I was in the area and had a few minutes to kill so I decided to try this donut shop.It was one of those, "should I drive a little further to another donut shop that other Yelpers have tried." Or "should I be the guinea pig." Given that I'm writing this review, I went with the later option.Parking: It's next door to the Riverside Country Services Building so there's a huge shared lot as well as street parking. On an early Saturday morning, I had my choice of practically any spot in the lot. However, I'd imagine if you come on a weekday, parking might be different. There was only one other customer in the store and it looked like he was camping out and had been there awhile. Surprisingly it's pretty large for a donut shop with lots of tables and chairs. Maybe it gets really busy during the week?Service: While it wasn't bad, it was a little ackward. The woman immediately came from the back to help me. (You can see in the blurry photo that she's ready to serve. But she did so without any greeting. I don't think she spoke a word the entire transaction nor while I was taking photos.Food: Despite it being after 9 am on a Saturday, there were many varieties of donuts available including muffins, cinnamon rolls, fritters, and beer claws. Donuts are my weakness. Okay, any kind of desserts is my weakness. All right, all right. Food is my weakness.I choose a Boston Cream. Expecting to pay $1.35 for a filled donut (per the sign), I was only charged the price of a glazed donut $0.80.You'll pay $6.98 for a dozen mixed donuts which is about $1 or so less than where I live. However, I didn't check out any other donut places in Hemet so I don't know if that's the standard rate for the area or not. Prices go up if you get all raised to $7.50 and $8.00 for all jelly donuts.Cappuccinos start at $1.70 and smoothies are $2.99.There's a $0.50 cent charge if you use your credit or debit card for purchases less than $5.The donut itself: As it was slightly after 9 am, I wasn't expecting a freshly made donut. However, it had the "been sitting on the shelf a little bit longer than it should" taste. Not to say it was stale, because it wasn't. But it was just starting to turn and get a little crispier than a donut should. The chocolate frosting was good, not too sweet nor too thick. The cream portion, however, was lacking. Maybe a teaspoon of cream if that. Which was disappointing. Maybe that's why she only charged me for a glazed donut?Would I go back again? Maybe. Depending on how the other donut shops tasted. First I'd want to try donuts from the other places. After all, if I'm going to eat a donut, I want it to be a good donut. Otherwise I might as well buy a donut from 7-11.

I went on Thursday around 10:30 am. It was packed! I think due to the weather. Woman who may be the owner was very friendly as always. I ordered a large coke (so delicious! Considering I'm not a huge coke fan) and a cinnamon roll. I paid under $3 for the 2 items. My cinnamon roll was freakin delicious and it was huge! I might have to come once a week for this combo lol.
