The name fooled me; Pelicana Chicken is a Korean style fried chicken, wings, and beer place. When a friend told me what it was, I was excited to try it. We went during the week in the evening. The decor was cool, and the interior was very clean and organized. We ordered the Corn Cheese, 9 Piece Chicken Wings, and of course some Cass Korean Beer. They also included free Cabbage Salad. It all reminded me of Korea. The corn was fantastic, and sauce on the chicken was very good. I also enjoyed the included Cabbage Salad. Regarding the service, it was excellent. The staff members checked on us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed.

3-stars for 22 minutes wait for a small to-go order after lunch rush (2:30 pm) 22 minutes!!!! for a chicken wrap and cupbop when there was literally one other party that's gotten their food and eating away. Don't go there between lunch and dinner. Clearly their kitchen staff is not available and whomever is making the simplest of these items took forever.

This chain has been around since 1982 and still thrieving. Everyone has different taste for like for fried chicken but I personally like Pelicana chicken better than other chains from Korea. Ambiance of this location was on point. I loved the wall art and layout of the restaurant. We went on a Sunday night and they were pretty busy with both take out and dinining in customers. I was happy to see mix of asian crowd and non-asian crowd (which means korean chicken is loved by every race). I love when chicken places have happy hour and this place has good happy hour and drink specials for Hallasan (buy 2 get 1 free). We ordered 18 piece original wings along with oninon rings and fries to start and pitcher of Stella and bottle of Soju to drink with side sauce of hot spicy. The owner and the worker is super friendly and kept asking us if we needed anything else. Owner actually recognized my aunt since she had been there couple times for togo. I love it when even though its take out they remember you it makes you welcomed. We wanted to try their chicken gizzard and had to order little more fried food so ordered sweet potato fries. Overall experience was great and I will definitely return. And for those who is new to korean chicken this is the spot you must check out. You can get variety of items here and their non-chicken menu tastes pretty amazing. Next time I visit I am definitely going to try their cheese ball and other korean pub dishes.

When I first visited the restaurant after it opened, I couldn't decide what to order so I left. It was also super packed that night.On my second visit, the restaurant was bit empty. Menu is simple to read but complicated to decide.I was still undecided so I asked the cashier which sauce flavor he would recommend.... Ambiance is nice and friendly staff.I ordered half and half - Crispy plain and signature flavor.It came with boxed daikon (it was ok) and Fries.We like the plain fried chicken but not the Signature flavor.

Decided to try out this place. Must start with the cheese bread. It was very savory and cheesy! Chicken wings were on point and the flavors were delicious. Service was great and the staff was friendly. I appreciate a clean and inviting restaurant atmosphere and will definitely come back for more!

We went on a Friday night. When we first seated, they were not busy, only have maybe 3-4 other tables that they were all eating already.We ordered:- Ban ban whole chicken half and half. Half with cheese and half with honey soy sauce on the side.- Oden soup (personal opinion, it was way too peppery and some of the Odens were still hard and not done cooking)- French friesAt first, fries came super fast.. then unsure what's the reason, it took us over 30 mins to receive the rest of our food. One of the servers then told us they were understaff... The place is clean and comfy. Several big TVs to watch different channels.

We stumbled upon this place because we were supposed to go somewhere else for lunch but the line was too long. I'm surprised I didn't try this place earlier. Nice and pretty hip ambiance with great selection of food and drinks. Even when you want to have a bite and hang out, they offer all those options. The chicken sandwich is bomb, it has a nice balance with the bun, fried chicken and cole slaw. The cup bop came in a good size too with rice and slaw. Service is attentive and nice. Definitely will come back to try their other menu items!

i've ordered togo from this location plenty of times. i like how they send you text messages when your food is ready for pickup. i always get their ban ban chicken with honey soy. their regular chicken has a lot of flavor and it still so crispy even as to go! the honey soy is my favorite sauce. it's the perfect blend of sweet and salty. i wish they gave more radish on the side though. pretty good portions!inside has plenty of seating, i'll have to try eating here in person one day
