Decent art walk. I've deff been to much better ones though. It's on the first Thursday of every month. Since I'm new to the area, I decided to check it out to see what Rachetside has to offer. The artist lot is pretty small. The vendors at the lot weren't that interesting when I visited. I do appreciate the opportunity to tour several local museums for free though. I enjoyed the metropolitan museum of art and the RAM. Both are very small but offer a few interesting exhibits. Walking around the life arts center was deff the highlight of the night. It was such a cool historic art space for local artists. They also have live music on the balcony, how nice. Actually there was live music in downtown through out the event and quite a few local businesses including bars and restaurants participate in and offer discounts and specials for the art walk. Overall, it is well organized and got a good vibe. I'd say it's worth doing at least once. It was deff nice to see downtown Rachetside getting artistic and lively for a change!!

If you're in the area or looking for something fun and chill to do on a thursday night, then you have to come here! Its ONLY on the 1st thursday of each month! There is an outside lot and a building across the street that you can walk around and appreciate and purchase if you're interested. It's almost like a swapmeet but for art. They have a live band playing on the 3rd floor of the building and in the basement theres always some type of performance or show. As you walk through the different booths and rooms, some even let you create art of your own! it's overall a very cool experience to enjoy with family and friends!

So Riverside has an art walk and it was spread out pretty wide with one vendor village in the lot next to Pixels and lots of entertainment spread throughout. I didn't get to visit the artist's lofts because of time and a grumpy mister but I'd say overall it was ok. Not as packed or happening as other cities, but I think because it's so spread out it's kind of hard. There were art walk specials at a few local bars and restaurants which is an incentive to come out and check everything out. Also there was free admission to the photo museum which was nice.

This event is wonderful! First Thursday of every month. The vendors are always so sweet and incredibly talented. Parking is tricky, but at least it's free! It's a very fun walk-around, I try to go as often as I can to support local artists.

Great to go view. But horrible experiences await if your an artist vendor. You will get...1. Treated like dirt, yet you will try and stay quiet so that you can continue the event you've planned and paid for.2. No common courtesy for unloading, but Rachael Driznowski's bf can park illegally the whole event.3. An added vendor squeezed into your spot because they sold your spot twice, and do so without even asking.4. Treated in a very unbusiness like manner. Currently working with the mayors office to solve this unethical conduct as they get funded mainly by the city of Riverside.

Been here a few times and have loved it every time! Great little event to go to to check out art works and what not from local artists. People are usually nice, never experienced or seen any kind of drama. Parking is a little tough but I've been having luck near the riverside convention center. Great places, great vibes, and awesome art! Definitely worth checking out, if you're in the area or want to explore. I highly recommend for anyone!!

Ok this is an old time classic for us. Cause we have gone off and in for years. The crowd is still the same and just different people walking around. I like how there is a diverse group of artist and they have great prices. My complaint and why I knocked it down 2 stars is because it is not big. It is so small and they have one building and a parking lot with art and that is all. I wish they had more live music and food vendors like food trucks on Main st. This can be a great art walk if they improve on the atmosphere. My suggestion is to close down Main st get more vendors from all types art and food trucks. This would greatly up the attendance and make downtown a great art walk. Come on Riverside we are the city of Arts and innovation.

I am writing this review about The Riverside Art Walk to let everyone now my experience with the vendor process. I am to say the least very disappointed with the whole process. Last month (March 2014) I turned in my application for April 2014 and was told, "thank you we will have a space reserved for you next month." I arrived today ready to set up and was told by the very unprofessional staff that I didn't have a spot because I did submit my reservation online. When I explained to them what was told to me they said to me in a condescending tone that we'll if you didn't sigh up online you have to go on the waiting list. The waiting list had like 20 people on it. I kept telling them that this had to be a mistake that I was told that it would have a spot. They kept telling me no that's not the way it works. So I asked to speak to a supervisor and in a sarcastic manor they told me she had not arrived yet. A few other girls showed up that said they worked there and I told them my situation and the girl told me "I don't know what you want me to do". I told her that I had all my items here I was already to set up I had friends and family here to help support my business. I was and am very upset, disappointed and embarrassed. The staff at the vendor check in table talked to me as if I were stupid like I should have already known all this info. This was my first time selling my jewelry at the art walk. I even read the web site to the girl telling her that there was nothing on the website about online reservations. The whole experience was horrible I felt as if the rug was yanked out from under me. I have never felt so humiliated in my whole life. The least the staff could have done was say I'm sorry you were misinformed let me see what I can do for you. Even if there were no solution to my problem at least try and say something nice to me thats why I got mad and started yelling. I may have not acted professionally but neither were the Riverside Art Walk vendor staff. BAD BAD EXPERIENCE. NOT RECOMMENDING THIS TO ANYONE. LACK OF COMMUNICATION
