We stopped by last weekend and had late lunch with my family . We were warmly greeted by our server. Location is in a small plaza on a busy street with plenty of parking. We had bun Bo fur and pho Bo and vegan spring rolls and chicken wings and egg rolls . All the food came out fresh and hot . Everything was delicious and I would definitely come back . I liked that they expanded their dine in area. Decor and ambiance was nice and very clean. Whatever you do don't go to pho ha down the street that place is disgustingly dirty and food quality is horrible.

Heard about this place through the grapevine but unfortunately wasn't as great of an experience as I'd hoped. We were seated pretty quickly and host was polite. Upon ordering we received some water and waited patiently. When our food arrived. An older gentleman essentially dropped our food off at the very end of the table and didn't explain which bowl belonged to whom. When I called out my bowl number he pretty much ignored me as well as inquires from everyone in our group. This resulted in a few orders getting mixed up and folks eating others food without realizing it. The pho itself was ok. Broth wasn't my favorite and the filet mignon I actually left some behind because it wasn't satisfying. The restaurant itself is really nice inside and the bathrooms were clean. Food could be better and SOME who work there need better customer service. I MAY be back if I'm in the area to give it another go. But as of now this is low on my list of the various Pho options in SB.

i'm a bun bo hue lover and i've tried places in san diego, orange, la, and more! i did not expect to find good bun bo in the ie but woah this spot may be my favorite ever to get bun bo hue!! def def get pickled onions on the side! the workers are also very friendly and even though we mistakenly ordered something they fixed it for us efficiently! i also ordered the che trai(?) the dessert with the coconut milk and jellies. but unfortunately due to the panda jelly being kinda hard n the other jellies being a lil uncooked ... but it definitely had a lot of potential as i still enjoyed it other than that!

Showed up at 7:31pm to dine in and was told in the nicest way to eff off . I asked why does the sign say until 8pm and their response was for pick up only . Their customer service wasn't like this up until they remodeled. Some times success isn't a good thing for the mom and pop businesses we support in the community. A bit overpriced and they might cater to their own ethnicity a bit better than other people.

I'm back at the restaurant! The BEST VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT I've have eaten! They have best food ever and all the staff are very courteous and friendly! The Vietnamese is very delicious highly recommended! I have tried almost every food in the menu and it's 100% delicious! I will give Pho Mai 100 thumbs up! This is truly an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The portions are extremely filling! You definitely get more than what you pay for. The space is pretty big and comfortable. The service was great, keep in mind this is a non and pop shop so they were extremely nice!The food also tasted amazing. My boyfriend loved their banh xeo dish. My go to drink here is their coconut juice. This combined with the pho?!?!? An elite combo!
