Oishii Sushi & Teriyaki

I noticed a fishy smell upon entering. My spouse said it did not smell bad, not like spoiled fish but just fresh fish. We always eat here so it was not a problem, just worth mentioning. To start, our edamame and miso soup were delicious but seasoned extra salty. The Sushi rolls we ordered this time were: The Super Oishii Roll, the Secret Menu Fried Rice squares with Spicy Tuna, and the Crunchy Shrimp Roll. We had to ask for ginger, wasabi, and eel sauce. Usually the ginger and wasabi would be automatically included. (The squares were oily and overpriced for $15 so we won't order them next time. We could pick them up with our fingers, so might make a decent hors d'oeuvres) We fell for the mystique of the "secret menu" presented by the hostess, Giselle. It was laminated so I mentioned to her that it can't be much of a secret and we all laughed.The other two rolls were delicious as usual. The Crunchy Shrimp roll did not have those little crispy crunchy bits as we are used to so we compared it to the menu photo. They looked the same so maybe just the way it is now.I DO NOT blame the restaurant for this next bit. I'm sure they are compensating somehow in the kitchen sinks using very hot water for handwashing coupled with sanitizing products. One thing I noticed this time was that the landlord of the business park needs to get in there and be responsive to the service needs of their restaurant owner tenants. The low flow toilets are unflushable. The sinks lack hot water. This is critical for making sure that cooks and servers can wash their hands (especially critical with norovirus rampant and surviving on surfaces despite rigorous cleaning). Again, this is a landlord complaint, not a management issue.The food is always prepared to high standards and is safe to eat. We have always felt well and perfectly digested the food. We respect the sushi chefs tremendously to take care of diners.Atmosphere is club like and fun with music, disco lights, a long bar and dining room. Who wouldn't want to celebrate their birthday, date night, holiday or special occasion with THAT MASTERPIECE!?!It was a slow business day there, and we used to see a fuller house. We want Oishii Sushi to stay open so please give them your business. Your fans love you.

Food- everything on the menu is the same. Same sauces, same ingredients just remixed around. Huge ratio of rice to fish, making food bland and awkward to eat. If you want all you can eat, don't bring kids because they charge the whole table and kids are $20 each. Bad value for their unimpressive offerings.Service- 4 different people came to help us at very random times. One would come, we'd make a request, and then she'd disappear and help 10 other tables, ignoring our request. Very slow service and they automatically added an 18% gratuity to the bill. Ambiance- very dirty overall, with cheap Christmas lights and dusty fake plants hanging everywhere. Smelly, dirty restrooms. Overall run down and overpriced, poor quality and not worth it, especially in this economy!! Should have picked up sushi at the grocery story!

I was hoping this place was good but the sushi are not terrible. They were either too soggy with the rice falling apart or they were just overly sweet. The biggest issue is the waiting time. It's about 25 min in between orders. The waiters were nice but forget the orders and are difficult to flag down for refills. They also add an automatic 18% tip on your bill no matter how many people are in your party. Overall, I wouldn't go back to this place.

Tonight's dinner was fantastic! All the different dishes were great! Best Birthday dinner in a long time! The fish was fresh and the service was good ! I love the deco all around the large room!

The food was great! We ordered the all you can eat! And we ate our money's worth! They did require an 18% gratuity for a party of 2! They have the tablets to place your orders now. The service was quick and efficient. The restaurant was clean, and busy on Friday night.

Ordering from a tablet instead of the waiter or waitress is definitely a no go we waited 30 minutes and our food hadn't came out, a waitress finally asked if we had placed our order. They said it never went through. Then we waited another 15 minutes between appetizers and food to come out yet everything was ordered at the same time we got full real quick cause we had to wait so long for everything and got full from the edamame and the water and soda we drank while we waited. Usually have better experience but not today...keep in mind there was only 1 other party when we got here.

Love the Sushi, but the (restroom's) NEED attention. The stall's look dirty and dusty. They desperately need a wipe down. Made me think & wonder how well they clean the kitchen if the restroom looks this dirty. I would rate 5 stars but because of the way these restrooms look I give it 4 stars almost 3 stars. The food is so delicious & never had a problem with the food but the RESTROOMS!!

Came here as a celebration with coworkers for some AYCE sushi. They were able to accommodate our obnoxiously large party without warning, so it was greatly appreciated. The service was relatively efficient. The ambiance was pretty standard for a moderate-tier restaurant. The menu was diverse and had everything you would want as a sushi lover. The sushi itself was okay. The rolls were great and flavorful, but the nigiri was something to be desired. Some of the fish like the tuna were on the lower end of quality, but it is as expected. Overall, the meal was still solid and I left with a full belly. I would definitely come back for the affordable price and good vibes.

Prices are pretty great and the sushi was just so yummy ^-^ . My partner and I were served by these two girls working there and they were just the kindest servers. This place is incredibly underrated!
