Pho island is a decent pho spot. I really like their number 9 which is their special combination pho. They have decent portions. The winner of the meal was the spring rolls with shrimp and pork combo. This was super filling, and I would come back for these alone. The service was decent, but you can definitely tell they are busy with to go's as well as dine in customers.

Got the "Lemongrass Chicken" at this place and was given basically a Kung Pao stir fry. Chicken was mid quality for a $20 price tag. Would not return here as the pho is good but not excellent and the stir fry dishes are made with dark meat chicken. Will never return here and please take your money somewhere else. I promise you when I say this.

It was another chore Saturday--laundry and grocery shopping. Out of convenience, we decided on Eastvale for 99 Ranch and Costco. My mother in-law was tired of eating ramen, Korean, and dumplings so she chose pho since she was craving summer rolls. Yelp led us to Pho Island Restaurant which was a measly ten minute drive away. We walked in and one of the staff said we could seat ourselves. They quickly handed us menus and brought us waters. Seeing that we had two young children, they also brought two small kid's bowls with a set of utensils. How considerate! My wife's attention was caught by the special--oxtail pho. She ordered an XL bowl while the in-laws ordered a large bowl. I went for my usual combination. Appetizers were the classic spring and summer rolls. The food was ready in under ten minutes and we were busy enjoying the food. The spring rolls were long and thin; not my preference as I prefer the fat, stocky, meaty ones. The summer rolls weren't anything too special and probably could have benefited from basil or mint. My wife's extra large oxtail pho had two large hunks of oxtail meat but both of them were surrounded by fat. She only has about five bites of actual meat. This place isn't a bad option. Would come back to try other menu items.

This was a close to home location that I've been coming here and there for pho over the years. I think it's a solid 4/5 but I think that my nostalgia has some part of the score as well. The service was fine, a little rushed and didn't have all of the answers, the interior has definitely gotten older as time went on, and the food was solid. Nothing to take of note other than I'd like for more flavor for my broth and I feel something was missing from the meal. 4/5

Quality here has dropped tremendously. Ordered the bun bo hue, the noodle is nonexistent. Couldn't even use the chopsticks since the noodles that actually inside are broken up. Voice my opinion to the waitress and she said yeah the kitchen used the "entire package" of noodle and left. We also got the pho special and there is nothing special about it. The meat is repetitive, no variety of meats, the XL is a scam just more noodles, so avoid it at all cost. Time to start finding another good pho place since it seems like this place cannot handle the new traffic and careless about their dish quality.

A long time ago, my boyfriend and I stopped by this restaurant to eat. The pho here was not delicious and had too much MSG.The people working in the kitchen talked loudly and cursed, every sentence was really dirty, my boyfriend is Vietnamese, he felt really uncomfortable and never wanted to return to this place!

Long overdue review but I come here whenever I fly into ONT airport. Great price and service and ambiance are what you'd expect for a pho shop. In the area, these guys are one of the OGs of pho but man oh man these long-ass menus remind me of my childhood and the pho spots with numbers in their name lol. Their pho itself is fine but my personal favorites are their rice dishes; if you don't know what you want, their bo luc lac (shaken beef with rice) is a winner in my book!

I have been obsessed with this place ever since I found out about it. I always get the small brisket pho and on occasion the chicken spring rolls. The pho broth is hearty and amazing, feels like a hug. The portion is pretty hefty for a small. I always order over the phone and they take about 10 - 15 minutes for the food to be ready. The service is quick and easy. Inside is pretty big and clean. I have yet to try their other dishes but the pho is a 10/10!
