrived it was a true disappointment as the place was very dated, customer service was awful. I gave them three stars as the kids had fun, but they have said they don't want go back.

This place gets worse and worse the floor is horrible you can barely skate... the dj was so rude... the older men more experienced skaters didn't give a crap about the kids just kept going fast and knocking over kids the workers didn't say anything to them because they were friends with the DJ ...the food was gross and took forever just to get one slice of pizza.. ya this is a no for us now..

Had a really great time with the family. We went during the day and there were all age groups represented. It's Just as fun as I remember when I was a kid.

We came for the pre NYE R&B night (12/30) & had a blast! It was a 21+ night. The music was great, nice mature crowd, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I wish the concession stand was open for refreshments, but there was a food truck outside, and you're allowed to go in & out for food/drinks. I've been coming here since I was younger, and it's still a good time! We will definitely be returning! Thanks for a great family skate night!

Went with my grandbaby had a blast brought back great memories, and we even did the hokey Pokey

Amazing place to host parties have fun and have a great laugh and they have so many events that your gonna wanna go back all the time
