Pizza 101

Pizza places are a dime a dozen. Great pizza places are jewels. PIZZA 101 is a jewel. This is it fellow yelpers - First time I've tried and they've been around for more than a decade! Not only pizzas- they have pasta, roasted stuffed bell peppers, cannolis - I won't mentioned what I haven't had so far for my future reviews. Margherita pizza with anchovies - added my own burrata - stuck it in the oven @350 on my ceramic pizza plate - took it out and added a cap full of my Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) and the result is authentic Firenze pizza. The Crust - the crust - the crust - perfect - airy and crunchy. Cheesy spinach artichoke was delicious. Our family is extra so we added our own marinated artichokes and stuck it in the oven as we did the Margherita. Drizzled a little EVOO and it was good to go. Al dente Penne Pasta in creamy but not too rich Alfredo sauce with generous pieces of juicy chicken chunks was addictive. Next time we are not sharing this one. I'm going to have my own. Cannolis - 1 Raspberry- 2 Chocolates and 1 Caramel. I had the chocolate - the shell tasted newly baked and tasty but more importantly - it did not crumble on each delightful bite - I was surprised to taste the filling expecting only a cream but it I tasted maybe some mascarpone or ricotta - I'm not really sure but I enjoyed it like I was in a sit down place. Great job on this one. I can't wait for another weekend of craving so I can try the other items in their menu - bbq ribs- Korean chicken wings coupled with their bacon Mac n cheese pasta and a Giant Mega Pepperoni 101 pizza. This place was a recommendation from a friend that lives in the area. A pretty solid pie with all sorts of variety!

Our family has been ordering from here for years. Most recent order:Pastrami hoagie 9.99Small original pepperoni pizza 13.74Large original Veggie 101 pizza 17.99Pork riblets 13 oz 8.99Total after 4.50 delivery fee and tax was 59.49Delivery took about 45 min, as stated when we ordered and driver was friendly.Food was very good and we'll probably order from them again.

A very dated website, with a cry for massive help on a redesign, and coding so that remote orders can be placed. If you want to quickly order, it's best to call in. Admittedly they have aggressive local marketing I.e USPS and flyers, which is a good sign for longevity of the business. On top of that they creative for like valentine day, and make / deliver heart shaped pizza. Their dough taste good - though upon reheat it could get pretty hard (that is when done via microwave) vs other chains. I've yet to try warming it up via the oven to see if that helps. Overall I'd rate their quality as good, not the best but good! A location I've been to multiple times and continue to see myself order from.

Staff: Everyone was very nice when we went to pick up the food. Each staff member wore a mask which was a welcome sight. Quality/Quantity:Got the buffalo wings which were very tasty. Not too hot but enough heat to make them tasty. The pizza was really good. Th crust was really good and the cheese was extra cheesy. We also got the garlic bread but it just needed to be cooked another 2 mins to reach the next level. Value: Our dear friends treated us so I am not positive of the price but I want to say it was about $60 for 4 pizzas, 2 wings, and garlic bread. For all that it is a great value. Overall:Very pleased at the service, food, and value. If this place was close to home I'd definitely return. Definitely recommend this establishment.

Tried it, probably will not go back. The pizza was delivered in a timely manner and the lady taking the order over the phone was very nice. However, the sausage in the sausage, onions, bell peppers, pepperoni, (black olives substituted for mushrooms) pizza tasted like plastic and the marinara sauce was bland.

Great pizza and reasonable prices! A little bit of a drive where we're located but still drive over at least 2 times a month.

I made an order today keep in mind I have been ordering food from here for years. never once have I had such a greasy pizza in all these years. I couldn't even eat it and the employee Austin refused to give me a refund. beyond disappointed

Entire family got food poisoning last night , ordered the football feast a pepperoni pizza and a pineapple pizza. All 5 of us got sick, when me and my husband called to notify management, we didn't even get an apology we were told by "ZEKE" that there is nothing he could do for us and told us to try and reach out to the owners and that he doesn't know when they will be in it's sparatic when they come in. I really hope no one else gets food poisoning since Zeke said there is nothing he could do about it. Very very disappointed especially since my family has been ordering from this place for years.

Love this place food is always excellent the Componets are always first quality and never disappoint Pastrami pizza is the best hands down Fast service Excellent prices
