3.8 starts. I have been to this establishment 2 times and i had a veggie burrito the first time and a BRC burrito (no rice) the second. Pros: fresh food, good portion size, good customer service, tasty salsaCons: i wish they had more meatless options, the flavor is just ok, my brc burrito had way too much onions and the cheese wasn't melted i couldn't finish it

Haven't had carne asada fries in awhile. But this was not bad! Definitely gave a good amount of runny guacamole, if not more than I wanted lol. Didn't need the extra side of guac for 75 cents. Green sauce is kinda spicy still but it's their lowest level of spice and it's medium. Honestly, it seemed spicier than the red sauce which is meant to be hot. Would've loved for there to be more tomatoes like a regular mild salsa. Fries were ok. $17 ish for extra guacamole and slight tip.

Ordered twice now. Loved the asada fries but the burrito was basically 80% tortilla rolled up with beans and partial meat..which is shitty since we're paying $13 for it. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and ordered it for the second time. we got two tortas and the fries again. Fries good...tortas...wtf?? The bread wasn't even slightly toasted. It looked like just a loaf of bread out of the bag with beans and literally a small scoop of meat... I gave it to the dogs because it was off... This place has great taste and potential...but I don't know if it's laziness or shrinkflasion??? Probably last time we get food from here as there are many Mexican food places with better quality and prices.

First time trying this place and disappointed to say that it might also be my last. I really really wanted to like this place because it's literally across the street from me, unfortunately it did not. As you can see I ordered the 3 taco plate, plain quesadilla, and carne asada fries. The tacos were average tasting, lacking flavor with the chicken and al pastor, however the barilla was the BEST. The beans and rice that came with the plate was awful, the rice was dry and the beans weren't what I'm used to eating. 2/5. The quesadilla was for my toddler, although it was super cheesy I've also had better. The best dish were the fries even tho the carne asada was a bit overcooked. The service was great and got my food super fast. Which I appreciate. Unfortunately I will not be a repeat customer.

I swung by Pio Pico's Tacos for lunch a few days ago, and left pretty satisfied. I ordered the classic street tacos, with two carne asada and two birria. They hit the spot for sure. The staff here are as friendly as they come; very down to earth. Plus, the place is kept clean, and those TVs playing sports games definitely added to the chill vibe. Solid spot for a taco fix!

I was in town visiting friends. We woke up hungry and thought we'd get Mexican for breakfast. Pio Picos Tacos opened at 10am so it was perfect timing for our group. The menu is not extensive and it's quite simple with 3 types of burritos, tacos, fries, nachos and quesadillas. We called in our order and picked it up to go. We got the carne asada nachos, carne asada fries, two birria taco plate that comes with rice and beans and the BRIC + meat burrito. I ate the burrito and it was disproportionally filled with rice and beans and not enough meat. The good thing is, the rice itself was good. It filled me up and went well with their green salsa that had a little heat with a tartness to it. We must have been one of their first customers. The place was empty when we arrived to get our food. Our food was neatly packaged and individually labeled so we didn't mix up any of the contents. There was no self serve salsa. We were given salsas at a 2 salsa per item average, which is so not enough. I don't get that. Why don't Mexican food joints just allow more salsa per order. I'm a bite and pour salsa per bite kind of girl and I'm going to need more than 2 salsas for my burrito. Overall it was reasonably priced and satisfied my hunger.

Poor quality asada to be honest. They've never made the necessary adjustments. They don't answer phone orders half the time. Just an all around 1/5 establishment. I really also don't understand why most products contain more rice and beans than meat. I've ordered from this spot numerous times, always in hopes they'll make a proper burrito. Done with them.

Small Mexican fast food restaurant. The service was nice and the restaurant was clean. We ordered the Asada fries and the fries were over cooked for my liking but I shared them and the person I was with preferred them that way.It was a beautiful design!
