Rising Savor

This is a little place tucked in the Food 4 Less plaza. So there's plenty of parking but also a busy parking lot. The seating area has only a few booths, so this is definitely not a place for a large crowd. The menu is on the wall behind the counter. The staff is friendly and will answer any questions you may have. The have rice noodles which is why I chose to try this place. The food was good with big portions. And they serve Pepsi products. "I'll be back".

This was an interesting experience. First, the staff is SUPER friendly! It's an average Chinese fast food place but while I was waiting and looking around, I noticed they could use some remodeling and fresh paint. I ordered a combo with chow mein only, egg roles, and beef with broccoli, then a side of cream cheese won tons. The wontons were made fresh and had good flavor but a bit too much onion. They were sweet and had crab but the onions were a bit overwhelming. But they were fresh and stuffed to the brim which I appreciate. The chow mein was the most interesting. They were literally bright orange noodles and were sweet as if they were sweet potato noodles. So weird. Not many veggies in the noodles. I had one big chunk of celery and one big onion slice. The beef with broccoli looked good but it was SOOOOOO salty and really tough to chew. Unfortunately I won't be back but I do appreciate the kindness of the staff.

I loved this spot! Starting from coming and feeling welcomed. To the yummy food! I got the chow mein, fried rice, beef broccoli and shrimp coconut! Everything was delicious and fresh! Everyone was so friendly! My kids loved how they have a little claw machine so they got to play after they ate! I highly recommend this spot :)

Cheap , Huge portions , Staff is friendly! Food is great and flavorful . It's a hole in the wall Chinese spot don't expect to much . Oh their coconut shrimp is to die for they make it with pineapple something I'm not use to but still BOMB !

Food was good orange chicken was a bit watery at first but after I left it in the fridge for some reason it tasted way better lol. Chow mean is really good the workers were nice and the portions are so big!!! Two plates could feed a family of 4 for sure and prices is very reasonable in this economy . Really really solid 4 stars

Only thing I have to say about this place, THEY HAVE THE BEST BBQ PORK I HAVE EVER TASTED!!!!They rock out their chinese food, probably the best I have ever tasted.

There's a stereotype among chinese takeout restaurants, where 3.5 is the sweet spot you should look for to determine if a restaurant is good. If you're looking for tasty Chinese food with cheap yet huge portions, you've stumbled across the right place. Not only does the restaurant pass the 3.5 stars test, the portions they give out are generous and the food always tastes good. Upon trying their bbq pork for the first time, I was amazed at how well it was cooked and kept thinking about how much I paid. The pork had an intense yet satisfying smokey flavor and was super tender. The orange chicken (although in recent years I've gotten tired of the dish itself) was great and way better than anything I've got in the area. I also got the pineapple shrimp, which fulfilled my craving for honey walnut shrimp (which I am a huge fan of). In terms of the restaurant itself, the service is pretty good. The ladies working always stuff the take out boxes and are usually pretty friendly. Rising Savor has to be my top choice for cheap and filling food around the Riverside area. No other Chinese restaurant has portions this large, had their food this good, and has their prices this low.

Bought orange chicken and steamwhite rice 4:30pm 12/20/2024. Ate half, from 7:00pm until 11:00pm i was violently ill. Always heard from the tax place next door to rising savor that cockaroachs Would scurry into the wall into that restaurant but didn't believe it. Now I do.

Greatest chinese takeout in riverside. i always come here when i can't decide . i got the SHRIMP and broccoli chicken and orange chicken ,it was juicy with great flavors. Chicken was not dry at all and the shrimp is one of my favorite. The workers r very nice and happy and helpful .it is definitely a hole in the wall with ENORMOUS portions

Friendly service for just ok food. All I ever ordered from here was the chow mein because every time I ordered protein (bbq or orange chicken) it was always overcooked hard pork and the chicken didn't have enough meat to it, just was orange batter, anyway they do have delicious chow mein but went in today and will be my last, they raised the price from 5.59 to 6.69! I get it, everyone is feeling it but a whole dollar on noodles??! I wouldn't know the price increase for other items but I'd imagine it's more since most items are priced higher than the chow mein. Anyway, that's that, Good Bye Rising Savor!
