Pinball paradise and other retro games! You know that skit about the guy on a dating show who is only there for the zip line? When I hit an arcade, I'm really only there for the pinball. Fortunately, this place did not disappoint. I paid a flat fee and got a wristband that marked my end time. All of the games were free/unlimited play, and there were lots of pinball machines. I don't think any of them were out of service, which is super impressive! I got a chance to play each machine. My favorites were Jaws and Game of Thrones. It's always such a delight to get to play on functioning, quality, retro machines. Retrovolt also had retro games other than pinball. I tried a couple, including the ninja turtles one. But... as I said... I was really there for the pinball. Overall, I highly recommend this spot. It clearly had some regulars, but everyone there was friendly and encouraged others to get in on the game play. I would absolutely return next time I have the opportunity.

I never tire of going to Retrovolt, as I know that I will find something new and interesting, on each visit.I'm primarily a pinball fan, but I will occasionally play arcade games. The arcade is constantly rotating pinballs and video games, so you'll find something that catches your attention. Recently, some Japanese arcade games have been added. There are now a few driving games, a few more shooting games, and a 4-player Pac-Man game. Pinballs range from classic 70s to modern machines. The majority of the pinballs are modern Stern machines, but you'll find Bally's/Williams tables from the golden age of the 90s. Currently, my favorite, Theatre of Magic is in the arcade. I know that it will eventually go away, but for now, I am happy to see her on each visit. Since opening, a separate party room has been added. This room holds quite a few people and can be rented for a reasonable charge. Retrovolt often has special events, particularly around their anniversary. There are specials during the week for those who want to play for more than an hour. They recently added Wednesday to the rotation. They're closed Mondays and Tuesdays, unlessed rented out for a private event. (Do yourself a favor, rent out the arcade. It is well worth it!)Despite the rising cost of everything, Retrovolt has kept their $10 an hour price consistent. Staff is courteous and helpful. They're fans of these classics and can help explain the rules to those who are new to the games. Don't be afraid to ask.Check out the bathroom!

After grabbing pizza next door, I decided to head over to Retrovolt to get some gaming in as I've been scoping arcades for my nephews/niece for possible birthday parties. I bought an all day pass for one weekend day, and I believe it was $25 which isn't bad at all. I spent about 3 hours playing and had my fill of all these old school games. There's a big screen TV on one of the walls that have a PS5 hooked up to it.. There are more classic games here compared to Extraordinaire Arcade, but both of these venues are incredibly strong offerings. The really cool thing about Retrovolt is that they coordinate with the pizza parlor next door for private parties. That's a huge bonus for both business. Games work well, and I had no issues with the joysticks or buttons. I'd definitely come back again at least for myself or with friends if we don't schedule private parties here. Cheers, and enjoy playing!

I have an 11 year old son who is really into retro video games and who has expressed to his father and I how he wished he could experience an old school arcade like what we use to play at . I scoured the inter webs to see if such a place still existed amongst the round ones and Dave & busters of the world. Lo and behold I found retrovolt arcade! We drove an hour to surprise our son on his birthday and were not disappointed! Retrovolt is tucked away in a small shopping area , it is clean , staff is friendly and jam packed with all the classics! Street fighter 2 and mortal kombat 2, donkey Kong , my son was on cloud 9. I loved the family 4 pack play by hour option too. I would also like the mention they have a bathroom and it is well kept ! We will be making the hour drive to come again. Thank you Retrovolt for making my son's day!

This place is located in calimesa in a little parking lot next to a few places to grab a bite to eat or a drink before or after the gaming madness! 10 dollars for an hour of unlimited plays or 25 dollars for an all day pass.Time will go by quick in here, I would suggest getting the all day pass if your dead set on completing some games to the very end like I am! Or if you're trying to get the new high score and have your initials display at the end of your favorite game! It's a great place for kids and teens to come to and hang out since there isn't much to do for the younger crowd in this town. It's also great for adults who want to go back to that nostalgic feeling you had as a kid walking into the Mall just to go straight to the arcade and spend time there all day playing games.Remember the 90s, 2000s era? If you don't, just come here and it will jog your memory!

One of the IE area's best-hidden gems is this arcade. With well-preserved arcade games from the 90s and a mix of new and old pinball machines, this spot is sure to have at least one game you'll enjoy. My dad, a huge gaming nerd (in a good way), has introduced me to and influenced my love for a variety of games, including pinball (although I'll admit, I'm better at digital pinball than the real deal). This arcade boasts some of the best and most entertaining pinball machines available. Every visit seems to reveal something new, and hours can fly by in the blink of an eye.The entrance fee is incredibly affordable, $10 for an hour, and depending on the day, it can range from $15 to $25 for a day pass. With that price, you can play any game in the store without additional fees.On a small note, if you're sensitive to noise (like me), consider bringing noise-canceling headphones or earplugs because this place can get extremely loud. The music is often blasting, and sometimes, young children run wild and scream. Despite that, this spot is a fantastic place to hang out and have fun with friends, family, and kids without spending a fortune. Plus, there are plenty of food spots nearby to grab a bite before or after your gaming session.

Cool place! Nice interior. Good selection of pinball machines, some popular ones and some more niche. All that I played were in great working condition. A couple retro games as well. Worth the $10 for an hour!
