Ruben's Tacos

Every time I'm close to this restaurant, the urge to call for takeout is unstoppable. They have perfected the packaging. Generous green and red Salsa's, lemons, pickled carrots, onions and jalapeños - all pre-packaged. The food labeled so there's no confusion in the food distribution. Perfect! That's just the bonus- the star of the show is the amazing food quality cooked to perfection based on special instructions - in our case - crispy tripas. We had: -two crispy tripas burritos with all rice and toppings. -one tripas lengua combination burrito with all rice- tacos - three Al pastor, one buche and one cabeza.They can't process tips if you're paying with a card but there's a nearby liquor store that sells lotto tickets and has an ATM that charges $2.75 for cash. So I got cash and bought tickets and was able to put some cash in Ruben's tip jar. They work hard to give us good quality food so I felt good doing that. Enjoy this real gem and hope you can help them to keep on doing what they do.

It's ok. Not great. Meat was dry, the corn tortilla was sooooooo thick it felt like I was eating a sandwich

Tacos are awesome, go for the pastor. Carne asada is a little dry but not bad. If you're gonna get the asada put it in the burrito, trust. The red salsa is hot, get it. I like the burn, and so will you.

This place is my go-to when I'm craving cabeza tacos after work. It's hole in the wall with some sketchy people outside sometimes because there's a liquor store next door, so I would definitely avoid going at night if you're a woman and going alone!

Every time I've ordered tacos from here, they've been perfect. Their food is so good! The chicken tacos could easily compete with tacos from LA. The place is clean and there are plenty of tables to sit at! I got chicken tacos, a bean and cheese burrito and horchata. The horchata is really really good. The tacos are so flavorful and the red salsa is my favorite. It's perfectly spicy but not too hot. And everything about the burrito was exactly what I wanted! I will definitely be ordering from them from now on!

WOW!!! Found this little gem on my way back to the office and decided to get lunch there because I saw the banners in the corner announcing Fish Tacos, the lady that took my order was very friendly, the place is clean and the food is GREAT!! I definitely recomend this place, I want to come back and try the Birria de chico, hopefully it will be as good as their Chile Verde plate & tostada de ceviche de pescado

Food is delicious and quick. Just remember to bring cash! Employees very respectful and taco Tuesday tacos are only $1.50 each

Service was not as expected, my friends went to order and they felt uncomfortable due to the language barrier. Got laughed at & very rude. do not recommend.

Ordered carne asada burrito The rice was hard and it was more than the meat in the burrito, I ordered a carne asada burrito not a rice burrito The beans were flavorless and the whole burrito was bland Disappointed for a $12 burrito
