Hard to believe I've never done a review for Rancho De Philo. They're one of the last remaining wineries from the early days of wine in Rancho Cucamonga Valley, and California for that matter. Sherry is their specialty and that's all they produce. To say they have perfected it is an understatement! The winery and vineyard sit in the middle of a rural, residential neighborhood and they only open two weekends a year in November. You can do a free tasting before purchase and they usually sell out of the current vintage of Sherry quickly, so make sure you keep up with them on social media to know the exact dates and times they're open. Also be on the lookout for crafts from local artisans that they put out for sale on those two weekends.

The Sherry is out if this world!! We've been coming here yearly for about 10yrs and buying a couple of bottles. It's always a beautiful atmosphere with music and cheer! We look forward to it. The Sherry has really increased in price - doubled in the last 4 yrs. This year we bought our two bottles but cringed a little. We'll be back next year!

An extraordinary find! This winery's Sherry selection is unparalleled, and the staff's recommendations added a personal touch to the tasting experience. The ambiance, resembling a private estate, creates a charming atmosphere. The exclusive November Sherry sale adds an element of anticipation to this phenomenal, must-visit winery.

A small quaint winery that was built by the former president of Brookside Winery. Open to the public for Sherry sales for a short time each November. The quality of the Triple Cream Sherry is outstanding. The winery started selling Sherry to the public in the mid 70's. You would be doing yourself a favor if you were to stop by on the weekend in November take a tour and sample their Sherry. Of course you want to take some of the Sherry home to serve to friends or enjoy as a after dinner drink. I should add that the Winery is still family owned and operated.

Mark November on your calendar. You see, this tiny, family winery is only open in November, and only as long as their stock lasts. You get a private announcement in the mail once a year to let you know they are getting ready for opening day. They only do one thing, SHERRY. And it is the most divine sherry ever. You have to buy several bottles, not because they say so, but because once you open your first bottle, it will magically disappear and you won't have more to allow it to age. This sherry ages so well, we have some more than 8 years old now, and it is priceless. It is so sippable it will blow your socks off and your eyes will roll in the back of your head. Yes, that wonderful. It wins blue ribbons at the LA County Fair almost every year. And that is before it ages.Opening day is very special. They hire a Renaissance instrumental quartet for live music, give you a taste of that year's (and sometimes the years prior), have some appetizers to nibble, and the owners graciously smooze and greet their guests. You get to go into the musty old barn where they store their wine barrels and do their blending, and sniff that gorgeous smell. And all for free. You actually forget for an instant that your are in crazy So. Cal and feel all warm and huggy. This is a special place and a opening day is such a special event. We go, rain or shine. I know there is at least one restaurant that carries limited stock of their sherry, Le Rendezvous in San Bernardino, if you want a taste preview. If you go, please tell them Wendy sent you.

Had no idea I liked triple cream sherry but a friend assured me to give it a try. So we embarked on an adventure and was not disappointed. The owners gave us full permission to wander the grounds and contemplate the universe, with a little sherry in hand. You can taste vintages from three years and the owners provide mini muffins, almonds and rice crackers for palate cleansers.

Drove by the winery today and I just had to write a review! It's nearly fall my most favorite time of year and that means Rancho De Philo will be gracing us with their silky, rich and wonderful triple cream Sherry. I make a mean soufflé and my husband loves to enjoy it with their sherry. I can't wait until November! A MUST try! The Sherry. My soufflé is too but that's more of a private tasting :)

If only I could give more stars I would. This is a hidden gem for wine lovers. Best red wine I've ever had. I can tell as I entered the winery, omg, the aroma is very inviting. I can't describe it, you gotta be there to tell. I'm actually holding out on the review because didn't want to share, but good things MUST be shared! Also check out Janine's pomegranate jelly, it's out of this earth.I have been their regular annually. yes, annually, the owners only open 2 weeks in a year.

Excellent help at Metro PCS by T mobile at the Phillips Ranch location. Ana was very helpful when my new phone was having issues and quickly and curtiously solved my issue. I also observed a young man assisting an elderly Spanish speaking couple and he was very kind and patient . A great experience . Will recommend the service and location.
