Food was good. Servers had a great attitude We were there for a paint event. Atmosphere was great. Drinks were good.

Took the family in for dinner.Atmosphere is good. Lots of TVs but the music was a bit loud. That said, it's a pub so that seems normal; just be aware.Seating: Long high tables for parties as large as 10.Booths to the sides for parties up to 4.Bar: full service bar with counter seating. No "drink menu with prices" so here's a sample of a couple: margaritas $11 good taste but they use an 8 oz (vs a 13) margarita glass so it's small.Tap beer $9.95 for a 20 oz: I counted ~ 8 taps with domestic (eg., Michelob ultra, blue moon), imported (modelo), and an IPA (Elysian). Food: my party ordered mostly "sandwiches" (most of the menu) which range in price of 16 to 20 dollars. My suggestion stick with the burgers at the same price; really didn't find the sandwiches to be anything special (toasted cheese bread with either a hamburger patty or toasted cheese bread with breaded mozzarella sticks (the ones that come as an appetizer). The ribs were the best meal we had at our table. The half rack was cooked well. It comes with two sides and a salad for 18 bucks. The mashed potatoes were good but have a lot of garlic so beware.All in all, it's okay. As a pub it's great - primarily they serve comfort food to fill a void while having a beer. It has numerous TVs on every wall tuned to pretty much everything. As for dining, well, intimacy isn't it's strong point so don't expect to have a long meaningful conversation if you're sitting across from each other.Hopefully they reopen the patio in spring, summer, and fall because it has a decent view - it will need some sound proofing though because the 4 lanes of Ranchero are very busy now.

This review is long overdue! We are so happy to have Freddy as a cook here. His food is always delicious. The Patti melt is my favorite and the steaks are juicy and very flavorful. It's really nice when a bartender takes the time to get to know your preferences! Aspen makes the best Tequila Sidecar! The traditional one was just as delicious! Chelsea is also great. She makes a delicious chocolate martini but her Espresso Martini is the best!We love coming here. Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and very inviting.

The atmosphere is nice and calming. The food is great! I've been here 4x's since they've opened and have not been disappointed. The restrooms are clean and stocked. The service has been 100! Sit at the bar or sit at a booth, they won't forget about you. :) So far we have had the following: mozzarella sticks 10/10, sampler 10/10, Ropers wings 8/10, calamari 10/10, the ranchers choice 10/10, half rack ribs dinner 9/10, the hangover burger 10/10, Nashville chicken sandwich 10/10, street tacos 10/10, fried cod tacos 8/10. If I can, I'd like to suggest a spicy salsa for the tacos. Other than that, this place is spot on. My family and I will be back. Hopefully soon.

Came in tonight during their soft opening. Limited cocktail menu due to this but full food menu. We had a sampler platter, a few Mexican candy shots and a Buffalo trace old fashioned. Sampler was good but next time I would ask for a ranch in addition to the standard sauces. Wife loved her Mexican candy shots. Old fashioned was just ok. Used maraschino cherry instead of the dark luxadero cherries. Also felt like it had too much bitters or something. The taste was just a little off to me. Waitress Lonnie was great and super friendly. You can play music from the jukebox with the TouchTunes app on your phone as well. Inside hasn't changed all the much from the previous establishment but would come back.

Rpoers is a fresh new local bar in Oak Hills. Aspin is a great bartender that is very attentive to his customers and makes some great drinks. Freddy has the kitchen working top notch.

