Peony Chinese Cuisine

This place! First let me say that it has been over 8 years since I last ate at a Peony Chinese restaurant. There are three as far as I know and I've never been disappointed. So this year for my birthday I went home to CA and was treated to Peony Chinese takeout by my family. I had my usual Mongolian beef. It was EXACTLY how I remembered it! I have been away from CA a long time and to date, no Chinese food has lived up to the quality and taste of Peony. Thank you for your continued dedication to quality and consistency. In addition, my sister reports that ordering was quick and easy, and the food was ready right when they said it would be. Six stars!

Been going to Peony since 1991 in Murrieta. They have the best Sweet and Pungent Chicken anywhere. Matter of fact nobody makes it except Peony. Now that Murrieta store closed a few years ago I go to Temecula. It is my favorite dish they make. It is the only dish I get. Absolutely love Peony.

Peonies never disappoints. They continue to be one of my all time favorite chinese restaurants in the valley. I love the beef and broccoli their eggflower and won ton soup are delicious! The sweet and pungent chicken is very tasty! My dad enjoys the sweet and sour shrimp.

I didn't trust negative reviews until I try for myself, I should have believed the 3 star rating in this instance. The price was ridiculous for the quality and portions I got. The people working were nice enough but definitely would not try this again. Solid 2/5

They're great. Always so clean in there and they are always friendly. The house special chicken is amazing. Everything is cooked up for each order with large sharable portions. Love the "family style" method of serving food. They just do Chinese food in a consistent and high quality way. I used to go to the Murrieta location many years ago and recently rediscovered them at the Elsinore location. We'll be back.

If you want a Chinese food restaurant that doesn't disappoint. This is the place to go. They will NEVER disappoint!! The other location is ok but this lake Elsinore location will never disappoint! It's always hot, and the food portion is huge! Been coming here for a good 11/12 years now.

BEST CHINESE PLACE!! Food is so fresh an delicious me an my fiancé are always full an leave with plenty of leftovers lemon chicken and orange chicken are my favorite the orange chicken is nice an crispy unlike other place which are usually soggy even as leftovers they are still delicious, I've been going to the Temecula peonies since I was a kid and both locations Temecula and lake Elsinore never disappoint there food is always spot on an cooked to perfection always gonna go here, service is amazing always super friendly an helpful great place!!

What a shame this place used to be the best! Now it's sub parr and small portions to boot
