I heard about this 24 hour ramen spot and had to try it. We drove up from San Diego on a Saturday evening. Parking was easy, and the crowds weren't too bad. We ordered our food and were instructed to seat ourselves. we found a seat, were called to pick up our food and finished eating within 20 minutes. They're so efficient, it's insane. I loved the decor.. very cozy!

Shoyu egg. You may ask why I started this review with "shoyu egg"? It's because I try to start, even the most disappointing of reviews, with the redeeming qualities. Or in this case, *quality* (singular). That's it. Shoyu egg.Now you may wonder, "what about everything else"? Service: Fast casual place, so order at the counter. Everyone working there seemed like they were in purgatory. Food is served in plastic take-out bowls and plastic cutlery. Ambiance: tables and chairs were not clean. The bar area looks more like storage shelves. Laminated Menus at the front were falling apart. Restroom handle was broken and MacGyver'd together. Food: Tonkatsu Ramen broth and chasu pork was nearly flavorless, unlike the noodles which were completely flavorless (and undercooked). Price: The small portion included only the ramen, 2 pork slices, green onion and mushroom. Everything else is an add-on... and each add-on is way overpriced. $45 for 2 child size, sub-par quality ramen bowls in takeout containers with plastic spoons and you have to clean up after yourself when you're done eating?? No thanks. But, yeah... shoyu egg was good.

I have been going to this place for years great staff and food. I have not ever had a bad meal there. The chicken fried rice is my favorite I feel a lot safer with security there now. Before security there was drunk people that started a lot of fights and just made dinning in uncomfortable.

Me and my friends went here for lunch on new years day after attending a NYE event. Aside from it being open on a holiday, the cold breeze and a tiring day called for a ramen day!We all crafted our own ramen and I always go for any pork bone broth that's why I went for the tonkatsu base. However, the soup was not warm enough and the soup is too thick. Not the best for me. After going through the reviews here I don't know if it was just us but yeah they flip the screen for a tip but you have to pick up your order and clean your table and bring back your trays. I don't mind though since it's a holiday, gotta pay extra for the people who worked and cook for us! The review is mainly based on the this dish. The ambiance was fine since and we had good seating.

I love ramen and always down to try new spots, so I was excited for my first 24/7 ramen experience. Arrived around 1am and went with the King's Ramen on the cashier's recommendation, assuming it was a classic bowl. But when I was charged $28, I was shocked. Still, I paid, expecting something amazing. Unfortunately, the broth lacked flavor, and the ramen didn't even include a protein like chicken or pork. The only reason I'm not giving this place one star is that I should've checked the menu more closely--but honestly, no matter what I picked, it still would've been overpriced and underwhelming.

I swear the noodles taste like packet ramen it's not worth the money. Tried it twice to see if it was just me but on two different occasions, having the same experience is not fun. there's never any space inside as well. shame it's located in the heart of downtown

So we went to the food lab and saw ramen so our heart was set on ramen. Therefore we yelpeed a higher rating place and found Saku Ramen.Luckily no line. its right across from the Mission Inn on the side where its a blocked off walkway. It's great to to build what you want, everything is ala carte in the toppings so your ramen can add up. i got the tonkatsu with spicy and it was a nice spice for a cold day in December. First place i have ever seen to have 0 cal noodles so it's konjac noodles. What a nice treat to eat it guilt free carb free! Broth takes great!
