Great selection of beers. I'm not a fan of hoppy stuff (yeah, yeah, call me old fashioned) and I had enough choices to make me very happySpacious "beer garden" with ample seating and a spot for my pup. So glad Upland has another great choice for fantastic beer!

In the 18th century, a tavern was not just a place to drink--it was a theater of life. One could expect to find tankards overflowing with ale, roaring laughter, and perhaps a bar wench or two of generous proportions, bustling about with trays balanced precariously yet miraculously unspilled. It was, in short, a spectacle for all the senses. Imagine my curiosity, then, as I stepped into Pro-Five Brewing Company in Upland, California, a modern brewery promising ales and camaraderie but sadly devoid of wenches to gander at.The ambiance was markedly different from my time--well-lit and clean, without a single hay-covered floorboard in sight. The draft list offered brews with names as curious as they were bold: "Hanma Japanese Lager," "BloodBro Wheat," and "OneEightyThree West Coast Pilsner." These monikers, while intriguing, were no match for the straightforwardness of my era's offerings, which were often labeled simply as "Ale" or "More Ale."I ordered the "Supplemental IPA," expecting perhaps a liquid elixir that would invigorate both body and spirit. It arrived in a glass so pristine it could have doubled as a scientific instrument. The beer itself was a marvel--a burst of citrus, berry, and floral notes that cascaded across my tongue like a well-rehearsed symphony. It was as if the hops had been choreographed by a master brewer with an eye for perfection.Yet, I confess, I felt a pang of longing for the tavern wenches of old. No busty lasses with hearty laughs and stronger arms than half the gentry. Instead, the staff at Pro-Five were polished, efficient, and entirely respectable--a credit to their craft but lacking in the theatrical flair of their 1700s counterparts. Still, their courteous service and evident passion for brewing made up for this notable absence. The patrons were an interesting lot, more engaged with glowing rectangles than with each other, a habit that in my time would have been attributed to witchcraft or lunacy. Nevertheless, the outdoor patio offered a lively atmosphere where both people and their loyal hounds mingled freely--a charming touch reminiscent of a village green.Despite the absence of traditional tavern spectacles, I found myself thoroughly entertained by the quality of the brews and the convivial setting. Pro-Five Brewing Company has managed to craft an experience that honors the ancient art of brewing while embracing the conveniences of modernity.Four out of five stars--for the extraordinary ales, the inviting ambiance, and the proof that one can have a time worthy of being had, even without the distraction of a large-busted bar wench bustling about. A visit well worth the journey, though I shall raise my glass to the wenches of old all the same.

We go to Pro Five for the trivia and music bingo. We like that it is less busy and quieter than Stackz Co. I wish they had food besides outside vendors as it can be a bit hit or miss. Sometimes the food is good, sometimes it's overpriced and subpar. I wouldn't go hungry and bank of getting a good meal. The staff is super nice though. Super great vibes!

I frequently pass by this brewery and often tell myself I should visit. Eventually, I decided to go. Parking can be challenging because it's all street parking, which might be difficult if the area is busy. The brewery was larger than I anticipated, and it has a nice backyard patio that would be enjoyable on a warm day. They were doing construction inside, so we couldn't sit there, but the space looked roomy with plenty of seating. I definitely want to return to sample more of their beers.

The location is awesome. Outside is nice with a bunch of picnic tables and tv's for games. It's Sunday and there is a live band . Staff is really nice . They also have a pupusa vendor here right now and the food is really good. The is Meh, nothing special about it, it's not even enjoyable to drink. Had other beers and are really good. Besides that a place to come check out

Great ambience & a good selection of good tasting beer. Merch is also available & some items are discounted. Went on a Saturday afternoon & wasn't busy so idk if that's good or bad but service was good. Some breweries don't let you have a running tab but here they do. I'll be back, hopefully they can add more tvs in backyard.

Great new brewery here in Upland, with great beers, service, and ambiance. You can either start a tab at the front or sit yourself down over in the picnic table area and scan the QR code and the ladies at the front will bring your beer over to you. I went to the front, and the ladies were very welcoming and the place was very clean. The selection of beers is quite minimal at the moment, but overall the IPAs were very good. I do wish they had some food options or snacks to eat with the beer aside from the vending machines beside the restrooms, but overall I would definitely come here again for drinks. All the beers ranged from $7-8, parking is free, they are open until 11 Pm, and patio area was overall quiet.
