My colleague recommended this place to me since he knows i live around the area. Came here on Saturday 12:30p and it's empty . Yay quiet brunch ! We ordered crispy tofu , salmon with garlic rice, sea food spaghetti and king scallops. They taste wonderful and portion is large. I personally highly recommended the garlic rice , not sure if you can order it separately but it's a must try.Staff is very friendly, for sure we'll come back. This place is slightly on the pricey side, but hey what's not pricey these days ?

I kept hearing about this place. And also noticed that several Yelp events were held here. Although I weren't able to attend those Yelp events, I decided to check them out.Came in one evening for dinner and there was a party going on in the banquet room. Looks like people were having a great time. There were a couple of people dining in the main side of the restaurant, me included. I was promptly seated upon entering the restaurant.I must say, the interior is quite nice and cozy. Great place for dinner and party. I could see why there was a party going on that evening. While looking through the menu, the escargot caught my attention. There were several different choices to choose. I decided to order the Coconut Escargot. Also ordered the Shrimp Spring Rolls. Was a bit surprised that my meals didn't come out in a timely manner. It could be that it takes time to prepare the Coconut Escargot, or the fact that there was a party going on next door, that they prioritized their efforts there. Can't really blame them I guess. On to the foods. I really enjoyed the Shrimp Spring Rolls. Very fresh and tasty. As for the Coconut Escargot, I didn't enjoy it as much. I didn't expect the escargot to be tiny. I ate escargot at other places and I'm used to the bigger sizes. A bit surprised that they were so small. Plus, the coconut flavor was a bit too sweet for me. In fact, I didn't expect this dish to be sweet at all. At first, I didn't even know how I would eat the escargot since the shells were so small. I said to myself, I just wasted my money on this dish. Luckily the friendly staff noticed I was struggling trying to get the meat out of the shell, she stopped by and told me the way to eat this, is to suck it out of the shells. Thank goodness for her tip, I was able to eat my coconut escargot.I did, however, enjoyed my meals, except for the sweet taste of the coconut escargot. My fault for not knowing the dish I was ordering. Perhaps, next time, I will try a different escargot dish. Better luck next time.

Friendly service when you call on the phone... although there might be a slight chance of 'lost in translation' I had asked for Oolong Lemon Iced Tea and when I got there it was Jasmine Green Tea with Lemon but turns out it was delicious and refreshing so HA!!! I used to drive by this place all the time and the few times I attempted to go they were closed, and last week I worked late on Friday and tried to call in an order around 8:45PM (my bad I thought they closed at 10:00pm) so I couldn't get something to eat as I was driving from work (Riverside) and wouldn't make it in time. So last night I worked late and thought I would try them again. I ordered the Eggrolls I wanted the traditional Vietnamese ones but I got the Shrimp Eggrolls instead (not a biggie) and the Cream Cheese Rangoons... after I placed my order they called back almost immediately to say they were out of the Rangoons so I ordered the Pork Banh Mi (pronounced barn me) instead - HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS cuzzzz Honnneyyyyyyy That Banh Mi was so goshdurn delicious!! so good in fact that I didn't manage to take a photo LOL it was wrapped in hardy white (sandwich) paper with all the trimmings (pickled Julienne carrots, daikon, cilantro and jalapenos) in a ziplock and LET (hand clap) ME (hand clap) TELL (hand clap) YOU!! that french bread was perfecto! I really am sorry I didn't pause long enough to capture it but OH well next time I'll be sure to do so ((smile)).Parking lot was empty but I got there slightly before closing so it figures. There were 2 people sitting eating and they had an entire booth full of food in front of them that looked and smelled AMAZING. I'm happy to have found another 'comfort food' spot so close to home. BTW the young lady at the bar was so nice but the 3 people that worked there that were near the exit when I left never said "Bye or Thank you for coming" - and you KNOW I'm in Hospitality and every impression counts I'm ultra aware.Respectfully Reviewed.

Invited for the Annual Yelp Event. The place is very inviting and has a warm feeling of Service. Everyone there was smiling and helpful about their Restaurant. We interacted and I made a few new friends. The appetizers were good and the specialty drink was the bomb. Food was freshly made and didn't last very long. So many flavors and a nice variety to try. I look forward to coming back again and try more of their menu. Kudos to the Owners and team!

I tried their Thanksgiving Buffet. It was a first time event. The food was decent. The only thing I wished was for all the food to be hot. The only thing hot in temperature was the chicken wings, fried calamari, and the spring rolls which were good. The lobster took so long to come out. It was small but good. When it came out, one guest grabbed a plate full of lobsters and left little to nothing left. We waited again a while for the next batch to come out and another guest took all of the lobsters. They should be more organized with that. The noodles were stale. Most of the dishes were cold. Hopefully they improve. The buffet was shared with the guests coming out of the banquet hall.

Amazing presentation of food and wonderful flavor!! It was empty when we came but Total sea theme everywhere. We did try the scallops in shells, spring rolls, mmm and crab fried rice. They even gave us complimentary fresh spring rolls!! So yummy--prices are a bit high,$25 for scallops but totally worth it for a special treat!!! My husband thought the mermaid at the front was scary but I loved the themed decorations Ok, the bright OPEN sign over the entrance might seem a bit garish but you know where to enter.

