Shrimp Shack Cajun Fusion

I've eaten at the haven city location in Rancho Cucamonga and love it there so I couldn't help myself from choosing this place to eat at in the Riverside Food Lab dining hall.Service was quick and friendly. The shrimp tacos were packed with shrimp and so yummy. The Mac and cheese was creamy with a hint garlic in their sauce. The one difference that the Rancho location does not have are the beignets. Or at least I've never noticed them on the menu before.The beignets are heavenly! Better than Disneyland's by far. There's actually airy dough inside that makes for the perfect fluffiness. I added caramel sauce for $1 and they give you plenty, it was so good with the beignets!

Closes at 11pm stops serving food 30 mins before. Won't be back guess they could careless about making $$$ Won't attempt coming back.

Located in the Riverside food lab, Shrimp shack is not too bad for fast food cajun fare. But they really should take the "fast" part more to heart. The wait time here is like 25 minutes. It's a slow as molasses service from this kitchen. The shrimp po boy was decent. But i have enjoyed way better in Louisiana. Ok i get it, this is not the Parkview Diner or Mother's in NOLA. I should manage my expectations and so should you.No recommendation, decide for yourself.

We just went for dessert, but WOW. We were gobsmacked by the beignets, very hit and covered in powdered sugar. The dipping sauce is just $1 for a large portion, and it was warmed as well (we had chocolate but they offer caramel and strawberry as well). Four large beignets were perfect for two of us, and we can't wait to try the other dipping sauces!We were sitting in Foodlab area and appreciated the pager they gave us to alert when our order was ready.

I ordered garlic shrimp noodles, they were ok wish there were more shrimp it was all noodles. I also ordered beignets, the dough was tough as you bite into it. I ordered beignets my first time here and had same experience. This is my 2nd time eating here.

I really love this place in Haven City Market, so I was super excited to check out their spot in Riv Food Lab. I went there with a friend, and since we were starving, we decided to order a bunch of stuff to share: a bag of shrimp, some popcorn shrimp, butterfly shrimp, and we couldn't resist getting beignets for dessert. The seafood was amazing, but the beignets were just okay; the chocolate sauce was kinda runny. Oh, and be ready to wait a bit for your order!

Parking: There's paid parking in the structure behind the buildingAmbience: Love Riverside Food Lab--always plenty of options and good amount of seating available. It does tend to be fairly hot though, especially in the summer :/Service: Friendly! They give you a buzzer to take with you to your seats so you can just pick up your order when it's ready.Taste: Ordered the cajun garlic fries as I wasn't very hungry, so can't speak to any of the actual main entrees, but they were great! Perfect combination of cajun and garlic flavors, and the portion was fairly generous considering the price.

Came here to check out their new location.Food is as great as I remembered it! I got the shrimp and grits. The grits are super flavorful and not bland. It is topped with a Cajun sauce that has a lot of flavors from the spices, peppers, onions and chunks of sausage. It also comes with a generous portion of shrimp.Also ordered the Cajun shrimp rice dish which comes with an egg, whatever style you like!You also have to check out the fresh squeezed lemonade, you can tell that it is fresh. Has just the right balance of sour and sweet for a hot day. Service was fast and workers were helpful! Located in the busy food lab in Riverside with lots of other options to choose from.

Just got the shrimp basket and it's ok. A bit lacking in taste but definitely crunchy. Opted not to have fries with it.

Everyone needs to come check this spot at least one time! This is my go to spot when I'm around town. The po'boy is amazing and yummy! The food here is fresh and fast with their service. Overall best place to eat at when in the food hall. Had to order again to take another one to go!
