Pada Sushi

The imitation crab that they use is like a mix, not like a chopped slice of imitation crab. Their imitation crab mix is sweeter than regular slices of imitation crab. It does not taste like authentic sushi, but it's not bad. I got the rainbow roll for $12.95. It was quick, already made, sitting there.

Writing this review in hopes that the owner will read this! The first time I tried a roll from here the rice was hard. The second time I tried nigiri sushi from here the rice was mushy. I really want to keep coming here to support small businesses. Please be more consistent with your rice! Rice is so important to eating sushi.

I wish so many others knew of this place here in Albertson's! They make their sushi fresh daily and they had made my rainbow roll right on the spot while I was there! The couple making the rolls was so kind to me, as well. excellent rolls and excellent service!

For my daughter's first birthday party, we wanted to order some simple sushi to have in addition to sandwiches. But, having that the party started at 11am, I could not find any sushi place that would make a platter for me to pick up in time for the party let alone be open at that time (well, I guess it's because no one eats sushi for breakfast..) After finding Pada's small Yelp existence, I did a little bit more research and found out that they are inside Albertson's and that a sister store in another Albertson's (in Fullerton) has party platters and opens at 9am! So, I decided to check the place out myself. Pada is inside the market next to the bakery. They have a few rolls already made and I grabbed a few to take home to try, but they also have a small menu you can order from. And, I found out that they do party platters! Woo! They have all kinds of platters, but I just ordered simple California rolls and spicy tuna rolls. On the day of pickup, the chef was right about finishing making the rolls and pickup was a breeze The sushi looked very fresh and clean and all of our guests loved them. Pada Sushi needs more foot traffic on Yelp! I really hope they promote online more because they can really do well!

Over priced compared with other local sushi restaurants. Taste and freshness are not good
