S S Burger Basket

It took me over two years in my 3+ years of living in Lake Elsinore to try this place. Why? I feel like every town has these type of local burger joints that have a bit of everything-some breakfast, burgers, Mexican food, sandwiches, etc. If you've had one, you've pretty much had em all. Some love em, some of us are whatever about em. Not to mention, the locals here overhype everything.When I did finally give them a chance, I wasn't disappointed. I often order the same thing here. Maybe the egg sandwich, a breakfast burrito, curly fries or the kids fish combo. The ranch dressing here is really thick and rich-a good thing for ranch lovers. I noticed if I order fries for dine-in, they're usually hard/crispy, but if I order them via DoorDash, they're softer and the way that I like em.The veggie burger is also pretty good-it's vegetarian not vegan. I prefer it to the one at Douglas Burger.The inside is pretty spacious with lots of booths, some tvs and large fans going. Service is good. There's one restroom, maybe two but I believe the other is employees only. Also, look at the way they sealed my package for delivery. I've never seen any restaurant attempt to seal a drink but it was the first time I felt comfortable enough to take a sip of a delivered drink.Definitely worth a visit. I'm a frequent supporter.

My family and I have lived in The area for over 10 years and the quality of food has gone way down while prices have skyrocketed. Order 3 breakfast burritos with bacon and what we got was 3 potato burritos with a few pieces of egg and maybe some bacon crumbs. Very upset this is the 2nd time i feel like i was cheated.

Zero stars S&S burger basket is absolutely trash. We have tried to give them chance after chance, we used to love it. The food and the customer service altogether. This town boycott them until they stepped up and do better. The excuse from the manager was "we have a lot of new staff". After I told him they gave us the entire wrong order the night before, somebody else's entire bag. My hubby got home and to his surprise completely wrong order. After a long commute and getting home to find the wrong order, it's not fun, especially when the food is so expensive. We took it back they gave us our order which had apparently been sitting for about 40 minutes. They did not remake it. They handed us the same order that had been sitting there. When he brought the Next order home, it was soggy cold and uneditable. The order was wrong again. Three out of four burgers were made wrong. When I spoke to the manager today, he said well there's "no proof" of that and if you wanted it remade, you could've came and brought it back again. He was rude and did not care about our struggles. I advised him that they need to do better. I ran a kitchen for almost 20 years and never have I allowed such low quality work. Dear owners get new management before it's too late! Omg ! I usually don't care for menudo, but the one at this place has the BEST MENUDO! Whoever is cooking back there deserves a raise.

What a pleasant surprise! I stopped here on the way to my Mom's house because I like to try random places. The chili cheese dog is so delicious! It's got a little kick to it, not bland chili at all. I'm gonna have to keep this spot on my radar. I wonder what else is good... I noticed they have a "Burger Tuesday" after I had already ordered, sounds like a great deal. I'll definitely be back to try different items. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food was brought to me hot, even the fries. You don't get that everywhere these days. Thanks!

Fries! fries! fries!You'll get half a plate full of fries and I'm here for it. I always get the avocado cheeseburger and it's a handful it's juicy and delicious. What I don't like is how much they charge they are competent with a sit down gourmet restaurant. Not to mention the ranch is WAY OVERPRICED. The too way speaker sucks I have to mentally prepare myself of how many times I need to repeat myself.

When you ask for a pastrami sandwich i want a sandwich. Not a sandwich made by kids for 20.00 $ the older man knows how to make it right. I wont go back unless i see him cooking or train them kids right .

Went here for the first time about a week ago, & it was for breakfast. I didn't find anything appealing on their small breakfast menu, so I got nothing, but my husband got their bacon, egg, & cheese breakfast sandwich only. It was about $11. We paid with a $20 and got $6 change, so we had to get the drive thru worker's attention to get the proper change. Once home, the sandwich was on regular white bread, so it looked like a BLT with egg. It was not at all what he expected, but it tasted good. We'll come back and try again for another meal.

They don't answer the phone and they're service is terrible along with the overpriced food I would not recommend
