We recently hosted a birthday party of about 45-50 people. And it was an absolute 10/10. Kimo was very cool and made the experience easy and exceptional. The place was alright, nothing special. Drinks were okay, but the atmosphere was kinda dead. Expected more from the hype, tbh. Service was decent, I guess. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

**Ambiance: 5 stars! The moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a warm and vibrant atmosphere that just radiates fun. Everywhere you look, there are beautiful decorations and a lively vibe that makes you want to sit back and enjoy your time there.**Customer Service: 4 stars. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which is always a plus! However, I did notice they took their time, often gathered together chatting instead of being quick on their feet. It didn't detract too much from the experience, but it was a little slow at times.**Food & Drinks: I ordered the margarita flight, and let me tell you, the watermelon margarita was a standout! It was refreshing and bursting with flavor. The pineapple and passion fruit margaritas were also tasty, but the mango margarita fell a bit flat for me--it tasted more like mango syrup than the fresh flavor I was hoping for. The ceviche was good, with fresh flavors that paired nicely with my drinks. However, I was disappointed with the chips and salsa. The chips came out stale, and the salsa didn't quite hit the mark for me--it lacked the freshness and zing I was expecting.**Cleanliness: The place was spotless, which is always appreciated. Plus, I found ample parking all around, making my visit hassle-free. I went on a weekday around noon and was lucky enough to park right in front!In summary, Semillas Cantina offers a wonderful atmosphere and tasty drinks, with an area for improvement in the food. I'll definitely be back to enjoy that watermelon margarita again!

Let's just start with our server Danny.. he went above and beyond for us, he was the only one working and he did an amazing job! The food was delicious And we will 100% be back soon!

Ordered the albondiga soup to split with my kids, there were no potatoes and one slice of carrot. Literally :/ . I wouldn't order this soup again .

Ambiance: There is plenty of room inside and the staff is friendly. Love the atmosphere inside.Taste test: I loved the soup, more so than the chicken enchiladas. They put a lot of meat in the enchiladas. There is not a lot of choice for vegetarians unless you like mushrooms. They don't provide chips and salsa unless you order it.It's nice to have a Mexican restaurant close to home and I hope to try more dishes.

I used to love coming to this location back when it was Limericks. It was a fun local spot to get drinks and dance with friends. Now that it's Semillas Cantina it seems a little lost in what it's trying to be. The name Cantina means it's more like a restaurant and bar combo. From the experience though, it reads as a primarily a sit down establishment meant to have a club-like atmosphere. There's the long bar in the middle of the building with a di booth at the back wall facing the restaurant with tables taking up a majority of the floor space.The music is SO loud and the place is EMPTY. It doesn't make sense to the have music be so loud when most of your patrons are sitting down to eat. There's no room to hold conversation in the main area. It was really awkward to try and talk with the rest of the dinner party over the music. The waitress was nice and let us know what drinks were most popular and recommended her favorites. They l gave us complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was flavorful without being super spicy. I'm not sure what brand of chips they use but they were great, not super salty. We didn't try any of the food as we thought it would be more of bar-like experience based on the name and the music coming from the outside. It did take a while to get our drinks, which was a little annoying since the place was incredibly empty and they had two people tending the bar. The drinks were good. I tried the cucumber margarita and ordered it with no spice, but it came to the table with a chili rim. I didn't send it back as it came with a straw so it wasn't ultimately a big deal. My friends ordered the other margarita flavors and also said they were good. My favorite thing is the aesthetic of the restaurant. I love the name and the hand painted art they have on the walls. However, that's the only thing I really enjoyed. The rest of my experience was average. I don't really see myself coming back any time soon.

Omg! Their new Brunch menu is delicious!!!! I came here on a Sunday morning and OMG! So surprised! Food tastes like authentic Mexican food. Everything is fresh. Presentation is super nice! Will be back.

Very disappointing! Don't waste your money or time ; place was empty; we were the only table and they could not even take care of us ; they charged me extra for hot salsa.. we ordered carne asada fries and the meat was over cooked and chewy, the chicken tacos over cooked and dry. Enchiladas tortillas were hard;

Semillas has great food. Everything we tried was exceptional! This is the place to try!Only suggestion would be to install bidets in the restrooms. #come for the food, stay for the bidet.