Okay cute, clean, Quaint, friendly staff, we we're acknowledge as they were helping other customers, nice touch of hospitality, mannerisms, shows that the individual's have self respect and definitely goes a long way towards the establishment they currently represent. I am weary of my car situation being photo bomb & plastered all over the internet so much like my personal photos are, I get it, I wanted to make a statement when buying it, knowingly that there is a downside to it as well. 5 minutes in, a young woman, she's a server, not our server, but is part of the staff here, brought us over a couple of drinks , uh, she was on her game and immediately asked for our ID's. I informed her that I was not of Age & presented my DL while the Bestie said I am, here you go with her ID , & told her that she would be taking both drinks!!! Lol, slipped her a 20 spot, thanked her and she was so appreciative, didn't want to accept it and let us know that the two Gentlemen who sent the drinks over had already paid for them and tipped her out. Like #HONESTY ALWAYS PREVAIL, she deserved more than the 20 I gave. Our server shows up with two glasses of ice water, Lemon on the rim, love it !!! Didn't even have to ask for it ! So far so good . I've been receiving many emails asking me to visit this establishment with great enthusiasm and reviews I just hadn't had the time, but when trying to decide what we we're going to have for dinner, low & behold another notification came through and it was for Roppers ! So here we are sent in our order for appetizers which we went basic.,.. I order a basket of Fresh French Fries with Mustard & Nik order Chicken wings and when we received our order, Hot, tasty, Mmm a little kick to them, nicely cooked all the way through, WOW !!! Grrrrreat ! However we were expecting a wing not a leg, lol, I'm being funny y'all, not complaining, great portion's, now this is a chicken wing for sure. We received our drinks, basic cola that actually wasn't flat which is hard to come by in restaurants now a days, so happy with it all ! Nik got a Lemon Drop ? I don't know but the girl liked it because she polished 21/2 more off, lol, she said for me to add that they did not skim on their purchase of liquor, that it's all TOP SHELF Ingredients , what ever that means. Our server, shame on me, I don't remember her name & feel that it would be rude of me to ask her. N e way she great at we hat she does and does it with great pride. She was about to bring us our main course when a good looking Gentleman was approaching us quickly and I thought to myself "oh boy here we go" I was preparing the speech of rejection for him, assuming why he was approaching, when he should me why not to assume, Lmao, but he didn't know what I was thinking. Total Gentleman he basically was informing me that a cat spot opened up in the front of the restaurant where in was in Birds Eye of the staff and they would watch out for my car do that we would be able to enjoy our meal without worry, compliments me on my purchase & talked a little bit about cars he excused himself I didn't see him a gain, hmmm ?yeay !!! Our food has arrived hot aroums around the way smelling so damn good !!! Ok everyone I order the chicken tacos and it came with Chicken legs (wings) and the tacos ? My word ! More like burritos ! Lol , EXCELLENT!!! Fully loaded , sizzling to the touch and the salsa ??? Wow ! Wow ! Perfect did not know if it's bottle or homemade but Roppers let me tell ya , FREAKIN DELICIOUS !!! If you as a family owned business decide to have some type of retail reflecting on retail and this chilie was homemade, I would bottle it up, get a patten on it and sell it ! Ok that's my own personal observation and opinion. Omg !!! Soooo good so freakin good ! Oh I feel my happy dance approaching my vibe!!! Roppers !!!! You have a great gig here !!! Appreciate your staff because you've got a great one !!! Nik got a humongous Chicken burger of some sort but apparently she likes it because it's all over her mouth and chin Lmao !!! Sat around for about 30 more minutes, got our doggie bag to go but b4 all said and done, resident's of Hesperia, Apple Valley, and Victorville, it's more then worth the drive , So c'mon on out to Roppers where the staff shows great respect, enthusiasm, friendly and very accommodating to their customers and the Food speaks VOLUMES!!!!

Better than Kahlans! I love that it has reopened as Ropers! I also love that it is a country bar and I hope it stays that way! We need something different up here! The food is really good! Freddy is awesome and my favorite is the Ropers bowl! Drinks are ok! Some of the bartenders knowledge is limited! It doesn't need to serve craft cocktails, but not many options when they can't make your drink right! A better selection of wine would be nice! Doesn't need to be expensive but better than Stella Rosa! Even the canned wine would be better! I love that they have live music, very scarce out here! I want to see them succeed and higher the bar then Kallans did! I hope they continue to keep the quality high and continue to put the effort and money into the bar! I know the high desert is happy to have something different up here and not have to go down the hill!

Great atmosphere and service. The food is also delicious with very large portions and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this place for all.

Definitely must try !!! Great hospitality, ambiance and food! New favorite spot out in the high desert! I love that it is family oriented
