The only reason this place gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because they still only accept cash. Which I get an honestly appreciate, but when we go my husband and I constantly forget this little detail and we need to pull at cash there at the atm they have, and pay an additional fee. Other than that, the food is absolutely amazing, especially for price and quantity. The only thing I suggest is if you are on a "healthy" diet, maybe only eat 2 eggs. Haha. The ambiance is cute, cozy, & reminiscent. Reminds me of grandmas house. I love it. We will go whenever we get the chance.

Food is always delicious! They have the biggest pancakes here and so yummy! Service is outstanding as is the coffee! Nice quiet place to come and have breakfast or lunch always great to come eat here.

Great food. Had the steak highly recommended. Place very nice and clean. Bathrooms clean as well. Parking is small but trying this place the first time recommend.

I like the food don't get me wrong, but man the employees just look unprofessional, the utensils look dirty all the time, the environment can use a good clean up.... Again, food can be good. I don't mean to speak on a mom and pop breakfast restaurant like this because I'm all for it but a simple deep clean can't be too expensive or hard. Almost forgot to mention, the restroom needs a huge renovation..

This place has really lost it. I was so disappointed after me and my whole family got sick after hearing here. I hope the employees have a separate restroom from the customers because it is really gross and can't think anyone can walk out of that restroom with clean hands as a gas station bathroom will likely be cleaner.It was gross to sit at a sticky table and the food was not tasty and obviously made us sick.

This place is a hidden gem, tons of charm, and the staff is great. The food portions are large and very traditional café style. They only take cash, so be prepared and make sure to order the pancake! there was live music and that was such a treat for breakfast! If I am in the area again, I would definitely stop in again

Yelp, attention. SLANDER should be policed.I've been eating at this restaurant for over 30 years, the food classic. I've brought visiting friends from other countries and they were blown away by the food and service.Senior citizens are here all the time and of all ethnicities.Ignore the slander.I worked with "Elmer Dills" the food critic for many years, I know restaurants.

Tried this place out first time. Very uncrowded at 7 am weekday.Very reminiscent of 50s-60s "greasy spoon dinner. Not bad thing, just what it appears. Food was not spiced, ie little salt, but you can fix that. This may be a positive for those watching their salt. Had a doctor appointment just after. My doctor asked if the crew was a bunch of little old ladies, "Nah more like 3 retired navy crewmen running a diner. He also said I shouldn't eat a meal like this, what does he know.Ordered chicken fried steak which come with a big plate of hash browns and 3 eggs, a medium size chicken fried steak with gravy. Also choice of one bread side, mine was biscuit and gravy.With salt and pepper the hash browns and eggs were good, and hot. Ditto the chicken fried steak. I like bigger steak but OK for the price.The biscuits and gravy were a letdown, they were cold, not even warm and the biscuits were dense. Feels like they were sitting on a shelf in the kitchen without heat. About average but the biscuits kept the score down maybe a 2.5, can't do that, so a 3.

Went in today, Feb 18 with my 2 disabled aged parents. This young lady was kind and accommodated us well and seated my parents at the nearest booth. But this horrible white man was so rude that he wanted my parents to move to the farthest table, the lady said it's ok just stay in their table but this arrogant man insisted that we move, which will be hard for my disabled parents to move. Then we found out that at 9:45am they ran out of pancakes and French toast, wow, breakfast restaurant without pancakes, what a joke!!! We left right away because my parents would want to order pancakes. We just went to IHOP across the street. If only we can give zero rating for the arrogant rude white man working there, then they have no more pancakes, please don't ever go here. We were trying to support local business but they have a demon working inside. Beware! Go somewhere else!!!
