I've lived close to this place for seven years and haven't been. I'm so glad I did.. me and my daughter enjoyed it so much. The sushi was great. The service was great. We will definitely be here often.

Food is still good. Bento box combo is a great option. Used to offer brown or fried rice for a small upcharge. Now they only offer steamed rice, which sucks. When asked, they shrug and basically say too bad for you. Customer service is terrible now. They act like they are doing you a favor. Lost a long time customer. Won't go back.

This place use to be really clean and a pleasure eat here. Very disappointed in Omokase. We experienced small flies on our table and coming on our food we addressed to the staff and all they did was smashed them and said sorry. We asked to speak with a manager and he compensated a little $5 discount. This grossed us out we would have order more food but and drinks had there not be flies hanging around. Please clean up the place and check your alcohol for fruit flies.

I have come here two times in the last 2 months. Great food! Consistent service and quality. We ate in house once and to go on the other. We ordered 14 rolls to go and they were all excellent. We will definitely be back and always recommend Omakase!

The staff was great, ambiance was nice but the food just didn't seem right. Appetizers were good but the fish from the sushi just tasted so fishy. My classic roll was so dry and all the pieces from the nigiri / sashimi plate had a really bad aftertaste. The other two rolls were okay though. Maybe it was an off day.

One of the few restaurants that close later at 10pm which is the main reason we came. Came at 845 and was seated right away. Not packed but still a good number of people. Looks like they are staffed correctly because service was good and food came fast. Poki salad - great salad! Tons of fish and ponzu dressing is yummy. Salmon carpaccio - very good portion of salmon. Same dressing as the saladMixed tempura - this came piping hot. 3 pieces of shrimp with 4 pieces of veggies. Batter was crunchy and the dipping sauce was flavorful. Eel special roll - California roll with eel and spice tuna on top. I wasn't expecting the spicy tuna (not my fave but they made it well). And the portion size was very big for the roll. Food quality high (food price also high but at least quality is there and service was good)

First time to try Omokase and this is great sushi place. It's located corner of Haven and foothill. It is very spacious . Liked the bar. Lots of clientele. The sushi chef looks authentic Japanese Service was good. The attendant was very attentive. Keep refilling our drinks. Food was awesome. From the appetizer to the main entree and sushi roll were excellent. So fresh, tasty and sushilicious The Yellowtail collar and salmon collar were grilled to perfection. The ponzu sauce blended well with grilled fish . The vegetables tempura battered was so crispy and not to oily. The rainbow roll, unagi roll and baked salmon roll were so delicious. The sushi rice didn't fall off when you picked with chopsticks. The other sushi place that we go to frequently their rice roll was too soft and it breaks when you pick it up. The baked mussels were excellent not rubbery when you eat it . The sauce mixture they put on top was splendid. The tempura green ice cream ended our anniversary dinner well. This will be my new go too sushi restaurant.
