Rocking K Ranch

Rockin' K Ranch is such a pleasant surprise! It's in a super random area, but wow--what an amazing experience. The atmosphere is everything you'd want from a cozy, country-style cabin, and the food? Absolutely incredible.We started with the complimentary cornbread, which was warm and delicious, and the baked potato soup--comfort food perfection. The burger was hands down the BEST I've ever had, and the beer-battered fries were crispy and flavorful. The cherry on top (literally) was their pies. They had a wide selection for just $2 a slice! Our favorites were the banana cream and blueberry cream--both were out of this world.The service was equally fantastic. Jose was our server, and he was on it the whole time! Super friendly, attentive, and helpful, he really added to the experience.The ranch also has tons of parking, so no stress about finding a spot. Everything we ordered was a hit, and we can't wait to come back for more. If you're in the area (or even if you're not!), this place is a must-visit. I do not think we will ever be back to this area so will miss it!

Last night my family and I went to Rockin K for dinner. It will be the last time I go there. Server was ok. He tried to be funny and kept tossing things at us and to my son. I thought it was pretty rude after the second time. He favored the table behind us flirting with the girls ordering drinks. We kept having to flag him down for a refill or simple requests. We had to ask him to come back to order an appetizer because as soon as he got our drinks he walked away so fast. The worst part of the night which I'm still paying for... I order the special which is called pile of prime. It was DISGUSTING to say the least. It was a pile of mashed potatoes covered in steamed (microwaved) onions and mushrooms no sauce on them. Then a mountain of sliced prime steak I guess and then all of that is covered in brown gravy. When it came, I took one look and hoped it tasted better than it looked but no such luck. It was SO bland!! I added salt and pepper, didn't help at all the gravy was absorbed in the meat only and that didn't even have flavor. I moved it around in hopes to get some gravy on the potatoes but there was just way too many veggies to get to it. The veggies were definitely in a microwave because at the bottom of the plate, there was water surrounding the potatoes. Watery potatoes were so gross. After 3 bites I couldn't stomach it anymore. We called the waiter over and told him how bad it was and he decides to share with us that the pile of prime is made from all their prime cuts they don't sell over the weekend or the week and they slice it up and created pile of prime. Who knows how old that meat was. I have no idea why they are even selling that. They really went downhill so fast. I came home with a stomach ache and still feeling sick to my stomach today. I will never return here. It was my go to in town before. Done.

We have been eating at this restaurant since they opened and we have noticed that over the last few months the service and food quality has declined.It was my wife's birthday on Saturday and that's why we went out to eat. In the past, we normally order the 20 ounce prime rib and my wife and I split it. We don't get anything extra so the sides that come with it we split it. To our surprise, they have implemented a policy now that they charge $10 extra if you order one meal and split it. The interesting thing is that you don't get anything extra for those $10. Maybe this is their cost to wash one dish, heck I don't know.So we wound up ordering two separate dishes, I requested my steak medium rare which is what I always get, however, I received a completely rare steak. I'm attaching a photo so you can judge yourself.In the past, if it's been my birthday or my wife's birthday, they have always brought a slice of pie at the end to celebrate the birthday, BUT this time we did not get squat. I had mentioned it to the waiter when we arrived but that didn't seem to do anything. Rocking K Ranch had become our favorite restaurant and we've taken many friends there but after this experience and the fact that their service and the quality of food has gone downhill terribly we willnever return and cannot recommend them any more.

Yummy. My husband brought me here out of the blue while we were driving through. I was pleasantly surprised. Great looking building out then you walk in and wow. Food was great. Service excellent.

You need to go on the weekend but the prime rib is absolutely fabulous. The service and the atmosphere are nice

If you are ever in the neighborhood, this restaurant is a MUST STOP and eat here!!! We arrived right when they opened at 11am, and were greeted by friendly faces. We selected this restaurant as we were visiting family who live in Hemet. It is a beautiful restaurant with a beautiful tree with lights hanging on the branches inside. This was our first time there! Our server Michael K was very friendly and outgoing. He made sure we had everything we needed, and throughout our meal kept returning to ask if we were doing okay and if we needed anything else. We ordered a bunch of appetizers as we like to have choices , {ahi poke nachos , jalapeño poppers, Brussel sprouts, potato wedges, and onion rings}. The Flavors of all the dishes were spectacular!! Of course we couldn't finish them, so we packed them up and moved on to ordering our main dishes. French dip sandwich, Turkey croissant club sandwich, and pulled pork sandwich. Oh MAN! You MUST taste it to appreciate the food here!!! Obviously, we couldn't finish that because we wanted to save room for dessert!!! Double cream blueberry pie, double cream lemon pie, Kahlua cream pie, and peach cobbler pie was ordered.. uhhhhhmazzzzing.... As we're packing up our food to take home so those who couldn't make it with us today could enjoy the food as well... Michael let us know he was a fairly new server. We congratulated him on a job well done! You couldn't tell he was new with the service we received! Thank you Rocking K Ranch for such a wonderful experience at your beautiful establishment.

The beer is cold and the food and service has been amazing every time I go! Good coverage of sports in the bar seating area with multiple TV'sI've had different kinds of burgers and they are cooked to perfection. Make sure and ask for extra napkins!

I've been here before and was terribly disappointed at the lack of service this time around. After waiting over 20 minutes, I walked up to the bar to get my own drink since we were totally ignored. Surprisingly, that didn't help get service to my table. We were so disappointed that we left without ordering.Now if the place was crowded or it was a holiday, I'd understand but that was not the case whatsoever. In the past, I've enjoyed their food but didn't get a chance this time around. We went next door to the Mexican place and really enjoyed our meal. Also, the sweet girl serving us made me feel welcomed and appreciated. I'll go yelp them a good review now!!!

Fried green beans have finally arrived!!!We were told our wait would be 5 minutes but it turned into 39 minutes at least. And that was after going up to the host and inquiring about being seated. We were taken to our table and received a glass of water right away then placed our order 5 minutes later. But we waited about 20 minutes before our fried green beans came and my husband's iced tea. When I asked about my iced tea, they realized I hadn't received it yet. When it came, I was shocked to find out it was an alcoholic drink. Not what I expected. So they took it back and brought me a regular iced tea. About-5 minutes later our food finally came, BUT we had to wait for silverware. Overall, the food was good and the service was good. But a restaurant this size should never tell their customers they were not expecting to be this busy.
