Ortega's Diner

I went in for breakfast and stress ordered the chorizo plate because I was starving and there was so much to choose from. Service was great (not just) because I was a doorbuster and got there when they first opened for the day. The server was nice and attentive, I'm sure this is what's to be expected anytime. The place started to fill up as I was leaving, so that's a good indicator. Everything was really good. I stopped being that obnoxious person that takes a picture of their food, but I wish took a picture of my plate to share here. They have an extensive menu, so there were many options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Since I stress ordered, I will be going back to try all the other things I had my eye on. I saw a sign about having micheladas and noticed a good selection of mexican beer, specifically my two go-to's...Pacifico and Tecate Light. Since ambiance is still greyed out, I can say the place was very on brand with the newer places opening now...black trim, faux reclaimed wood, and fake plant wall cover decor. Can't remember if there was the standard neon tube light that comes with this, but you know the look.

Great local place for breakfast!!I was greeted upon entering by Lucy, who provided awesome service.I ordered the Mediterranean Omelette, which was stuffed with spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, and topped with feta cheese. This is a great vegan option.The atmosphere was very, clean, relaxing, with great decor. I am planning on this being my neighborhood breakfast spot.

Ortega's dinner food is delicious, home made style Mexican food. I had couple of their plates from Costillas en salsa verde, guacamole, cosido de res and today I try their menudo was great. They also have a great breakfast with waffles and pancakes! Give them a try you will not be disappointed! Their service is great! Thank you Ortega's staff

Ortega's recently opened in Fontana. I came in to give them a try and decided to go with a pastrami sandwich to go with Onion Rings instead of fries. The misses went with a Chile verde Gordita and an Asada Gordita.Let me tell you that this might be the 2nd best pastrami sandwich I've ever had. There's a place in LA you might of heard of, Langer's Deli, they're pretty good. But this pastrami sandwich here at Ortegas was absolutely delicious! You know the food is good when the food puts you in an even better mood. The misses really liked her food, she said I cam bring her those anytime. Our waiter was amazing, friendly and was very attentive to our needs without us having to ask for it. The ambiance is nice, simple but very nice. And lastly, I appreciate that the music that was playing was not loud, I don't like having to shout to my wife when the music is loud.

First time trying this place and it did not disappoint, the customer service, cleanliness and food was amazing. I got a breakfast plate ham & eggs with hash brown, toast & a side of sausage, it was delicious. Will definitely be back!

I miss the hotspot, but the ortega's diner is just as good. Came by for brunch. Service was top notch, and pasole was bomb.com. Sad they didn't have their liquor license yet, but food was still good. Satisfied our mexican breakfast craving:

Ok came back to try the Menudo. I'll tell you straight up, I've had better, but not by Much. I truly enjoyed it was Tasty meat Plentiful. They ask "con grano" which I like, those who don't understand that means "with grain" specifically the Hominy. The service is always good music on but not loud and TV's with Sports on which is always a Plus. Ask for extra Chile and they will bring you out perfectly crisp Chile de Arbol that crumble right in. Remember they are Hot and I Love it, because I like to sweat when eating Menudo. Over All will definitely come back for the Menudo. One minor criticism kick up the tortilla game and for me that would top it don't like packaged corn tortillas.

Food and service was amazing. Welcoming, clean and delicious salsas. We came for brunch and all of our meals were tasty. Not to mention the staff was super attentive and kept our cups full!

First of all when entering Ortega's the service is excellent as staff greets you right when you walk in (sorry I forget the young lady's name hopefully she doesn't see this lol) but she has the best customer service and remembers my name after only going there a couple times. First time I went I was inquiring about the menudo ( I like good menudo and wanted to try a different spot other then my other favorite spot Lucy's diner) to find out it is the same owner. The menudo was off the Chain of course due to being identical to Lucy's diner, today I tried the albondigas and it was so good. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. I give Ortega's 5 Stars / I am very picky on where I eat and am always 100% honest on my reviews Great Job

Service was great! I ordered Supreme Burrito with shredded beef. It was delicious. The shredded beef was very tasty and the sauces were devine.
