We came across this family-owned goodness at a city's multicultural event. This vendor was one of many there but one that had the most line during the event. I was glad to have tried the brisket nachos as the brisket was running low shortly after we ordered. You can tell that they are family-owned and takes pride in the food that they serve. I was quiet taken aback at the portion that they give! They used half of a styrofoam box and it was filled beautifully and creatively with chips, salsa, onions, cilantro, beans, sour cream, cheese, and of course, brisket! The juices from the brisket mixed with all of the ingredients and it just makes you want to eat more of it! The brisket are very tender and generously shredded around the plate. I wish this picture does it justice. The flavor was amazing, the customer service was superb. The ambiance is great! I mean this was an outdoor event, with food that actually fills you up and it was delicious mind you!

These people are rude as hell. 1 hot dog for $25. What a rip off wish I walked away. The lady taking the order seems like she needs an attitude adjustment. What a total disappointment. She was also yelling at her workers in front of everybody.

Had food at Barn after the poker ride and I wasn't impressed. Pulled pork bun bottom was so soggy it was mush. Cole slaw had very little sauce, if any and bbq beans tasted like they were canned beans...all for $25 which was over priced. Food service was a line that was quick. All in all I would have preferred the scout's hamburger or hot dogs. The Barn is beautiful. Light, airy and a great place to have events. Don't know what the City charges.

The service was amazing and friendly I am glad they cine to every event I got the two rib combo with greens and Mac and cheese....delicious

Absolutly amazing Brisket Nachos. So good we came back the next day with my teenage son to try the ribs. They were equally as amazing! The staff were so nice and helpful. They really seemed like they like what they do. This food is worth every penny!!I wish they had a restuarant locally because I would eat there every day LOL. Thank you for making our family trip to Newport Dunes even better. Good luck to ya'll.

UPDATE: this response is wrong, not even about my family or I. I came with my boyfriend and small child. I asked for nothing other than my order. I paid this high price in hopes of good food and was miserably let down! I received my food, ate and left. What's more disgusting than the food here is the need to make up a lie to combat a bad review. I hope the best for this family business. ORIGINAL: These folks are terrible at everything they're doing. They really should get out of this business. I bought 2 meals from them at the Tustin Tiller days event (costing $66). A pulled pork sandwich for one, I chose bbq baked beans and Mac and cheese for sides. The sandwich had little to no sauce on it. The Mac and cheese was the biggest disgrace to their community I've ever seen, plain penne pasta with no cheese or seasoning. Beans were fine just out of the can. The other plate I paid for was a rib plate. About an hour after eating this my family was sick in the bathroom. Being from the south myself, this business is making a fool of themselves and mocking good food. The service was terrible. While taking my order the lady leaned out the window to yell an a guy about getting a cup of sauce that one of the many teenagers in the tent had given him. She yelled at him saying he shouldn't have been given that without paying $3. So unprofessional. I doubt any of the staff working for these people have servsafe certificates, by looking at how unorganized and nasty the tent was.They also charged extra for napkins, sauce, extra plates. Gross. Hope to never see these people at a family friendly event again!

We had the opportunity to try their food at the Vegas Jazz show, the food was great. We had a 4 piece mix meat combo, with Mac & Cheese and Mixed greens. So good it reminded me of the south and we are from Louisiana. It was amazing to see them working extremely well with such dangerous high winds. I will say this they had 2 lines but they were sooo long.. Not their fault but line was long.

$30 where? We wanted to support this vendor at the City of Lights Jazz & R&B Fest but this was where it's at. The brisket was too tough.

Got the brisket nachos because I saw many other people with a large pile of food. However, it was disappointing to find that I paid $36 for a mountain of chips covered with a small layer of dry brisket. $20 would still be expensive for what I got but at least it would be somewhat fair. What makes it more egregious is the fact that they don't post any prices. If I had known it was that expensive I would not have even considered ordering. Overall, not worth it.

Melt in your mouth brisket! Super nice family owned business. Met them at Gator by the Bay festival in San Diego.
