Silver Dollar Pancake House

The Biscuits & Gravy were absolutely delicious paired with a generous amount of bacon, hash and overhard eggs. My husband ordered the corned beef and hash with a side of super soft pancakes. No complaints with customer service. They checked in frequently and made sure to keep our coffee filled. The place is small and gets super crowded on the weekends. The decor is very vintage looking diner vibes. I'll be back again for sure!

First time for me here, Jennifer our server was super nice and attentive. I loved her personality and felt like a friend! She made our sunday breakfast very pleasant.She got my order right with my questions and extra things i wanted.We got the banana pancakes. They are huge!Food was delicious.I would come here again.

My husband and I had breskfast here this morning. I had eggs, hashbrowns, sausage and toast. My husband had the special, eggs and pancakes. The pancakes came a golden brown, but were not cooked all the way through. We sent them back expressing they we a bit doughy in the middle. We actually were done eating when the second batch came back. They were dark brown (almost burnt) on the outside, but my husband buttered them and took a bite. These were also uncooked in the middle. When we told our server, she took them back and returned to our table with this statement from the owner " the pancakes are perfect! I've been doing this for 35 years And I know what I'm doing!"A bit bitchy I would say... I have owned a restaurant, my deceased in-laws and family, owned numerous restaurants. I can tell you this... No chef or cook can produce every meal served to perfection every time!! Impossible! I don't care how irrigant and self righteous you are. He also said " go ahead and complain on Yelp, I have more compliments than complaints, I don't care what you say!"I'm just putting this out there because I'm sure I'm not the only customer that will eat and pay for food not up to our standards. May he have 35 more years cooking sub-standard pancakes for customers who will eat whatever is placed in front of them... It just wont be this customer! I'll go to Betty Faye's were the food and service is on a much higher scale!

This little gem in Corona is a must when craving breakfast. The service is top notch. Every server helps each other and checks on every guest. Smiles and great personalities all around. I ordered the Monte Christo. It was filled with plenty of deli slices and cheese. The bread wasn't too oily or over fried. A nice balance of ingredients. My family ordered omelets, hash browns, eggs, pancakes, bacon and everything in between. Everything was cooked to perfection.Overall, a great old school vibe. Established in 1922 and still serving up delicious food with great service. I love this spot!!!

Very busy and sometimes a bit of a wait. Food was very good, I had pancakes and bacon. I like that it reminds me of the old restaurants that had counter seating and great coffee. We sat at a table but had to share the other side of table with someone else. I must say the coffee was so good and cup never got empty. They have so many choices of pancakes and waffles over 90 I believe.

Big portions, come out hot and tasty. Oldest restaurant in Corona, lots of regulars. Wait was long for food.

I was looking for amazing traditional American breakfast restaurants. Because I was so craving after seeing the movie, Pulp fiction. Lol. This spot was the one. The pancakes are so good, also the sets too. My husband ordered egg scrambled, which was also good either way. The server was nice too. Will be back when I'm craving for traditional American breakfast restaurants.

Went here on a morning when I was out and about running errands and responding to emails. I mention this because I sat at the bar for service and I was grateful for the balance between attentiveness and space the server provided to me. She made sure I had what I needed including refilling my coffee and bringing me water.The food did not take long to arrive after I placed the order. The servers were all friendly toward customers and the overall ambiance was homey and pleasant. I'd recommend this place, especially for their specials. Pop in here if you're ever in the Corona area. Definitely worth the detour off the highway.

Tried Silver Dollar on a yelp-whim and was not disappointed. Servers were very attentive, food was delicious, plates were big, and it had an old diner feel. Definitely checked all the boxes for a great breakfast and brunch spot.

Been coming here since the late 1950's but as I don't live in the area anymore not very often. The service has not changed 10 stars.. food 20 stars. Only place for pancakes I have ever been that I don't bother with the syrup. They are that good. If you order something a certain way you get it that way... That seems to be rare anymore. It's a breakfast and lunch place and is something that I look forward to going to when I come back. The friendly people that work there never changes and I always expect to tip high when I go. Ambience is like a 1950 pancake House and that never changes either. I had waffles with strawberries today. Don't think I ever ordered it before but think, have tried everything and was never unhappy.