I came here since I've been looking for a local place that had bò Lá Lốt ($18) which is Vietnamese grilled beef in betel leaves. Since they recently opened, they were giving two free rolls of shrimp eggrolls. My order came with 4 pieces with sides of banh hoi (thin sheets of rice noodles) drizzled with green onion oil and fried shallots, lettuce, Thai basil, and mint. Their dipping sauce which is fish sauce based has a good heat to it with plenty of freshly chopped chilis. You wrap the meat with the banh hoi in lettuce and vegetables, then dip it into the fish sauce.I also got their Bún Thịt Nướng ($18) which is their noodle bowl with grilled pork, chopped lettuce, chopped cucumbers, an eggroll, and fried shallots with green onion oil. It comes with a side of their spicy fish sauce, I like to dip the grilled pork and then mix some of the sauce into the rice noodles and mix the bowl. It seems like it's family run with three people, they were nice and attentive. The restrooms are clean and they seem to have a karaoke room across from the dining area (?). The dining area is pretty dark inside with plenty of seating.

At 3pm, there was plenty of parking space and our party were the only customers. But we were greeted so warmly and told to take whichever booth or table we wanted. The tables and chairs are covered in black fabric and tied with a ribbon, so it feels less casual and more formal. There's a bar and buffet area. It probably sees a lot of action on holidays and special occasions. The food is made fresh, so we had to wait several minutes for all our dishes to come out. (But it was worth the wait!) Our server Eric was so knowledgeable about the menu offerings and answered all our questions happily. We got the following:House Special Mango Salad: it reminds me of the Thai papaya salad but Iike this better. It's tangy from the unripe mangoes and refreshing because of the mint leaves. There's cut up squid in there, and it's dressed in a light vinaigrette. 10/10!Garlic Butter Escargot: delicious marinade (probably some oyster sauce included) that made for an umami bomb. It was buttery and smelled heavenly. The snail meat was bigger than usual. Only issue is that it came out slightly rubbery - which happens with snails. 8/10Salt and Pepper Prawns: absolutely delightful. We plan on ordering this every time we come here. If you have this with their salted fish chicken fried rice, and ask for a little chili garlic oil, it'll be like you died, went to heaven and ate dinner with Prince, Biggie Smalls and Taylor Hawkins. Sooo good. 10/10Calamari: not rubbery at all, and there was a good meat to breading ratio. The sauce that came with it paired well. I could've just ordered this and rice and I would've been happy. 10/10Wings: this was what made us so curious about the restaurant. They perfected the alchemy of combining salty, slightly sweet, and slightly sour flavors. My son hogged all the wings and didn't allow us more than a wing each. He said if he was ever on death row, he'd want to eat these wings as his last meal. 10/10House Special Crab: you need to order this because this was amazing. $45 but so much value! They give you the entire crab too - unlike some restaurants who skimp and keep some of the parts - not at Sea Queen. They give you everything! These folks are brilliant. They breaded and deep fried the crab and tossed them in their special house sauce. I couldn't stop licking my fingers. The crab was so tasty - there are layers of flavors. Excellent dish. 11/10The service is top notch because they bring you everything before you even realize you need it. Extra napkins, shears for the crab, extra plates or water - whatever it is, they've got you. They're so attentive and they anticipate your needs. It is so rare for a restaurant to demonstrate this level of care for their diners. I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer because this place is an absolute gem.

Follow their IG social media and of course we had to stop in . Just to know there is a Vietnamese seafood restaurant in the IE and dancing/ karaoke ,gets me excited. We were the first customers right when they opened for the day. so ambiance was quiet , it gave us some time to look through their menu and not felt rushed . Our waiter didn't seem very familiar with some of the food on the menu. I had the beef grilled in wrapped la lot leaves. It didn't come with a dipping sauce, so I asked our waiter if he would bring the sauce. He brought over soy sauce instead. I continued to ask for nuc cham dipping sauce, which is a traditional fish sauce made with sugar, fish sauce, lemon juice that goes well with the grilled leaves when wrapped in lettuce. After sometime, I believe the owner or the chef came out, introduced herself to us and explained to us that , they didn't have any nuc cham to offer me and they were willing to replace the meal or bring over a sweet sour dipping sauce. I ate the beef la lot with out any dipping sauce, the flavor was delicious, smoky grilled aroma infused. The tofu and mushrooms noodle soup was bland for me . Hubby had the grilled pork noodle salad . The dishes we had didnt stand out to us. We are willing to give sea queen another try on our next visit and hopefully as time went by and they've been in business for a little longer maybe they are able to find the niche and improve on the menu.

We've been here twice now and this is an amazing place. The food is 5 steps above all the other Vietnamese restaurants. This last time, we ordered the lobster, mussels, garlic water spinach and egg rolls. Even the egg rolls were many steps above, with a large fresh shrimp within with the tail sticking out. Highly recommend this place.
