I've been to this location over three times already--sometimes even twice in the same week! I absolutely love the food. It's definitely a loud atmosphere, but that's to be expected, and it adds to the lively vibe. The service at this location has always been great. The servers consistently check on drink refills, ask about food allergies, and accommodate any preferences you have. You can even request specific sauces from your chef, which is a nice touch. They're very attentive and make sure everything is just right.I recently celebrated my birthday here, and it was such an enjoyable experience. Our chef made the night extra fun for both the adults and the kids, which we really appreciated. The food is amazing--especially the ribeye, which I order every time. I like to ask for teriyaki sauce on the side and drizzle it over everything. While the food is already incredible on its own, the sauce takes the flavor to another level!I highly recommend this location. Enjoy and happy eating!

Shogun is my favorite Teppan restaurant ! They have the best options for vegans and vegetarians. They will cook my food first and separate so as to not mix with the meat on the grill. They have the very best dish - Tofy Delight The fried tofu is delicious with teriyaki or sauce or without and the portion size is quite large. Big enough to share because everyone wants to try what you have ! The veggies are onions mushrooms zucchini and red peppers - delicious! Always great service here. In my experience if you have a reservation and there are not enough people to fill a table, they will seat you and cook just for you. I appreciate that. Great food and great service. One ofOur families favorite restaurants. Any of the Shoguns Corona, Rancho Cucamonga or La Verne.

My family & I came here on a Sunday around 4:15pm. The wait wasn't bad, we were sat pretty fast. Our server took our drinks and orders and was very kind. However, it took about 35+ minutes to get a server to our table to start on the entrees. When we did get our entrees started some of the orders were shorted shrimp and then had extra steak which wasn't horrible, it just took a few more minutes for the shrimp to arrive. The chef was very nice and gave us the extra steak. Inside the restaurant, it was extremely hot. Before our chef even got there and turned the stove on, we were all sweating. On the bright side, our food was delicious. I got the tofu delight with shishito peppers. It's also a great option if you need food the next day and have leftovers, it heats up great and still tastes fresh. Overall, I think it was just an off day.

We visited Shogun in Corona on the Saturday before Father's Day and were pleased that there was no wait for seats. Our teppanyaki experience was enjoyable, especially thanks to Adam, our chef, who showcased impressive skills and made the meal entertaining. If you visit Shogun, Adam is definitely worth requesting! The food was great; teppanyaki always hits the spot. We savored a variety of dishes including fried rice, steak, lobster, scallops, and squid, complemented by sushi rolls as appetizers. Each dish was cooked well and flavorful.Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and my dad particularly enjoyed the meal for Father's Day. While not flawless, Shogun in Corona offers good food and a fun teppanyaki experience.

Diane and I ate here for the first time for a dinner seating with other guests, and although there were a few bumps in the road, we generally liked our overall dining experience. Service was good when we received it, but it seemed like our assigned teppanyaki grill master must have missed a rotation. Then, when we finally received a grill master, the grill would not heat up properly, so we had to move to another grill. Because of these glitches, without any request the manager took 50% off all bills for diners at our grill, which I thought was a nice gesture. We began with a Kamikaze Roll for me, and Shrimp Tempura for Diane. The large sushi roll was excellent, with mild Eel Sauce, somewhat spicy Dragon Sauce, Spicy Tuna, and cucumber and avocado to cool down the heat. The Shrimp Tempura was hot and very good. Onion Soup was real tasty. And Salad with a fine light dressing was good, but did not include tomatoes. Green Tea helped wash everything down. There was a real long break between the salad course and cooking of entrees and sides. When it was at last cooked on a working grill, Chicken Fried Rice was excellent, but my Filet was more rare than medium rare as ordered. Vegetables and other cooked food, like shrimp, were well prepared and tasted very good. Because we were celebrating my birthday, I received a colorful samurai's paper headpiece and a complimentary Brown Cake and Vanilla Ice Cream as a cool treat.XXX-1/2 stars overall!

The service was good the food was good but the cleanliness not so good. I went with my sister and her boyfriend. While we waited we decided to grab a drink. The glass had an insect in it. They did give us a free drink but after that it's like do I really want another drink. They also forgot about us and served another family that was a huge group so we had to wait a little longer. Overall good experience but definitely not a 5 star experience.

We had a reservation for 4 but waited 30 minutes to be seated. Service was friendly but it took over an hour just for water, and the restaurant is filthy. We started off with the clams, calamari, and pickled cucumber. It was all average and the cucumber was slimy. Udon noodles were chewy and dashi broth was light.Everyone enjoyed the fried rice and steak. (Who wouldn't with the amount of butter they put.) The chicken was average.

Boy oh boy. This place was a bummer especially on a day to celebrate a special birthday...smiles turned into dreading sighs. You know that moment where you are super excited to go celebrate a birthday and watch a cool chef make some cool trips... well we got none of that. The chef came out making snide and unnecessary comments to the main birthday person, who does that? Well that chef did. If you want to celebrate your birthday, don't come here. You'll have a better time at Gen, trust me. Luckily, our server was super kind and understood the situation. But the chef, he was another story. Not only did he make rude comments as he tried to be funny, the meat was cooked badly and used a ton of butter. We ordered different combination meals, lots of sushi, and seared tuna salad. The salad took a long time and came a few minutes after the sushi, how does that happen? The place was not even busy! Sushi was good; I'll give them that. We talked to the manager and got a percentage off the full price, but it was still unacceptable behavior and such a poor turn out of this place. We didn't receive a follow up. I had to get up and talk to the manager about again to see what the action steps are to resolve this issue, if there's any. Oh by the way, parking is shared with other places like a gym and etc. Parking was a breeze, but def not a place to go back.
