Riverside Food Lab

Really liked the Riverside Food Lab. There is a nicely curated selection of counter restaurants to choose from. There are a lot of vegan restaurants too. Seating is a little limited so to go is probably best. The Lab is located right downtown so it's convenient to hotels and the convention center. Highly recommend.

Parking can fill up fast, especially during peak hours, so aim to arrive early.The Food Lab is a must-visit if you're in Riverside. Here you will find a little bit of everything and then some.It's a great social hub. We are all different and like different things. Here everyone can be happy. My personal favorite is babas chicken but there is so many other delicious options.All staff members are friendly and helpful. Love that there is 2 separate bars for beer and liquor. Been quite recently, mainly for Montys since I'm a fan of their vegan burgers and hot dogs. I also liked Baba's hot chicken. Loose Leaf Tea boba was good when first opened, now it's just ok. But man oh man. Since this place opened like almost 7 years ago now, it's kind of declined. The vendors haven't been very good. Quality is not great actually. Even my fav Montys doesn't quite taste as good anymore. It's a bummer because this is much closer to me. And ofc everything is overpriced. I recently checked out the Redlands Public Market which I felt was more superior food-wise than here. Haven City is also better in Rancho.

I love this place it's a lot of different things to pick from I like the hot chicken sandwich in here and the vegan hamburger spot I forgot the name of it but the burger is so good I forgot it's not meat..lol

A locals favorite!second time i get to visit this place. it was a bit warm. seems like they don't run their ac properly doesn't help that there is a lot of food businesses. it felt so muggy in there. They do have an outside seating area with view to the downtown area. conveniently located downtown Riverside parking can be hard to find if busy but there is parking in the back. Here you can find Ramen, Pizza, Mediterranean, Cajun, and Mexican along with vegan options. you can also find tasty drinks and some nice desserts. service from there corner bar was okay, though the server did state that they would be closing soon. family friendly. plenty of seating inside and out.

The food lab was poppin; especially on weekends when it draws in crowds the larger crowds. Even though it's on the smaller side, there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for everyone. Plus, there's a cool bar with a wide range of drinks, making it a great hangout for anyone wanting to chill. An attached parking garage also makes it super easy. This time, we went for Shrimp Shack, and it did NOT disappoint. The shrimp were perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We couldn't resist ordering a few items to share.

Another Inland Empire find. Lots of artisanal eateris and bars to choose from. If you are a foodie then this is the place to visit. Their current event is "College Night at the Food Lab" which happens every Thursday night. This is the day that college students get a discount on food and drinks when you present your valid student ID. Also from Tuesday to Thursday, the Riverside Game Lab is offering Happy Hour where games are 50% off from 5 - 9 PM.

The ambience at this place is lively. It is a location with a few food vendors. Whatever the weather is, this spot seems to be a good place to hang out at.

Weather permitting, sit outside. Inside can get loud and hot, and if you're close to the bathroom, smelly. For selection is good, fun for everyone, with beer!
