Shell Seafood Shack

A wonderful restaurant that served up the best seafood boil I have in a long time! I highly recommend for the food is delicious! Super kind and friendly owners made our day! I love when restaurant owners/managers stop by the table to greet their guests! My daughter and I were enjoyed this place very much and will make it a regular stop for our seafood cravings.

Food was spectacular. Pricing is surprisingly very affordable. Seriously, for the quality of food and service I expected to pay a lot more. Another thing I truly appreciate about this place: tipping options. They do not gauge you with their tipping "suggestions". This place is a true treasure! I'll definitely be coming back!

Tucked away in a quiet plaza with plenty of parking, we came on a Saturday night around 5:30pm to pick up our online order (really easy to order online). It was quiet in the restaurant but the staff were really friendly and had our order ready and hot. We ordered the seafood platter and with some add ons we had crab legs, lobster tail, potatoes, sausages, corn, shrimp, crawfish and squid with Cajun sauce. On the side we had two plates of garlic noodles and fried butterflied shrimp with fries. It was plenty of food for four people! Taking the food to go was a breeze, they placed the seafood in a giant tray and the sauce didn't spill during travel. Not super saucy like a lot of other places but I think you can definitely taste the sauce on each one of the items in the tray! Especially the corn and shrimp where it fits right into the edges (the headless shrimp was also deveined, making it easier to peel than other places). I loved the whole garlic gloves in the sauce and in the garlic noodles! It's not crawfish season so I think that explains why the crawfish was not as fresh as the other seafood. Garlic noodles are bomb! I could eat so much of it. Oily and garlicky as expected and so so good! The fries were soggy from transport but they are good! I recommend to air fry them if you want them crispy. Shrimp was breaded and fried well, tasty and gave us a good amount. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to others in the area!

Loved it. Came in for dinner with my friend. Inside is simple, bright, and clean. A few tables for seating but good for a small group. We were craving shrimp so we got the 1lb of shrimp and the bang bang shrimp, both with garlic noodles. The bang bang shrimp have a great crunch from the batter and a nice creamy sauce. I'll have to ask for extra sauce next time. We got the Cajun mix with the shrimp. So good. The 1lb shrimp combo can probably be shared by 2 people. Will definitely be coming back to try more. Service was good. Friendly staff. Limited hours though. Wish they were open earlier for lunch on the Saturdays. Easy parking in the shopping center lot.

Ordered take-out. I like that the containers are big tins that you'd see at a family BBQ, and there was a homey feeling to this place. The actual food was yummy. I got shrimp (1 lb) and the sauce was garlicky and Spivey. They de shell the shrimp here, and I was worried it would be over cooked but it was not! It comes with sausage and corn and potatoes when you buy a combo, and I also got a side of garlic bread - which I highly recommend. When I go to seafood boil places, I enjoy the head of the shrimp so I'd probably ask for that next time.

Came here with my family and ordered a shrimp mussel and clam combo and extra calamari. We chose the butter garlic sauce bc some of our kids could not handle heat but prefer a side of an Asian spicy sauce for dipping. The price is decent and the food is not as salty as the boiling crabs. They were so nice to give us some free beignets. The owner seems very caring about how things tasted and checked on us and made sure everything was ok.

Food is really nice, and the staff and the chef here are awesome and friendly. This place is family and kids friendly. I'll definitely be back here again and totally recommend it.

Great place for spicy shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn on the cob. Hidden gem for sure. Mark Lee is very passionate about what he prepares. Better than any other shrimp and crap place hands down. Try it once. You'll be back.

Great food and good prices. I will definitely be back. I like their shrimp with no skin with da mix seasoning.

I rarely write reviews, but I knew I had to after visiting this place!This small family business is such a hidden gem. I have been there multiple times, and the service has always been exceptional. The food was full of flavor--I recommend the Big Bang shrimp! It's so crunchy and flavorful--reminds me of honey walnut shrimp without the walnuts. The beignets are insanely good! The amount of food you get for the amount you pay is surprisingly good too.The family, especially the hardworking chef was very enthusiastic! So underrated, would come back again as usual! Don't think about it, just go!
