Shrimp Shack Cajun Fusion - Rancho Cucamonga

My friend ordered their butterfly shrimp basket. We saw they had signs indicating beignets even though their menu didn't have the option or price! The menu specifically lists mostly seafood, specifically shrimp. They seem clean and since the kitchen is open to view, they were not busy at the time we looked over. I must say their fries are well seasoned, crispy, and still crispy after waiting 15minutes to dig in. Shrimp was super crispy, their dipping sauce is mild spice and some might say not spicy at all. They gave us a try for the basket which is nice to hold all the other foods we ordered together.

I've visited Shrimp Shack Cajun Fusion at Haven City Market multiple times, and this is my first review. The food is consistently good, with my favorites being the Shrimp N' Cajun Garlic Noodles and the fish tacos. During my recent visit, I tried the Fish N' Chips; the fries were enjoyable, but the fish was average. Everything is cooked fresh to order, which I appreciate, even if it means a 12-15 minute wait for hot food. The employees are usually nice. Located in Haven City Market, there's usually ample seating, and the area is clean. They also have outdoor seating nearby. I'm looking forward to returning for the fish tacos and trying their beignets next time.

Had two shrimp tacos & an order of butterfly shrimp and chips. Shrimp tacos lacked flavor and tasted like watered down coleslaw. The butterfly shrimp were way over-battered and also lacked flavor. The texture wasn't it. Watermelon margarita was also good. Cajun fries were really good. Won't likely return.

The food here is absolutely amazing and the service has always been stellar. I usually get the kickin Cajun Mac and cheese which is delicious and add sausage to it.

Located in haven city market in the far right hand corner. Head straight back and turn right. It'll be in the center section on the corner next to Jojo Taiwan. Service was straight and to the point. Takes some added minutes for your order but worth the wait. Excellent shrimp tacos! Flavor packed with every bite. Easy to share but also easy to devour yourself. Among the eateries at haven city this one would be a great choice for a flavor packed bite. Restrooms are towards the back wall with blue signage where to turn can't miss it. Parking is always available in the large lot. Outdoor patio area with live music on Fridays, bench seating and corn hole toss. Indoor tables dispersed throughout the venue or there's a large area in the back with plenty of round tables for larger groups.

I kind of adore shrimp boils and I was worried that a food hall version of one would not pass muster. But Shrimp Shack passes with flying colors.The hot peeled shrimp was sufficiently spicy, succulent, and had flavor oozing out of every pore. 1 lb was almost too little because the entree left me wanting more. I'm always in that twilight zone of still being hungry with 1 lb. and feeling stuffed at 1 1/2 lb.I would do this place again, especially if the add crawfish or lobster to the menu. That would be the perfect bucket to put together for me.

My go to Cajun shrimp place in IE. The 1lb whole shrimp is my favorite. Adding some garlic noodles. Delicious make sure call ahead of the time to save time.

When I went to Haven City Market for a Yelp Elite event, I knew I had to go back but this time with my whole family. I enjoy the cool vibes, music, and the variety of cuisines this place offers. I was craving for shrimp and something garlicky, and this place had what I wanted. I ordered the shrimp and grits and Cajun garlic noodles. They were delicious! Note: The grits alone were bland and shrimp with sauce was a little salty, but when mixed together, it was just right for me--so delicious! They added a good amount of shrimp that was perfectly cooked and sauce was really rich in flavor. The grits were creamy and cooked just right too. The noodles dish was packed with garlicky goodness! Their beignets with caramel and chocolate dips were yummy too. All very reasonably-priced for the amount of food.The staff were friendly and empathetic when I went there a couple times to check on my order.* Expect a wait especially during peak hours. My order took over 20min or so but worth the wait (I understand that grits can take a while to cook...all made to order from scratch). It was cool seeing my food being cooked fresh.

I've been to this shrimp shack 2 times now and I don't know, I'm a bit underwhelmed by their food. There's nothing wrong with the food but it's not the best breaded popcorn shrimp I've had. I've also gotten their garlic shrimp pasta and that was okay. I totally get it's suppose to be garlicky but Zang was it a lot of garlic. After my visits I think I'd pass on them unless I'm really craving popcorn shrimp. Service is good. No complaints there. And it's inside Haven City Market so expect it to be loud and crowded depending on when you visit.

My daughter and I were sitting right across from the Shrimp Shack Cajun and I love shrimp and haven't been here before so why not. Since this was our first time here, I asked for recommendations. The gentleman behind the register was kind to offer some items of choice.We ended up getting 2 orders of shrimp tacos that came with 2 each. Plenty for the both of us. They were a tad pricey, but hey, we're getting shrimp so be it LOL. The tacos were not huge or anything... pretty standard size. It averaged out to be almost $5.00 per taco. They were good, but I thought the sauce was a bit tangy for my taste. It had a little bit of a spicy kick... perhaps that's where the cajun comes from.Restaurant front, but on the side had a quote "Let the good times roll". It reminded me of someone I knew long time ago. I wish him well always. Overall ambiance was okay. We'll have to try their other foods next time. One cajun at a time! LOL
