Shibuya's Catering

My husband and I were having a small baby shower at home (25 guests) and were looking for caterers to help us with mains and a few appetizers. I found Shibuya's on Yelp and we are so glad we came across Chef Victor and his wife, Inez!! Inez was instrumental in ensuring we walked through all the possible options for menus, ingredients, our preferences and dietary restrictions. We went back and forth with pictures on what we'd like to move forward it and Chef even called a week prior to confirm if our counts had changed and ensured everything was all set prior! I loved how personalized and warm Inez and Chef were through the whole process with us! On the day of, communication was top notch. Chef Victor arrived earlier than expected so he could set up for us and all the small details had been considered: signs, serving ware, burners you name it. Now, the FOOD!! We ordered the mixed berry salad with freshly made vinaigrette dressing, the taco platter with zucchini and pollo, mahi mahi ceviche, rice and beans, guac and salsa. No exaggeration: we all ate at least 3 plates of food - it was ALL DELICIOUS! The freshest ingredients, wholesome tasty brilliantly prepped food! Our guests immediately took Chefs info down and even packed boxes of food to take home for their kids It was seriously amazing! Chef called the next day to ask for feedback. Having worked at top Michelin star restaurants, now that's hospitality at its finest. He and Inez were warm, open and willing to go the extra mile to make our day special. Highly recommend their business and working with them in the future!

My friend used Victor to cater her son's birthday party and wow I was blown away. Carnitas are my jam, and they did not disappoint. Literally the best taco I've had in a long time! They provided everything and the guacamole was top tier. I Def recommend!!

I reached out to Victor to book an event in Temecula for 15-20 people that needed catering 1 week later. We reviewed the menu and agreed upon everything. He said his wife would come home and send over contract and paperwork so I can make payment. I thought it was a little weird that he required full payment before the event (instead of the usual %50 upfront and %50 upon deliver at event) but agreed due to short notice. His wife reached out and asked for my full name and address for payment info. I still hadn't received a contract or menu or anything but still sent her my info. She said she would reply in a few hours with menu and invoice. Then they completely ghosted me. I sent a few follow up messages through text and through Yelp and no reply. After wasting a few days I was stuck with no one left to cater the event. At least have some respect and explain why you can't do the event or why things have changed. Not cool to just leave people hanging like that.

Just had Victor cater my daughters Baby shower, best tasting food let me tell you. We had Carne asada, Chicken, Rice and Beans, the flavors of the meat were amazing, tender and so flavorful. He made the best rice and beans as well, perfectly cooked and all the guests loved all of it. He made homemade Guacamole, Salsa, Pico de gall o . I highly recommend him for any of your parties, showed up early, set it all up and great customer service

Victor was wonderful and did a great job catering our girls weekend! He was so sweet and made sure there was plenty of food. Definitely would recommend him!!

Omjesus! I can't even begin to tell you how much we all loved Victor's food! He catered my son's 11th birthday party and the food was a hit! We had tacos (asada, carnitas & chicken) and the sides to go with it. Everyone was full and happy! He and his wife are such great communicators also. Thank you so much Victor and Inez! I truly appreciate you guys coming through for me. I promise I will be using you for my next event!

What a terrific find! Shibuya is an excellent caterer and we had a great experience working with him and his team. He was very easy to work with and was willing to cook a variety of foods, being very flexible with the menu and our selections. He showed up on time, prepared everything so it looked nice, was labeled and stayed warm for our guests. We had 30+ people and had plenty of food leftover, with everyone very full and everyone commenting on the quality and the taste of the food. We did pastas, salads, meat skewers and some pulled chicken and pulled pork sandwiches. Everything was delicious. A great experience and a great value for the food & service.

We had a catering order for 150 people. The food was excellent and there was plenty of food left! The quality of food was exquisite and the small details did not go unnoticed. Even the sides of butter looked fancy! Chef Victor arrived in a timely fashion and set everything up. It was so easy on our part. Highly recommend!
